Unless they are against the constitution and then the government has crossed the line to tyrannical.

The government created the Constitution and has the right to change it if the need arises. They have amended it seventeen times since the original ten amendments were written.

The second amendment, which clearly states that its purpose is the creation of a militia to secure a free state, can be altered or removed if the congress sees fit to do so. That is not tyranny.

BTW, have you enrolled in the militia yet?

The why does having guns to defend oneself scare people to want them to deny being able to defend themselves?

I don't own a gun but I believe in the right to arm oneself for defensive reasons.
We don't have a "gun" problem. It goes deeper than that.
It's almost an animalistic behavior, like the mob video I posted above.
Now if that mob in the above video decides to attack you, and there were over 50 of them,
how many bullets in a magazine would it take to defend oneslef against that crowd?
And what if they all had guns too?

So right now we have a government that is leaving the border wide open. We don't know who or what is crossing or how many.
There is social unrest in our streets. Drugs and illegal guns in the hands of kids.
They are shutting down our energy supply, our food supply, and raising the cost of living.
Welcome to the "New Normal"

The cost of fuel this winter is going to be ludicrous. I have to move out of my mobile home to a small shed this winter in order to afford the propane to heat one building, have water and electricity. The water to the mobile needs to be shut off and drained or the pipes will burst.
My radiator on my car is overheating. I don't have the money to take it to the shop. And the cost of gas is cutting into my toilet paper and laundry detergent needs.
Luckily I have been storing food for the last year, so I have plenty of rice and beans on hand.

But there are a LOT of people NOT paying attention. And when winter comes it will take many by surprise.
Their rents will skyrocket, they will be evicted, they will be looking for food and shelter and warmth.
When they come to your house, what you gonna do? What you gonna do when they come for you?

Call the police? Well, we just learned by my shear amazement, that they are not obligated to protect you.
That's some scary chit news right there my friend.
And if they are not obligated to save you, then who is?

YOU.

Be prepared. It's going to be a COLD DARK winter friends.
PRAY.
Hugs

Between you and Bobby Jo, there sure are an awful lot of predictions happening and so far I have yet to see any come true. So you'll have to excuse me if I don't believe you on this one too. I mean, after all, I was vaccinated, and yet I am still here, even though it was Bobby Jo who claimed that the vaccinated will all be dead by May. There is also the issue of Bobby Jo stating that the end of the tribulation will be in 5 months, maybe four months now. The tribulation hasn't even started.

I just cannot take either of you seriously.

If by some chance it does happen, I will deal with it as I deal with everything else. At the time that it happens. I am not going to worry myself about things that could happen. I did that for most of my life and it does nothing.

Where is our "well regulated militia" in times like these?

Call 911 and you'll find out! On the state and local level they're called the police. On a federal level they're called the national guard.

"So right now we have a government that is leaving the border wide open. We don't know who or what is crossing or how many" is total nonsense. I live in a border state, so I know what I'm talking about.

I'm glad you're getting ready for winter.

It's nonsense to say that the police aren't obligated to protect you.

to amend any of the original 10 amendments would be catastrophic. Also, ALL citizens make up the militia. Be being a citizen, you are by default part of the militia.

oh really?? Explain this.
“Neither the Constitution, nor state law, impose a general duty upon police officers or other governmental officials to protect individual persons from harm — even when they know the harm will occur,” said Darren L. Hutchinson, a professor and associate dean at the University of Florida School of Law. “Police can watch someone attack you, refuse to intervene and not violate the Constitution.”

The Supreme Court has repeatedly held that the government has only a duty to protect persons who are “in custody,” he pointed out.”

I really enjot the story of Joseph in the bible.
He had a dream about 7 fat cows and 7 lean cows. Because sometimes that's the way the "climate" works.
We have been real fortunate in the USA since what, the dust bowl in the 1920's.
When they had to stand in line for bread and butter and roll out the New Deal.
We have problems in the west right now between droughts, fires, and flooding. A lot of farmers haven't been able to recoup the land to grow crops.
Then we have the Ukraine/Russia bs that's causing us to have to deal with fertilizer shortages.
I don't know if you've noticed lately, but in the last year we have lost a lot of agriculture and farm buildings and storage locations to some weird unexplained fires. Lots of chickens in one establishment was burned to the ground. Another, about 50 cows were able to escape being bbq'ed.
Fertilizer, grain and other factories poof up in smoke.

Then we have the costs of fuel.
You think I'm making this up?
See I believe God gave Joseph a dream because Joseph listened to God.
But today, God is shoving it in our face hoping we see the writing on the wall.

And something aint right with those vaccines friend. Maybe you got lucky. Thank God.
Lot of other people not as lucky.
I haven't had no test, no vaccines, no boosters, and I still haven't gotten the virus of any variation.
I don't live in fear. I live in commonsense and preparedness.

I don't trust "man" or "science" .
I trust God.

I'm sure your a lot more financially better off today than you was 2 years ago too right?
Got your electric car and your solar panels.
Do you live in the DC bubble with the rest of the clowns with their heads up their arse?

I live in the real world.
And I have no fear.
But I am preparing just like Joseph.
Not just because I see the writing on the wall, but because I listen to the word of God.
And history repeats itself...
and we're about to go round the merry go round again.
Hold on.

How's the stock market doing today by the way?
What goes up, must come down.
It's the gravity of the situation I don't think people understand.

This is ok right?

Yes, I am a liberal -- and proud of it!

It's obvious that you don't understand freedom or democracy.

BTW, Darren L. Hutchinson is no longer at the University of Florida. He joined the Emory University law school last year.

And one opinion from one law professor doesn't amount to much. There are plenty of ego-driven jerks in academia and also some brilliant minds (see below).

Ketanji Brown Jackson was also a law professor. Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson is an exceptionally well-qualified jurist whose credentials, experience, and evenhanded approach to the administration of justice will make her an outstanding Supreme Court Justice. Do you agree with her?
