  1. We Christian's gracious Benefactor produces
    1. divine choice of we beneficiaries unto salvation, for the Christ of us Christians says
"you did not choose Me, but I chose you" (John 15:16) and "I chose you out of the world" (John 15:19)
AND, Paul is in accord with Jesus' words for he wrote to the Ephesians "Blessed [be] the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly [places] in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him in love" (Ephesians 1:3-4)
SO, clearly, Jesus' words in John 15:16 and John 15:19 state God exclusively chooses us believers by/of/through God
    2. beneficiaries' faith/belief in Lord Jesus, for the Christ of us Christians says (see also a word about belief/faith (Greek πίστις pistis) and believe (Greek πιστεύω pisteuó))
"This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent" (John 6:29)
AND Paul is in accord with Jesus' words for Paul wrote to the Ephesians "by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, [it is] the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His work, created in Christ Jesus" (Ephesians 2:8-10)
AND Peter is in accord with Jesus' words for Peter declared "God, who knows the heart, testified to them giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He also did to us; and He made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith" (Acts 15:8-9)
SO, clearly, Jesus' words in John 6:29 state for us believers to believe in Jesus whom the Father has sent is exclusively by/of/through God
    3. beneficiaries' fruit of the Spirit/righteous actions/good works, for the Christ of us Christians says
"he who practices the truth comes to the Light, so that his deeds may be manifested as having been wrought in God" (John 3:21)
AND Paul is in accord with Jesus' words for he wrote to the Philippians "being filled with the fruit of righteousness that [is] by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God" (Philippians 1:11)
SO, clearly, Jesus' words in John 3:21 state fruit in we believers is exclusively by/of/through God
    4. beneficiaries' birth by the Holy Spirit, for the Christ of us Christians says
"Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, 'You must be born again.' The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit" (John 3:5-8)
AND Peter is in accord with Jesus' words for he wrote to persons residing as aliens "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead" (1 Peter 1:3)
SO, clearly, Jesus' words in John 3:5-8 state we believers being born again is exclusively by/of/through God
    5. beneficiaries' repent by God's working, for the Christ of us Christians says
"I praise You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to babes" (Matthew 11:25)
AND the apostles and elders are in accord with Jesus' words with thier saying, "Well then, God has granted to the Gentiles also the repentance that leads to life" (Acts 11:18)
SO, clearly, Jesus' words in Matthew 11:25 state that God exclusively causes man to think differently after an encounter with God (repent means to think differently afterward)
    6. beneficiaries' love by God's working, for the Christ of us Christians says
"A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another" (John 13:34)
AND John is in accord with Jesus' words for he wrote "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God" (1 John 4:7, see the phrase "love is from God" meaning God is the source of true love)
AND John expands with his writing of "God is Love, and the one who abides in Love abides in God, and God abides in him" (1 John 4:16, see the phrase "one who abides in Love" is equivocated with "one who abides" "in God" which extends from God's exclusivity with "God is Love")
SO, clearly, Jesus' words in John 13:34 states that the love, true love (John 3:33), the very righteous love, the Godly love within us children of God, this love is exclusively by/of/through God.

I did not equate the word "species" with the word "kinds". The word "species" has at least 14 different meanings because the Priests of the Temple of Evolutionary Doom are a confused lot, and those priests have confused disciples.

The Word of God defines how a human will operates, and I cite scripture below that is authoritative about human will.

You emphatically declared your personal free will in your post, so your will is autonomous from God's will because your will is free (detached, disassociated, separate, unencumbered, disentangled, not dependent, not obligated, not indebted) with regard to God.

You convey that you control your will yourself.

See the word "self" in the word "yourself", so, in effect, you cast yourself as self-willed. Now, see the word "self" in the subsequent Apostle's quoted declaration as well as how the Apostle uses the word "self":

"The Lord knows how to rescue the godly from temptation, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment, and especially those who indulge the flesh in its corrupt desires and despise authority. Daring, self-willed, they do not tremble when they revile angelic majesties" (2 Peter 2:9-10).

