Thanks Charlie24, a well put together answer!
Consider how the writer phrased this new access to God, i.e. "through the curtain, that is his flesh"
We all agree the curtain was removed but what of the Lord's body?
Clearly something was removed to provide this access!
Thoughts?
Now we are getting closer to the issue at hand!Think on this.
The "vail" was "rent in half", as Jesus was slain on the Cross.
So, as Jesus's BODY was torn and slain, the veil was torn and taken away.
Now we are even closer still! To make a short answer, the veil represented separation between God and man because of sin.
Again, once you understand "what" was removed in the body of Jesus you will know why Christ had to have our nature entirely. That which is visible or seen--the man of sin is revealed, which Christ has put upon Himself for judgement.
Good biblical answer :)To make a short answer, the veil represented separation between God and man because of sin.
The taking away of the veil pictures the taking away of sin through the flesh of our Lord. The only way it could be!
There can not be enough books written, there can never be enough said, the importance of what Christ, in His reincarnation, did for us that day. It is the source of all the blessings we receive from the Father.
True its loaded all, and everyone so far have hit on aspects of the truth concerning what was removed in the Lord's body that opened the way to God.We are dealing with the fallacy known as the loaded question in the OP. :)
No, it's singular. The correct answer is multi faceted not singular :)
I’ll bet once you post your answer no one will agree it’s the only correct answer :)No, it's singular.
How can this be said?To deny the answer to this riddle of Hebrews 10:19-20 is deny ones own salvation.
Yes, he witnessed that work first hand!So salvation is passing a quiz .
good to know lol .
tell that to the thief on the cross
That's a no then.I’m sure he understood the entire NT that had yet to be written lol .
keep those fallacies coming …
