Then why do people sometimes spend so much time on their sins for?

Didn’t Jesus take them away? Resurrecting for justification for you if you choose by faith to believe you can become part of the heavenly kingdom and live by the spiritual means.

Jesus did in fact take away the sins of the world, by his death, which was instated by the people in Jerusalem, and then Jesus was handed over to the Roman’s and crucified. The significance of this the fact of Jesus being the Lamb who was slain before the foundations of the world. The Jewish people would experience a coming day of wrath which they had expected from their Old Testament scripture that they would say is canon. Because of his Death, his blood had to be taken and then He would have to come back to show that he had victory over everything taking his bride which was spotless and blameless at that time in that age in 70Ad, with him coming to take his bride and the wrath of God would be poured out upon the nation of Israel.

It is nice to know that all the sin of the world has been taken care of by the Lord, and that was a once in a lifetime deal. If sin is still the focus and not the saving grace of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, then the focus is not placed on hope to overcome the challenges people face in day in life. Just believe the scripture for what it does say.

John the Baptist said this:

John 1:29

The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

Don’t know if I really believe that according to what John states, however you have your right to deem it as you see fit. I believe Jesus did take care of the sins of the world on behalf of all people, to be able to enter into the kingdom of heaven if they so make the decision to do so, through Him.

Basically, you just agreed with what "PTA" wrote in the previous post.
Yes, Jesus is the Lamb of God, that taketh away the sin of the world, who "tasted death for every single person".
Therefore, if we don't accept/receive His free judgment over death, by His Gift of Grace through Jesus, and allow Him to apply it to our life, while we still have breath, we will be lost from God forever. We shall remain eternally dead, "as having never lived". John 3:18.

Yep the walking dead.

Still doesn’t mean their sins haven’t been covered.

Glory to God and his ways and his provisions.

Jesus paid for the sin of the world.
But this is an OFFER.... only.

In other words, it has been accomplished.....Jesus has "become sin", for everyone, for the last 2000+ yrs, but He only becomes this LITERALLY when the person "believes in Jesus".

Think of it like this...

Lets say that everyone in the world is given a Billion Dollars, in the Bank.
Yet, if they don't go and get it, ..... its nothing, yet its there.

So, Christ is that ETERNAL PAYMENT FOR SIN, that is always there, but you have to go to the CROSS and BELIEVE to : receive it.... otherwise you DIE without it.

If you study for a few minutes, one verse.

2nd Corinthians 5:19

You read that GOD as Christ was on the Earth, and He is not charging you with your sin, because HE Himself died on the Cross for them all.

People like me, are called into the ministry to offer this "RECONCILIATION", ....
See that?

God on the Cross as Christ is the offer of reconciliation between you and God, whereby God takes your sins upon Himself as your sin bearer and gives to you in place of your sin, His very RIGHTEOUSNESS">.
This is "the gift of Salvation" and "the Gift of Righteousness".
He did this 2000+ yrs ago because God can't have you and keep you unless you have the same Righteousness as Himself, so, the Cross is where you get that from God.

See how simple that is?
God can't have you unless He gives you what you have to have so that He can accept you and keep you.
CHRIST on the CROSS is HOW God is doing this for you.

This is "the simplicity that is in Christ", and it is : 2 Corinthians 5:19, and this is the "preaching of the Cross"., as this is the "power of GOD, unto Salvation".

When we sin, it's hard not to keep looking over our shoulders, waiting to be punished. It is easier if we repent of our sin.

Are you implying that the Grace of God, through the sacrificial death of Christ and the shedding of His blood for our sins, is a "big blanket" that covers everyone?
YES, INDEED IT US!
BUT....
That is only half the story.
Now that ALL are forgiven, WE all need to repent towards God through Jesus, AND RECEIVE the Gift of His Holy Spirit, which is the vehicle of HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.
Without His Righteousness within us, we are lost forever upon physical death. There are NO second chances, once a person perishes (surely dies).