See that "self-willed" people "under punishment for the day of judgment" according to Peter's Apostolic testimony.

Lord Jesus poses a rhetorical question which self-contains an answer "why do you not judge for yourselves what is right?" (Luke 12:57); and since choosing Right, that is Jesus, is the right thing to do according to free-willian philosophy, then Jesus says choosing Right cannot be done by people right there.

Either you believe Apostolic testimony, or you don't.

By the way, my loving God expresses His value and interest in the intimate details of my life for He says "the very hairs of your head are all numbered" (Matthew 10:30) and "Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?’ For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you" (Matthew 6:31-33).

But, in effect, you cast yourself as not of value to God; furthermore, you say God is not interested in you. Just look at what you wrote about shopping/eating and clothing in contrast to the Lord's sayings about eating and clothing.

We Christians, our will, is governed and controlled and bound to God for the Apostle Paul wrote "it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure" (Philippians 2:13).

Just as the original post shows richly in scripture, Adam was not imparted free will, and no man thereafter was imparted free will either.
Thank you Kermos

You are very insulting towards the Word of God by your use of the eastern religion word "mantra" to describe the Word of God that God has me proclaiming to you as we can see furthermore in the below.

Blindly written by you because in the very post to which you replied is the Word of God saying:
  • "this is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent" (Lord Jesus Christ, John 6:29), so God causes believers to believe in Jesus whom the Father has sent.
  • "you did not choose Me, but I chose you" (Lord Jesus Christ, John 15:16), so God chooses people to be friends (John 15:15 , the prior verse) and to believe (John 6:29) and to be born again (John 3:3-8) and for righteous works (John 3:21, John 15:5) and to repent (Matthew 11:25) and to love (John 13:34) and unto salvation (John 15:19).
  • "I chose you out of the world" (Lord Jesus Christ, John 15:19, includes salvation), so God chooses people unto salvation.
  • "What I say to you I say to all" (Lord Jesus Christ, Mark 13:37), so all the blessings of God mentioned above are to all believers in all time.

You just excluded yourself from being chosen as Christ's friend (John 15:15-19) according to your words.

In your very first paragraph, with the Word of God proclaimed right in front of you, you persisted in telling your leavened lie (Galatians 5:7-9) by your thoughts of "but nothing is scripture proclaims that any believer was chosen to be a believer." because as the posts to which you have replied shows Lord Jesus makes it entirely clear that His choosing disciples includes belief/faith with "you did not choose Me, but I chose you" (John 15:16) and "I chose you out of the world" (John 15:19, includes salvation).

See that Jesus mentions "world" in John 15:19 and Jesus explains that the "world" is opposed to the Kingdom of God in the intervening sayings between the above quotations of King Jesus with Jesus saying to all Jesus Christ's disciples in all time "If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you" (John 15:19); therefore, Lord Jesus chooses we disciples of Jesus out of the world that is under the wrath of God then King Jesus passionately places us under God's loving care within the Kingdom of God.

Thus says the LORD that the LORD exclusively selects persons unto salvation with "you did not choose Me, but I chose you" (John 15:16) and "I chose you out of the world" (John 15:19, includes salvation).

Just as the original post shows richly in scripture, Adam was not imparted free will, and no man thereafter was imparted free will either.
As I stated, 2000 years of Christianity in practice and theological understanding shows you are not speaking what the Bible means in the verses you cite. It speaks to the opposite view of who God is, and why God created man in the first place. If God was going to choose man for salvation, He would choose everyone. He loveth mankind. He desires that none perish.

For what, BeyondET?

In the meantime, let's return to the central theme of this thread which is man's will.

How clearer can I get, yes I have free will to shop what ever food I want in the grocery store, freely decide what kind of clothes to wear.

