Indeed! Just musing out loud brother :)

So, “if” you were to have a visitor from another country, is there a particular food, that would be something for them to try, that would be a favorite in your country?

For poisonous snakes here you have to travel east of the mountains or down to California. I'm glad we don't have any poisonous snakes in the pacific northwest. We went on a trip to Utah when I was a child and hunted rattle snakes. Never got one, but it was a family outing for the boys.

When I lived in California we had black widow spiders nesting outside my apartment and in my parent in laws yard. They give a nasty bite and are dangerous. I went on hikes in the mountains but like you never saw a rattle snake so I guess I was lucky. But they were in the hills next to my parent in laws house.

There were rattlers all over the missile sites in S. Dakota I worked on in the Air Force. The guys would kill them, clean and flay them and I would bread and fry them up...yeah, chicken. :D

Oh yes, we had too many coyotes, we thought they were planting them there because of the deer population and so many getting hit. Me and my dog used to pass by partial carcasses and someone said they were called "warm kills" which meant, the animal (most likely coyotes) was near by and had every intention of coming back for the rest so, again...we went to the other side of the yard away from the tree line. Skunks, opossum, fox, our pond was HUGE and had HUGE snapping turtles in there...they are nasty! And every winter, a white owl could be seen allot on an old corn crib in back. I so miss living there.
@Nancy We even get coyotes venturing to the edge of urban areas....

Same here Farouk, they have been seen in city townships like Tonawanda and Cheektowaga!
Those things hunt house cats at night where I used to live. I don’t blame them, they have to eat.

Neither do I blame them, humans have been continually clearing so much forest areas to build their "dream homes" and putting Gods creatures out of their own natural habitats :(
