In answer to OP.......
Definitely NOT TODAY'S DEMS.

I remember when " Water-gate" caught Nixon and his statement " I AM NOT A CROOK".

BIDEN is so much more than a crook ! He is a bafoon of the lowest degree . He has committed sooooo many crimes as a political rat that ONLY GOD WILL BE ABLE TO JUDGE HIM OF THEM ALL, even if our justice system gets him. There are others as well. Nancy P's day is coming too, she can't live forever on earth.

Maybe God will save them?

Would MLK vote for Dems?

Rather doubtful. King was not working for Black Racism or Critical Race Theory. He simply wanted black Americans to be accepted as full citizens and not be discriminated against. But today Black Racism has replaced White Racism so we are back to square one. How is it that all the ads for products and services have recently replaced whites with blacks, and generally ignored Natives, Indians, Chinese, Japanese, and Koreans? They want "diversity" as long it is restricted to blacks. Well that is actually Black Racism.

Being racist is normal for all races. Humans are corrupt. That's one reason this world is dying!

I'm assuming Rev. King wouldn't vote democrat due to his conscientious over their anti-Christian values.

I have doubts that he would be able to gain notoriety in today's society. As people in those communities tend to hold democrat policy as sacrosanct. And he would become unpopular.

I've seen a black preacher who was publicly apologized to over white to black racism. But when confronted about reverse racism, and the need for forgiveness. The squirming he did to avoid that was disheartening. It showed that his community made him choose between God and their race card idol, and he chose the idol.

Racist is tribalism. Tribalism is very powerful social force. We get tribalism in every single group where schisms and
contentions, dissensions run rampant. Those things are works of the flesh and devilish. I have seen this inside churches. Some are innies and the others outies. People will actually despise others over many often ridiculous things. There was this one guy who was envious of an old boat I had simply cause he did not have one. then they compare themselves to one another, thinking about that guy, I am better and more blessed or they are jealous cause he has a nicer house and more money. I used to attend years ago a home church group which was very painful to be there. We only fit in with one other couple, and they made us know it. You could not relie on them for any help, they would be real scarce even though we helped them do many things. It really clicked for me when after helping all of them move into newer homes and work on their cars, when it came time for us to move, not one showed up. Even just a few years ago , I saw one of that former group leader and he was still mouthed off at me saying he remembered it all, as far as he was concerned we were the bad seed.

Galatians 5:19-21

19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: [a]adultery, [b]fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, [c]murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Yes, powerful and natural.

If you think of things in concentric circles, it is easy to apply tribalism all the way.
  1. Me and my family and friends
  2. Neighbors and employer
  3. City
  4. State
  5. Nation
  6. Earthlings
We are taught patriotism at an early age. And if an alien race were to visit to establish permanent relationships, we would tend to prioritize what is best for us humans of Earth over aliens from another world.
People will actually despise others over many often ridiculous things.
Including wearing a red ball cap or supporting a different sports team.

Probably. As MLKjr was not a Christian, he would probably not object to abortion (a fetus is not a person according to secular science).

Look up his stated views on:
  • the virgin birth
  • deity of Christ
  • resurrection
[HINT: He believed NONE of them to be true.]

I read about that too. He had beliefs not all consistent with being a saved believer. the guy has become an iconic symbol to the world.

This is surprising.

I'll change my assumption to him being swayed by the winds of false doctrine.

You would hope MLK would vote Republican in today's environment.

I don't think that he would vote for either party. I personally greatly admire black conservatives such as Ben Carson, Candace Owens, Shelby Steele, etc.; they have risen beyond the hive mind, group think mentality of their peers and embrace individualism and classical liberalism over identity politics.

I agree there are extreme Republicans, but you could argue that they've only become so in response to the drastic shift towards the left by the Democrats.

I think he would most likely agree with Tulsi Gabbard and Andrew Yang and simply become an independent. He would nod at Tulsi's speech that there is an erosion of a spiritual foundation in our nation, and bow his head in sorrow and shame.