You emphatically declared your personal free will in your post, so your will is autonomous from God's will because your will is free (detached, disassociated, separate, unencumbered, disentangled, not dependent, not obligated, not indebted) with regard to God.

As I stated, 2000 years of Christianity in practice and theological understanding shows you are not speaking what the Bible means in the verses you cite.

Again, you lead off your post with your leavened lie (Galatians 5:7-9) because the Christ of us Christians says

These are the sayings of Him Who is the beginning of Christianity!

As shown in post 1,381, the Apostle John, the Apostle Peter, and the Apostle Paul declare that God is sovereignly in control. All these Apostles lived within the last 2,000 years.

NO SCRIPTURE STATES THAT MAN CAN CHOOSE JESUS, IN FACT, SCRIPTURE REVEALS THE EXACT OPPOSITE WITH "YOU DID NOT CHOOSE ME, BUT I CHOSE YOU" (John 15:16).

I'm now going to remind you of the delusional absurdity that you think:

First, being "born again" does not change man's will. It is free and independent from the will of God. Being Born Again, is man accepting the offer of God to repent and be baptized.

Your sayings are discord from Lord Jesus Christ's sayings!

You say that a person must accept by choosing to be "born", yet being born is something that a person cannot choose nor control nor acquiesce.

See that my Lord says "The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.'" (John 3:3-8) which means that no person has input regarding being born from above (born again) within His larger sayings of "Jesus answered and said to him, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.' Nicodemus said to Him, 'How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?' Jesus answered, 'Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not be amazed that I said to you, "You must be born again." The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.'" (John 3:3-8).

The Spirit of God goes where the Spirit of God goes according to God's sovereignty; however man has no control of the situation which is the Spirit of God causing a person to be born again.

You are dead wrong.

Just as the original post shows richly in scripture, Adam was not imparted free will, and no man thereafter was imparted free will either.

I don't disagree with the texts. I just disagree with your interpretation of them. I'll stick with what scripture has meant for 2000 years unchanged. I don't try to insert my opinion of what scripture means, or try to insert a theory and search for texts that might seem like they say what I want, whether in context or out of context. You theological understanding is also lacking.

If God was going to choose man for salvation, He would choose everyone. He loveth mankind. He desires that none perish.

Core to free-willian philosophy is that God loves everyone - all mankind; moreover, God desires that none perish - none among all mankind, yet some people perish - a population from among all mankind goes to hell.

Essentially, God is weak - God's desire is ineffective - God's love miserably fails to deliver some people according to free-willian philosophy.

NO SCRIPTURE STATES GOD LOVES ALL MANKIND.

Not a single one of God's chosen for salvation will perish for God is good and strong to secure God's own unto eternal life and love in Christ Jesus the Lord (2 Peter 3:9, 2 Peter 3:1, John 10:27-29, covered in post 1,292 to you).

Free-willian philosophy misrepresents who man is, and your thoughts distort who God is, according to your free-willian philosophy.

Just as the original post shows richly in scripture, Adam was not imparted free will, and no man thereafter was imparted free will either.

NO SCRIPTURE STATES GOD LOVES ALL MANKIND.
So, you believe that God who created this world, hates most of the people who He created in His Image. Yet, He was willing to die for this world to redeem it from the power of death and sin. I John 2:2, Heb 2:9 and many others.
God did not create man to be an object of manipulation but free to love God. God is love, love is not an action but part of His Essence.
Your view is an antithesis not just to God, God's purpose in creating man, but all of scripture.
Not a single one of God's chosen for salvation will perish for God is good and strong to secure God's own unto eternal life and love in Christ Jesus the Lord (2 Peter 3:9, 2 Peter 3:1, John 10:27-29, covered in post 1,292 to you).
Most of the NT speaks against your view. I have about 75 texts available that show that believers are admonished to be faithful, to keep the faith. These texts would be just fodder, meaningless within your view. So one needs to ask, Why does God admonish believers if it is God who controls their wills.
Here is just a sample for your edification: Matt 24:13; 24:25; 25:1-3; 25:14-30; 28:20, Mark 13:13, John 15:1-2, Acrts 20:28-31, I Cor 10:1-12, I Cor 15:1-2, Col 1:22-23, I Thess 3:8.