No one is arguing that if people do not have anything with God, they are made right with Him because of that.

People who desire to be part of the Heavenly Spiritual Kingdom, come into that kingdom by faith and of course Jesus is the righteousness of a believer, because of everything that He had done and not what the believer has done.

Everyone says there are no second chances.

Where in the Bible, does it ever say anything about 'second chances?'

It simply what God desires, for none to perish.

Everyone who dies is given a resurrected spiritual body be it for a faithless person, or a for a person who was of faith.

People never consider what John writes about in Revelation, but that is by their own mistake of not considering what he had to say in Revelation 21-22.

People make their choice now today whether to believe or not. Their sins have been paid for, and that is also hard for people to really grasp.

Billions of humans will burn in Hell "forever and ever". Did God take away their sins?

Matthew 25
41 Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
Revelation 20
10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

You have misunderstood the meaning of the "taking away" of sins, when the Lamb of God "took away" the sin of the world.

What it means is that (a) Christ paid the sin debt in full, therefore paid the penalty for the sins of the whole world, (b) Christ thereby removed the enmity between God and mankind, and made possible the reconciliation of sinners with God through Christ, and (c) Christ made it possible for sins to be forgiven and cleansed in those who repented and believed on Him. But He also made it possible for those who were redeemed to shun sin and unrighteousness and walk in the Spirit, by giving believers the gift of the Holy Spirit.

This does not mean that all believers automatically become sinlessly perfect when they are saved. Rather they receive the imputed righteousness of Christ and are then required to work out their salvation with fear and trembling. Not go back to a sinful lifestyle. And sanctification is progressive.

Isn't forgiveness sort of a second chance? seems to be

don’t know.

If that is the case, All people are forgiven of their sins before they're are born (even though we do commit sin (missing the mark of what Jesus Christ had fulfilled). The only thing not worked out is the relationship between the individual and the person.

John said the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. I believe it’s true. Most do not, God through Christ reconciled the world unto himself.

Again you post the same verses…

Why waste time continue to post this after doing it once? You believe God is gonna send people to hell and be on fire forever? I’m okay with the devil, the false prophet and the beast.

people miss this scripture or they don’t care or they over look it.

“But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21‬:‭8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

just read the above out loud to yourself.

“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭22‬:‭14‬-‭15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

revelation 20:10 is specifically talking about the beast, the devil and false prophet.

As you may know,

This thread is indicative that Sin has been taken care of, does that mean a person is perfect? The answer to this question is no. A person is not perfectly right before God - however their sins were paid for before they were born because of the Lord having died on behalf of the world. Everyone born into this world are similar to a blank slate, they can build up their spiritual side here by seeking out God in faith, and having a relationship with the Living God, through the Lord.

However, our flesh has the proclivity to sin - by our own desires when one is enticed to do something. Say a thought comes to your mind where you believe, you should get back someone who took something you own and put them in their place. This is the flesh decision, coming from the inner decider which is you (with-in your own soul (mind/will/emotion) - which you enact upon by and through your flesh.

The point is, is that since Jesus Christ and the Gospels, and his death, burial, and resurrection.

Sin had been paid for all people. The only thing that had remained was the consummation which is lead in by the Revelation which summarizes everything back to being restored like the Garden of Eden.

Thus this is why I believe that the sins of the world have been taken care of, a person can rest in Jesus, share Jesus with others, and give them the ability to choose to either love God and love others, or not.

Praise be to God, and may all us look towards Him, and the Son of God ! :)

Jesus Our Advocate

1My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you will not sin. But if anyone does sin, we have an advocate before the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. 2He Himself is the atoning sacrificea for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.3By this we can be sure that we have come to know Him: if we keep His commandments. 4If anyone says, “I know Him,” but does not keep His commandments, he is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But if anyone keeps His word, the love of God has been truly perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him: 6Whoever claims to abide in Him must walk as Jesus walked.
