Inspite of all of her decisions and flaws...she was an awesome woman of God and it is God who will judge her choices in the end....I refuse to even contemplate making a judgment upon a woman who spent her entire life helping others. Something that we do not often see in today's modern society. Needless death and poverty already existed before she was planted in those places of need. just as Jesus himself said " the poor you will have with you always but you will not always have me Matthew 26:11.

Shalom!

I really don't know.... I understand she tried to do some humanity works and bring end to suffering for a lot of people.... For that, why condemn her? Did she know truth? Don't know. But I don't know of anything to throw at her. Why should I call her good or evil?

...and how many people have you clothed, fed or sheltered in your ministry Herose? James 2:15, 16, 17

I would rather not cloth, feed or shelter a single person if done in the wrong spirit.

And though I bestow all my goods to feed [the poor], and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. 1 Corinthians 13:3

God is Mother Teresa's judge, not me. However, a spiritual man seeks to discern all.

Doctrine will not save you. HS sanctifying love, practiced through service towards others changes your heart.

Sounds like the man who buried his talents......

What a great example of Christian love and charity. Even unbelievers recognise the goodness she did. If only we could all be more like Teresa...

I like her.... I see wrong in believing in false doctrine, and if she did, she's guilty. But she seemed to be one who tried to make things a little better. What's wrong with that?

Absolutely! If she was so wrong, why aren't we all demonstating greater godliness, charity and love? She is a lesson to all of us in these end-times of what we can do if our heart is in the right place. She was no academic or theologian. In the end, the message is about love. If our "accurate knowledge" lacks a pure love, we lack a pure faith... All of us have some errors... regardless of who is right or wrong; if I do not have love, I am nothing!

Do people think the same about Oprah, who did many good deeds but does not believe in Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour? Works cannot save.

Isaiah 64:6a

We are all infected and impure with sin.
When we display our righteous deeds,
they are nothing but filthy rags.

But they both tithed?! Who are we to judge if either of them are bad... They both did good works. This is becoming very judgmental. Oprah did good works for other motives. Teresa did good works for God. There is a huge difference, but we are not in a position to judge Teresa just because she was Catholic. Practically all Christians were Catholic between the 4th and 16th centuries.

What I am saying is that people are judging by a person's works whether or not they knew God. We can only hope that Theresa knew God, but only God knows and only He has judged.

Your joking? How do we know you "know" God?

Are you joking? Why must you turn everything around on the poster and make it a personal jab? If you were in India and able to observe her life for the fruit of the Spirit, then you could know more easily whether or not she knew Jesus Christ personally. If not, then you are in the same boat as the rest of us---we cannot know for certain. We have only her testimony to go by and there are holes in it.

There lies the difference. One tithed out of their want...the other out of their excess...both tithed but God knows the motive of every mans heart, good or bad...Let him then be the Judge..

Blessings!!!