It speaks to the opposite view of who God is, and why God created man in the first place.

In this third installment examining your post (post 1,385/first installment and post 1,387/second installment), we look at "why God created man in the first place", and for this, we return to the original post in this thread.

God created man to bring glory to Jesus Christ. God created man for God's good pleasure. God created man as part of God's Plan of Redemption through the Christ for mankind before the foundation of the world. Scripture relating to this is in the original post, and the post shows that man was created without a free will.

No scripture states that man has the ability to free-will choose God.

The One True Sovereign God reigns in the affairs of man from generation to generation (Daniel 4:34-35), and this means God is unhindered by man's will, so God is in control.

The One True Sovereign God says "you did not choose Me, but I chose you" (John 15:16) and "I chose you out of the world" (John 15:19, includes salvation), so man is incapable of choosing God based on purported free will, but truly God is the exclusive Chooser of men unto salvation for people of every generation!

Thus says the Word of God!

"He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day" (John 12:48)

Your words quoted above demonstrate deception of the free-willian philosophy, a philosophy expoused by the self-willed (2 Peter 2:9-10).

Just as the original post shows richly in scripture, Adam was not imparted free will, and no man thereafter was imparted free will either.

You have a very long way to go to understand scripture in light of your OP and statements in this recent post. You need a serious study of Biblical theology. Your view has been refuted by scripture as it has always been understood from Apostolic times to the present. Your interpretation of the Gospel is foreign to scripture. One easy test of false doctrine is has it been believed from the beginning.
I can assure you that the Holy Spirit does not give 100's of meanings to the Gospel.
Your view is shared probably by very few, a modern view, maybe only you but has not been believed from the beginning.

For what, BeyondET?

In the meantime, let's return to the central theme of this thread which is man's will.

Cool, thank you but I'll pass have fun. :)

You most certainly do disagree with the Word of God, and this fact is demonstrable because you wrote about Jesus' recorded words in John 15:16 and John 15:19:

So, all believers are but by choice. This context is NOT about future believers, but speaking directly to twelve men ONLY.

Lord Jesus says "you did not choose Me, but I chose you" (John 15:16) and "I chose you out of the world" (John 15:19, includes salvation) with His plural "you" being wide open to include all His disciples in all time; in contrast, your heart's treasure (Matthew 15:18) adulterates His words into "you twelve men ONLY did not choose Me, but I chose you twelve men ONLY" (the word of Rightglory) and "I chose you twelve men ONLY out of the world" (the word of Rightglory) and "What I say to you I say to all" (the word of Rightglory striking out/subtracting), so you illegally constrain the "you". Thus you daringly and self-willingly (2 Peter 2:9-10) demote Christ's majestic words from being the Word of God into your words which are the traditions of men leading to worship in vain (Matthew 15:9); in other words, your heart's treasure is not the Word of God.

About 2,000 years ago, Christ spoke these precious words:

Christ's words define Christianity, even every moment of the 2,000 years you mention.

You do "insert <your> opinion of what scripture means" as is shown with your "you twelve men ONLY did not choose Me, but I chose you twelve men ONLY" (the word of Rightglory) above which is your leavening lie (Galatians 5:7-9). Anyone who says that he chose Jesus has opposed Jesus by uttering such a rejectful saying, as evidenced in Jesus' words.

The true Word of God says "you did not choose Me, but I chose you" (Lord Jesus Christ, John 15:16) and "I chose you out of the world" (John 15:19, includes salvation), so He describes His Sovereign Deity in exclusive control of the salvation of man - all believing this Truth (John 14:6) worship Jesus Christ the Lord in Spirit and Truth (John 4:23-24).

