Blended Gospel:

The religious Christian Church is (and has been since the RCC came into existence) teaching a blended, harmonized gospel that takes what Jesus and His Apostles preached to the Jews which included the Law and what Paul preached for the grace Church that excluded the Law and mixes them together. These teachings were never meant to be blended, harmonized together. When you do it you destroy both messages. The scriptures teach we are to “rightly divide the word of truth,” not blend it together.

Let me make it clear that all the scriptures are written FOR US, but not all are written TO US. --- Jesus’ message was to the Jews, not the grace Church. Paul’s message was to the grace Church.

I get depressed when I hear the blended gospel being taught. It is a gospel fostered by the devil. I have opposed it on forums for years and have been asked to leave because of my objections to it. Let me make it clear that Jesus Christ did not come to minister to the Gentiles, nor was His message "the kingdom gospel" sent to the Gentiles. He did not offer the "kingdom of heaven" to the Gentiles because the Gentiles were never promised a kingdom on this earth. The following scriptures support my view.

Matt 10:5-7 (NKJ)
5 These twelve Jesus sent out and commanded them, saying: "Do not go into the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter a city of the Samaritans.
6 "But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
7 "And as you go, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven is at hand.'

Matt 15:23-24 (NKJ)
23 But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, "Send her away, for she cries out after us."
24 But He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

Rom 15:8 (NKJ)
8 Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers:
Note that in Matt 10:5-7 and Matt 15:23-24 Jesus said He did not come EXCEPT to the house of Israel. Jesus came to confirm/fulfill all that was written of Him in the O.T. His mission was to the Jews, not to the Gentiles. This is what Paul meant in Rom 15:8.

HOWEVER; This is not to say that God did not have another purpose for Jesus' death on the cross.

But that purpose was “hidden in God” and not revealed until it was revealed to Paul on the road to Damascus by Jesus. The grace gospel was not in existence until Paul taught it. See Eph. 3:9 and Col. 1:26.

The Parable of the Wedding Feast; (Matt. 22: 1-10)
1 And Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said:
2 "The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son,
3 and sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come.
4 Again, he sent out other servants, saying, 'Tell those who are invited, "See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding."'
5 But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business.
6 And the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them.
7 But when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.
8 Then he said to his servants, 'The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.
9 Therefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.'
10 So those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.
NKJV

We, today, are only invited because the Jews rejected Jesus as their king. God will not let what His Son did on the cross go without results.
This is what I believe.

I disagree with this premise. Jesus came to fulfill the law. The good news he proclaimed to Israel is the the same good news Paul proclaimed to the world. There are not two "gospels". I'm beginning to get a spidey sense about what Veteran was addressing on another post.

Let me make it clear that Jesus Christ did not come to minister to the Gentiles, nor was His message "the kingdom gospel" sent to the Gentiles. He did not offer the "kingdom of heaven" to the Gentiles because the Gentiles were never promised a kingdom on this earth.

The first sentence is true, but the last part of the next sentence is false. God promised the nations through the prophets that they would be redeemed. Jesus knew this, of course:

And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast: The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus. Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus. And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit. John 12:20-24

We, today, are only invited because the Jews rejected Jesus as their king. God will not let what His Son did on the cross go without results.

Uh, no. Completely fallacious. God's intent from the beginning was to redeem mankind. YHWH informed Abraham that it was his intent to bring this about through his seed, i.e. Christ.

And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice. Genesis 22:18

Nice post HeRoseFromthedead.

We are all "One House" of Israel in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Married Wife to Jesus. Producing the Sons of God within us as we are each born from above from our Heavenly Mother Mt Sion, the New Jerusalem.

The doctrine of dispensationalism is what it sounds like the OP is pushing on this thread. Beware of that divisionary doctrine of segregation and futuristic sci-fi ideas. There is no truth there.

The Church is Israel. Simple :)

(Gal 6:16) And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

This one verse destroys the logic of dispensationalism...

Act 28:30 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him,
Act 28:31 Preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

The kingdom is first to the jews (not only to the Jews)...AND ALSO the GENTILES.

So the Church will be receiving all the blessings and curses laid upon Israel in the OT?

How does that destroy the logic of dispensationalism? Today the Church (Body of Christ) is made up of both believing Jews and Gentiles..

No. The curse to Israel was taken in to the grave with Jesus, who "was made the curse for us". Cool huh :)

He took both the blessing and the curse into the grave with Him. Only the blessing came forth from the grave with Him.

The Blessings of Israel are only upon those who are raised up with Christ in resurrection life in baptism by water and the Holy Spirit. Jesus is He who brought the Blessing of Israel forth from the grave with Him, which is the Blessing of Life everlasting. This is the Blessing promised to Israel and is only fulfilled to us in Christ.

Yes, the church is made up of Jews and gentiles. Everybody who believes is the Church. Not sure what the point here was...

But back to the topic, the doctrine of "dispensationalsim" where the "rapture theory" came out of, is of man and not of God. It is a delusion that those who love not the truth wlll fall for it. It has a sort of "form of godliness" but is without any power for none of it is true. That is why you don't find the 'rapture' taught in the Bible.

The point is... especially based on the double-gospel brand of dispensationalism Richard has been pushing, is that you can take ALL... Scripture not specifically written to Gentiles, and disregard it as applying to Gentiles. Basically Paul's Epistles only for Gentiles, not even the Four Gospel Books being for Gentiles.

