Looking at the world today with wars, famine, diseases, sickness, poverty, hatred, jealousy...........All sighs of endtime as the bible says.

Can prayers change the bible prophecy? I see things everyday and what I do is just accept them as bible prophecy.

The prayers of a Christian can get God's attention for sure. It can certainly gain favor from God and affect world events. But change Biblical prophecy? No. It certainly can affect the faithful praying Christian to protect and provide. After all, God is faithful to fulfill His promises to His people who believe them.

God's written Word cannot change. I.E. This world is going to be destroyed. Nothing can stop it. "To provide and protect" as in feed us even when there is nothing to eat. Example, Israel in the desert for 40 years. Protect us, in every way. Israel continued to rebel against God. They were terribly destroyed.

The death and resurrection of the Nation of Israel was foretold. Nothing could stop it. The resurrection of Israel happened in 1948. The promise to regain control of Jerusalem was promised. It happened in 1967. It was also a warning to all of us that THE END is truly at hand. Nothing can stop it.

Those who believe God's promises will be protected and provided for. God gave us MANY promises. But they are only for we who believe them.

Luke 21:24 (NKJV)
24 And they will fall by the edge of the sword, and be led away captive into all nations. And Jerusalem will be trampled by Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. Luke 21:32 (NKJV)

32 Assuredly, I say to you, this generation will by no means pass away till all things take place.

Our prayers change nothing. We are supposed to align our prayer with God's Will

Our prayers change nothing.
Then why pray? Speak for yourself.

Matthew 21:22 (NKJV)
22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."

James 5:16-18 (NKJV)
16 The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. 17 Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed earnestly that it would not rain; and it did not rain on the land for three years and six months. 18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth produced its fruit.

honestly ducky.....you really have everything backwards

Elijah was praying in God's Will - therefore it happened.

We pray in order to know God and His will.

1 Chronicles 4:9-10 (NKJV)
9 Now Jabez was more honorable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, "Because I bore him in pain." 10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, "Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!" So God granted him what he requested.

There are several ways to learn God's Will. Praying over time; learning to see the love in every situation; etc
Scripture please.

Mark 11:24 (KJV)
24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