All believers in all time are utterly dependent upon the Word of God for being saved from the wrath of God by God's grace for God's glory!

Just as the original post shows richly in scripture, Adam was not imparted free will, and no man thereafter was imparted free will either.

Here are some early Church Fathers who disagree with you. Speaking of Ignatius, he might have been taught by Peter and Paul. He became Bishop of Antioch in 60 AD.

Ignatius (AD30-107)
"Seeing, then, all things have an end, and there is set before us life upon our observance [of God’s precepts], but death as the result of disobedience, and every one, according to the choice he makes, shall go to his own place, let us flee from death, and make choice of life. For I remark, that two different characters are found among men - the one true coin, the other spurious. The truly devout man is the right kind of coin, stamped by God Himself. The ungodly man, again, is false coin, unlawful, spurious, counterfeit, wrought not by God, but by the devil. I do not mean to say that there are two different human natures, but that there is one humanity, sometimes belonging to God, and sometimes to the devil. If any one is truly religious, he is a man of God; but if he is irreligious, he is a man of the devil, made such, not by nature, but by his own choice. The unbelieving bear the image of the prince of wickedness. The believing possess the image of their Prince, God the Father, and Jesus Christ, through whom, if we are not in readiness to die for the truth into His passion, His life is not in us."
(Ignatius, Epistle to the Magnesians, V)

This expression of our Lord, “How often would I have gathered thy children together, and thou wouldest not” (Matthew 23:37), set forth the ancient law of human liberty, because God made man a free agent from the beginning, possessing his own power, even as he does his own soul, to obey the behests of God voluntarily, and not by compulsion of God.

For there is no coercion with God, but a good will towards us is
present with Him continually. And therefore does He give good counsel to all. In man, as well as the angels, He has placed the power of choice…so that those who had yielded obedience might rightly possess the good, given indeed by God, but preserved by themselves. On, the other hand, they who have not obeyed, shall, with justice, be not found in possession of the good, and shall receive condign punishment: for God did kindly bestow on them what was good. St. Iranaeus, Against the Heresies, IV, 37, I

Barnabas (AD100)
"The Lord will judge the world without respect of persons. Each will receive as he has done: if he is righteous, his righteousness will precede him; if he is wicked, the reward of wickedness is before him. Take heed, lest resting at our ease, as those who are the called [of God], we should fall asleep in our sins, and the wicked prince, acquiring power over us, should thrust us away from the kingdom of the Lord. And all the more attend to this, my brethren, when ye reflect and behold, that after so great signs and wonders were wrought in Israel, they were thus [at length] abandoned. Let us beware lest we be found [fulfilling that saying], as it is written, “Many are called, but few are chosen.” (Epistle of Barnabas, IV)

Justin Martyr (AD 110-165)
"But lest some suppose, from what has been said by us, that we say that whatever happens, happens by a fatal necessity, because it is foretold as known beforehand, this too we explain. We have learned from the prophets, and we hold it to be true, that punishments, and chastisements, and good rewards, are rendered according to the merit of each man’s actions. Since if it be not so, but all things happen by fate, neither is anything at all in our own power. For if it be fated that this man, e.g., be good, and this other evil, neither is the former meritorious nor the latter to be blamed. And again, unless the human race have the power of avoiding evil and choosing good by free choice, they are not accountable for their actions, of whatever kind they be. But that it is by free choice they both walk uprightly and stumble, we thus demonstrate. We see the same man making a transition to opposite things. Now, if it had been fated that he were to be either good or bad, he could never have been capable of both the opposites, nor of so many transitions. But not even would some be good and others bad, since we thus make fate the cause of evil, and exhibit her as acting in opposition to herself; or that which has been already stated would seem to be true, that neither virtue nor vice is anything, but that things are only reckoned good or evil by opinion; which, as the true word shows, is the greatest impiety and wickedness. But this we assert is inevitable fate, that they who choose the good have worthy rewards, and they who choose the opposite have their merited awards. For not like other things, as trees and quadrupeds, which cannot act by choice, did God make man: for neither would he be worthy of reward or praise did he not of himself choose the good, but were created for this end; nor, if he were evil, would he be worthy of punishment, not being evil of himself, but being able to be nothing else than what he was made." (Justin, First Apology, XLIII)

So, you believe that God who created this world, hates most of the people who He created in His Image.