One of the pet-peaves of the false doctrines those like Richard holds to is that Apostle Paul only... preached the Gospel of Grace, and that the Gospel of the Kingdom is ONLY... for Israel, and not believing Gentiles. That's why the Acts 28 Scripture which Episkopos posted reveals such dispensationalists ideas as fake.

You mentioned on another thread how you agree with much of Richard's posts as being spot on, yet I don't think you've really understood what all's in them.

I don't think you have understood the difference of what those like Richard has been preaching here, and why the Hyper-Dispensationalist doctrines differ from the original ideas of Dispensationalism.

Early dispensationalism did not try to separate God's Israel of believers from Gentile believers as one Body in Christ Jesus. It held to a separation of unbelieving Israel from the Church.

But what those like Richard, dan p, et al, have been pushing, goes farther, much farther. Early dispensationalism did not preach two totally separate Gospels, like one for Jews and another for Gentiles. It recognized one Gospel for both, but two different administrations or 'dispensations' of the one Gospel. Hyper-dispensationalism pushes the idea of two totally separate and distinct Gospels, along with two separate and distinct kingdom ideas, and even the false idea that the New Covenant is ONLY for Israel during the future Millennium time.

It is so different than mainstream Christian belief that it would qualify as a totally different religion.

****** And you are only too willing to furnish your false ideas as to what is in them. I think I express what I believe very well and I, and others, don't need you to read my mind. ****

I don't think you have understood the difference of what those like Richard has been preaching here, and why the Hyper-Dispensationalist doctrines differ from the original ideas of Dispensationalism.

****** Just as there are many different denominations of Christian churches with different beliefs there are branches in the study of scriptures from a dispensationalist view point. So what is new? *****

Early dispensationalism did not try to separate God's Israel of believers from Gentile believers as one Body in Christ Jesus. It held to a separation of unbelieving Israel from the Church.

**** How would you know since you can't see that Jesus only offered the kingdom to those who were to have it? You don't believe anything that a dispensationalist believes so I certainly don't see you as a dispensational study expert. *****

***** You are on here pushing your ideas aren't you? Again, you are not an expert on what dispensationalist believe. Dispensationalist believe the word of God. Where it is written that Jesus said He only came to the lost sheep of Israel they take Jesus at His word. You, obviously, do not. ****

It is so different than mainstream Christian belief that it would qualify as a totally different religion.

****** Yes! totally differant from the BLENDED gospel where men have taken the scriptures out of context. run them through a blender, and and then attempts to put them together as men want them to read. ****

Absolutely. The soul that sins will die whether "Christian", or not. The Lord knows those who belong to him. Many "Christians" do not.

Well, maybe not.

Romans 4:5-8
5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,
6 just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works:
7 "Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, And whose sins are covered;
8 Blessed is the man to whom the Lord shall not impute sin."

This does not apply to those who go to church and mouth the narrative but don't live by faith. That is why there are so many warnings to follow through and know the Lord, lest we become as stillborns that are cast out.

23 But He answered her not a word. And His disciples came and urged Him, saying, "Send her away, for she cries out after us."
24 But He answered and said, "I was not sent except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel."

We, today, are only invited because the Jews rejected Jesus as their king. God will not let what His Son did on the cross go without results.
This is what I believe.

Do you know what was the message that Jesus preached?

In everything He did it was to convince the Jews that He was their Messiah and King. The 12 continued to try and convince the Jews that Jesus was their Messiah and King.

On the day of Pentacost Peter was trying to convince the Jews that Jesus was their Messiah and King. Stephen was trying to convice the Jews that Jesus was their Messaih and King. --- No where in Peters words to the Jews on the day of Pentacost do we find that the shed blood of Jesus on the cross reconciles sinners to God. Neither do we find it in the words that Stephen said to the Jews before they stoned him. ----- You will only find it in the gospel of grace that Jesus gave to Paul. ** Prove me wrong!

Jesus never recinded the Law of Moses for the Jews.

Do you know the above or are you more familiar with the blended gospel that ignores the facts.

And Paul preached the gospel of the kingdom....to both.

The Jews rejected the gospel of the kingdom, (the promised kingdom for the Jews).

Paul preached the gospel of God's grace to all, both Jew and Gentile. The gospel of grace rescinded the Law of Moses. Paul said that if anyone seeks to be justified by the works of the Law of Moses that person has fallen from grace. You can't mix (blend) law with grace without destroying both.

Again I ask you to show, by the scriptures, where Jesus and the 12 preached the shed blood of Jesus reconciles sinners to God through faith in it doing so. You can't do it and you know it but you will still hang on to your false idea that the gospel never changed from the beginning of time.

Grace accomplishes the law...it doesn't circumvent it.

This scheme is fabricated so that the truth of Jesus Christ could be relegated to a past dispensation. Then we can get on with our own lives AND still be saved, glorified etc...

The false gospel is in the service of man....and the devil.

The true gospel of the kingdom is preached in power (grace) according to the new creation in Christ.

A false gospel is exactly what he's pushing, as it does relegate what our Lord Jesus Himself and His early Apostles taught to a totally different dispensation! According to his false gospel, Apostle Paul becomes our Saviour, and not The Lord Jesus Christ, for those on the C.R. Stam doctrines even glory in Paul's phrase of "my gospel" (Rom.2:16; Rom.16:25; 2 Tim.2:8).
