Hi Rw, the good news of the Kingdom has been preached for nearly 2 millenniums sir, and according to Mat 24:14 that would be the culmination of the world at it's completion, thus moving God to send the Kingdom. That is when satan will be removed from the earth and bound for the next thousand years. Right now he and the demons still freely roam the earth, and the Kingdom has not came sir.
If Christ had not come with the Kingdom of God, why does He tell us that we must be born again to see (understand) and enter His Kingdom?
John 3:2-3 (KJV) The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
John 3:5-7 (KJV) Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
Christ would not speak of how we might understand and enter into the Kingdom of God without also destroying the power of the spiritual being called Satan. By His death and resurrection Christ not only defeated sin and death for all who would believe, He also bound the power of Satan, by proving to be more powerful than he. It takes Spiritual power greater than the spiritual being that Satan possesses to defeat him. That's why Christ says, "But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you" (Lu 11:20). Christ proves He is not only more powerful than Satan, but also by demonstration of His power shows He has the power to perform miracles. Christ made it very clear that He ushered in by His Spirit the Kingdom of God with His first coming to earth a man.
Hebrews 2:14-15 (KJV) Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
Matthew 13:19 (KJV) When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
But Christ also made it very clear that the Kingdom of God is NOT now upon this earth, and will never be on THIS earth. And it cannot be physically observed, because the Kingdom of God He came with is spiritual and within you. His Kingdom is not now of this world because His Kingdom is a spiritual Kingdom being spiritually built in heaven.
John 18:36 (KJV) Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from hence.
Luke 17:20-21 (KJV) And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
While you're looking for a physical Kingdom of God to come to this earth, have you, like the Pharisees of old missed the spiritual Kingdom of God that Christ came to earth with?