God creates every single person, even under free-willian philosophy.

Man Opening The Door To Salvation - The Free-willian Philosophy Explained

Free-willians think a person achieves salvation by doing the work of choosing Jesus, yet free-willians simultaneously think another person goes to hell in the absence of doing the work of choosing Jesus.

THEREFORE, a guy that chose Jesus saves the guy himself, yet a gal that did not choose Jesus condemns the gal herself.

SO, the guy saved himself because without his choosing of Jesus, then he'd be just like that gal.

POINTEDLY, the guy's salvation hinges solely on the guy's choosing Jesus because, in contrast to being saved, the guy would be hell-bound if that hinge of choosing Jesus did not swing open by the guy's power.

The "hinge" of the door mentioned above is based on free will philosophy.

Consider a third individual, who never heard the Gospel of Christ, such a person is not going to be with Christ in His Kingdom - even under free-willian philosophy.

In this example, the majority do not get into Heaven, so you need to be more careful of your posts.

On the other hand; we Christians hear the Master say "it is finished" (John 19:30), and in that moment we receive the love of God (John 3:16) bestowing undeserved forgiveness upon us wretched God-hating monsters (Ephesians 2:1-4) - that the Son sacrificed Himself to reconcile the world to Himself (2 Corinthians 5:19) for the glory of God (John 17:4-5).

We believe in Jesus whom the Father has sent, and we believe Lord Jesus' sayings that belief is the blessed work of God in us (John 6:28) - it is more than an awakening - it is an enlivening - it is being born again (John 3:3-8) - it is getting the new heart that God wondrously implants in us (Ezekiel 36:26).

We Christians know that God's merciful salvation hinges on Christ alone for the glory of God alone, and there is nothing we can do nor say - not even a human choice approving of Jesus in order to obtain saving grace - nothing we say or do earns the unearnable love of God. We believe that Being saved from the wrath of God is exclusively God choosing us, not us choosing God (John 15:16, John 15:19).

For Christians, it is "believing"; in contrast, for the guy saying "I chose to believe in Jesus", it is "choosing".

For us Christians, it all hinges on Christ alone, yet for the free-willians saying "I chose to believe in Jesus", it all hinges on the a free-willian's choice.

The free will philosophy is proven to be deception because "Behold, His servants, He does not trust" (Job 4:18), so God does not trust a person who chooses Jesus; therefore, a free-willian who says "I chose Jesus" is bound for hell.

Behold, the psalmist says he is entirely dependent upon the Almighty!

I will extol You, O YHWH, for You have lifted me up,
And have not let my enemies rejoice over me.
O YHWH my God,
I cried to You for help, and You healed me.
O YHWH, You have brought up my soul from Sheol;
You have kept me alive, that I would not go down to the pit.
(Psalm 30:1-3)

This is reply part 2 of 2.

Reply 2 of 2

As it is written, "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated" (Romans 9:13), and Paul preluded these words with "though the twins were not yet born and had not done anything good or bad, so that God’s purpose according to His choice would stand, not because of works but because of Him who calls" (Romans 9:11).

God is merciful and gracious to save any!

You failed to produce a single passage that God loves all mankind. You failed because your heart's treasure (Matthew 15:18) of your free-will choosing Jesus is part of the traditions of men resulting in worship in vain (Matthew 15:9).

