The Law was nailed to the cross of Christ.
“having canceled the bond which stood against us with its legal demands; this he set aside, nailing it to the cross. He disarmed the principalities and powers and made a public example of them, triumphing over them in him.”
Colossians 2:14-15 RSV
What is this Law being talked about? It is the Law of Moses which was given on mount Sinai.
This is a great thing to know that we are not governed by the Laws of the Old Covenant which Jesus fulfilled for you on your behalf.
That also means there is no more accuser, which was Satan at one point in time when the Law was established Satans could accuse you before God.
Now today Satan has been done away with according to the Bible;
“and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulphur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night for ever and ever. Then I saw a great white throne and him who sat upon it; from his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Also another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, by what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead in them, and all were judged by what they had done. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire; and if any one's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.”
Revelation 20:10-15 RSV
Satan as an accuser is no more due to his defeat but not only because of this but because of the Law being done away with.
This is truly good news. There are only two commandments a Christian is given to live by you may disagree with it but it’s the only two that remain if you are a person in Christ.
With the old laws being done away with Jesus said this to the person who wanted to know what the greatest commandments were.
“But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sadducees, they came together. And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, to test him. “Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets.””
Matthew 22:34-40 RSV
Gentiles were never given any Laws pertaining to Israel, so it’s good to remember that because of everything Jesus had done for you, it is to seek out God in love by the spirit and to love your neighbor as yourself…
No matter what they believe, or how they may live their own life.
Agape love is the way, not fighting and bickering and arguing.
