CS Lewis speculated on the same idea and ended up writing a science fiction novel about it called Perelandra. I am not a huge fan of science fiction, but I liked the book.

Oh yes Perelandra is a very good look at what life would have been like without the fall of man.

Out fo the silent planet
Perelandra
That hideous strength

I reccommend you read them all but be patient with the last one because it only getsd good towards the end.

Ohand if you'd prefer some lighter reading try the Magician's Nephew. It's the prequal to the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe and it has some very interesting thoughts on temptation and the fall of man.