Since the books of 1 John, Hebrews, 1 Corinthians, Colossians, and 1 Thessalonians (which you mentioned) are literally addressed to believers in the Assembly of God, then the context is specifically set to the Assembly of God. This means that the letters are not for the world because the people of the world cannot understand for the Word of God is foolishness to people of the world (1 Corinthians 2:14); therefore, as an example, you fail to understand that "world" in 1 John 2:2 is restricted to those presently unsaved people that become believers at some future time in their lives. This context in 1 John 2:2 is important and accurate, especially when the Word of God says "this is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He has sent" (Lord Jesus Christ, John 6:29) and "you did not choose Me, but I chose you" (Lord Jesus Christ, John 15:16) and "I chose you out of the world" (Lord Jesus Christ, John 15:19, includes salvation) and "What I say to you I say to all" (Lord Jesus Christ, Mark 13:37).

None of the passages you cite state that man manipulates belief in man's free-will because free-will is illusory according to the Apostle Paul (Philemon 1:14).

None of the NT books contain anything that agree with your thoughts that man can free-will choose Jesus.

In fact, all the NT books show that Jesus is faithful to strengthen and preserve the faith of all people who have the work of God causing faith in Jesus whom the Father has sent (John 6:29, 2 Timothy 2:13, Ephesians 2:8-10, 1 Corinthians 1:7-9, John 10:27-29). "You granted Him authority over all flesh, so that He may give eternal life to all those You have given Him" (Lord Jesus Christ, John 17:2).

Just as the original post shows richly in scripture, Adam was not imparted free will, and no man thereafter was imparted free will either.

Cool, thank you but I'll pass have fun. :)

You are unclear, there, so I proclaim, don't pass on the Word of God!

In a positive way, thank you.

Christians from the time of Jesus Christ believe in God's exclusive choosing of man unto salvation. The Apostle's writings testify to this Truth (John 14:6). Writings after the closure of the Biblical Canon also testify to this Truth (John 14:6).

You wrote "assure you". I assure you that your free-willian philosophy is foreign to the Gospel of Christ. Free-will is not in the meaning of the Gospel.

You write ludicrous things like "Your view is shared probably by very few, a modern view, maybe only you but has not been believed from the beginning", yet God's Sovereignty is eternal, this is not just "a modern view" and "not been believed from the beginning", so let's just look at some evidence.

"I blessed the Most High, and praised and honored him who lives forever, for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom endures from generation to generation; all the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him, 'What have you done?'" (Daniel 4:34-35)

King Nebuchadnezzar didn't miss a beat there expressing God's Sovereignty!

The Apostle Paul wrote:

"you were dead in your trespasses and sins, in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience. Among them we too all formerly lived in the lusts of our flesh, indulging the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, even as the rest, but God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ, by grace you have been saved, and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus"
(Ephesians 2:1-7)

Paul didn't miss a beat there declaring God's Sovereignty!

Dead men are incapable of choosing Jesus, so by God's grace God causes men to be born of God (John 3:3-8) thus God causes man to believe in Jesus (John 6:29, Ephesians 2:8-10) and God causes man to confess that Jesus is Lord (Romans 10:9).

My Lord Jesus tells us believers "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it" (Matthew 7:13-14).

So, your word usage of "few" is applicable, but your overall message is leavened (Galatians 5:7-9) by your deception that man sovereignly chooses Jesus unto salvation.

The One True Sovereign God exclusively controls the salvation of man, and the scripture in this post shows this Truth (John 14:6).

The Truth (John 14:6) is the Word of God, and the Christ's words reverberate these 2,000 years for Lord Jesus says:

Christ defines and makes us Christians.

You repeatedly do not receive Christ's sayings, and here is another of Christ's sayings "He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day" (John 12:48).

All believers in all time are utterly dependent upon the Word of God for being saved from the wrath of God by God's grace for God's glory!

Just as the original post shows richly in scripture, Adam was not imparted free will, and no man thereafter was imparted free will either.
