I walked out of CF six months ago because the moderators weren't much good, I can't remember exactly why but it's probably because they were lefties who deleted or censored some my posts or issued me with a bullsh*t warning..:)
I've got a zero tolerance policy towards any forum which prevents free speech, so I quickly got on my bike.
Incidentally I'm a moderator myself at the Mission4Today aviation forum (named PoorOldSpike) and we never ban people.
Sadly people apply to become mods at various other forums because they see ads like this one and feel perfectly suited for the job..:)
Yeah I seriously need to reconsider if I want to go back there. It is a larger forum than this one, but this isn't the first time I've been modded for holding an opinion. I'm slightly disgusted.
I was banned there without notice or reason. There is a message in my private message box along with dozens of pms, none of which I can open because I was banned.
My ‘crime’ was supporting someone who got modded for expressing an opinion they didn’t like. They were uninterested in having a discussion.
Secondly/ as far as it being a bigger than this one, I’m not so sure about that. They shadow ban members so as to prevent the members (like me) from accessing the site, they still show my username as active.
First they modify, move or simply delete posts they don’t like without notifying the poster or leaving any trace of changes/deletions in the thread, then they punish anyone who inquires. This is what happened to Runner- an attorney who they censored heavily before shadow banning. When I asked about it all (in private) and said I happened to agree with him- I was similarly banned.
They are very dishonest. MANY of their listed membership are ‘fake accounts.’ Remnants of past users they won’t purge from the site. Banned, but not shown as such.
They were very happy to take my donation however-which was represented as a means of eliminating ads— but didn’t include their banner ads— a point they failed to disclose.
Bad Mods, dishonest Owner.
I'm debating whether or not I should seriously give this mod a piece of my mind, or if I should take it in meekness... and wait for the day he has to defend his decision to stand up for a liar before God...
I've browsed forums I considered joining and read the site rules first. Some sites prohibit harsh criticism of political leaders of any party. All due to the idea God set them there so for us to criticize is criticizing God.
CF has a rule prohibiting denial COVID-19 is a thing too.
Maybe consider you're better off. If they're ultra liberal we've enough of that in the politics of our country.

Imho it’s better to just leave . I’m on 3 forums plus my own . I’m going to be leaving the one I’ve been on the longest ( 20 ) years CARM for moderator issues . As a Calvinist for 95% of that time a could say and do most anything and never get banned . Now as a non Calvinist I get banned every week and I’m nicer now and only attack the arguments. So I’m growing tired of fighting it since I now have a target on my back lol . And it does no good to complain I get banned for that now too . So it’s turned into a lose lose situation.

They all have their problems and some lean to the left while professing to be Christian.
But this one here is my favorite.
I have no animosity toward them, they will reap as they sow and what they sow is discord. It’s not the first forum I’ve been banned from. I even started a brand new site and paid for it all, supporting the owner for two years before terrible mods and an incompetent owner making horrible decisions ruined it. C’est la vie!

Same story here! I left there well over a year ago.
The liberal moderators there will shut you down in a minute if you are hard on the Dems.
They drag their politics into the Scripture and it's very evident.
If I'm correct in what I understand, the new owner here is from CF.

They do not care about truth any more. Political correctness is all they want. And not only is Biden a liar but he is a demented traitor. Should have been arrested and locked up on day one.
