In the context of Romans 8, Paul isn't talking about morality as such. According to Paul, there are two distinct ways to live as a moral person. "Walking in the flesh" is simply living in an attitude of self-righteousness. "Walking in the spirit", on the other hand, is living in an attitude informed by the gifts of the spirit such as patience, kindness, humbleness, graciousness, forgiveness and etc. God is not interested in our perfect obedience right now. We will fail, and we will fail less as we mature. But God is interested in our spirituality, i.e. the Holy Spirit's work in our hearts and minds. Our mind and heart is being renewed and as believers in Jesus, we walk according to our new enlightenment.the "repent or perish" I just briefly saw in someone else's thread but I think it's really there in the Bible, I just don't know in what context it was written though I think it might've been written to Christians vs non-Christians, I'm not sure!
I just had to write, I think I will always be condemned in Christ since I find it hard not to walk in the flesh in certain areas. For example, can I buy new clothes even if I still have stained old clothes? lol, this is not the only fleshly area I have trouble with, there's another area too.![]()

Thanks for replies.
Bottom line, confess your sins with a contrite heart and walk in the light of Jesus.
