The bible spells out to simply renew them to repentance. So that doesn't appear to be supported by the bible.

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” (Galatians 6:7-8)

I believe you were insinuating that people that are born again cannot repent ever again? Did I get that wrong?

James 5:16 Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

It’s bizarre that you ask this question with scriptures like this so clear:

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” (Galatians 6:7-8)

Huh, I understand that scripture clearly. It means that we must become spiritual with the Holy Ghost to be saved. No problem. But we sin often and must be lead back by the Holy Ghost. Thus repenting with works meet for repentance after have turned from our errors.

If you “sin often” sir, WHAT TURN FROM ERROR ARE YOU MAKING???:IDK:
I'll give you a specific case. Which I've already told before, but here it goes again. We are told how to inherit life in the sheep and goats of Matthew 25:31-46 we must show love to others. But do we do that perfectly? We are told to be perfect as our Heavenly Father is perfect. But are we perfect or do we error often?

Example: There was a homeless man that came to my door and asked for some milk for his cereal. Sometimes I help the homeless and he remembered me. But his face was full of snot and I couldn't see getting my milk bottle near him so I turned him down. Now I'm poor and really don't have much food. But shortly after I turned him down, the Lord reached out to me and said "You couldn't give him a little milk". Later I got word that a homeless man was struck by a car and killed walking across the road up from my place. I have not seen that homeless man since and think it may have been his last meal.

Now it was a coherced sin. But still a lack of proper and Godly love. And we are commanded to love our neighbors. Little stuff like that is sin.

LOL! More of the same justification for judging others. Matthew 7:1, "Do not judge, so that you may not be judged."
Sorry jim . I am so sorry you been duped by progressive lies and falsehoods .
Your constant attacks are just like those who attack the true ones who enter into the churches
to bring correction . You would have attacked Christ and the apostels and seen them all as monsters .
I am so sorry you fell for progressive lies . BUT hold not thy breath waiting for me to fall for their lies .
GOD has the true lambs Jim and we wont be falling for progressive social all inclusive lies of a love that is false .
My soul weeps for you my friend . I desired and still desire only good for you . But progressivism
has made you to hate that which is holy and to love and embrace falsehoods .

Little stuff like that is sin.

And you shouldn’t do things like that.

“…Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?” (Matthew 25:37)

If you feared hell and God you wouldn’t do things like that.

Why did Jesus go to the cross. Is someone doomed to hell, if they sin. If someone did drugs or abused alcohol, and convert to christianity and repentance of sins to God, will they find forgiveness. Romans 6:20. For when ye were the servant of sin, ye were free from righteousness. 6:21. What fruit had ye then in those things where of ye are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death. 6:22. But now being made free from sin, and become servants of God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end of everlasting life. I'm not judging anyone. This forum is new converts. Faith is essential. Followed by obedience and repentance of sins to God. Some churches put people on guilt trip. Saying they committed the unpardonable sin. That's a disgrace. They even make second class citizens out of divorce people. Can a homosexuals find eternal life. I hope so. Did Jesus waste his life dying on cross??. If their willing to repent and convert to christianity. Someone who shop lifted, and stole much from stores. Did prison time. Is this person excluded from kingdom of God? What's the difference between habitual sinners and just sinners. Will the habitual sinners repent and conform to God's standard? If they refuse to repent, won't obey God, will the reprobates be in paradise?.
Anyone who sincerely repents of their sin receives forgiveness. Now, does that mean if an alcoholic or homosexual that is learning how to live a holy life slips up and indulges their desires becomes lost?

Does a father angrily swat his child when he falls down while learning to walk, or does he bend low to the child and wipe away his tears and encourage him to keep trying? So does our Heavenly Father.

Now, if that same child falls down and REFUSES to get up and learn to walk, demanding his father carry him around, will he ever learn? Likewise, if the sincere Christian "backslides" into sin and refuses to repent, presumptuously claiming that God's grace will cover his willful deficiency, he will surely split hell wide open.

And you don't sin? Because you are perfect like my father? So you're perfect then. What need have you of repentance? None? Repent of your daily sins @Michiah-Imla. That will make God happy!

Repent of your daily sins @Michiah-Imla.

The mocking of men slaves to sin. :hmhehm

Wonderful.

You should listen to the scriptures:

“Do you not know that to whom you yield yourselves as slaves for obedience, you are slaves to him whom you obey; whether it is of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness.” (Romans 6:16)

So:

“…if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.” (Hebrews 10:26-27)

You should be sorry, not only for this post but for all your judgmental, accusatory posts that judge and condemn everyone but yourself.

You are the one who attacks those believers and unbelievers who enter the churches looking for the truth and to be loved and accepted by Christians. You don't "correct", you hate with a vengeance, defying Christ's command to love your neighbor.

And I would not have "attacked Christ and the apostels [sic] and seen them all as monsters" because, unlike yourself, I believe in Him and His clear instruction to love others. Christ preached all inclusive love of all! "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke on you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and my load is not hard to carry.” Matthew 11:28-30 That is the exact opposite of your hate-filled message of exclusivity.

And stop your hypocritical words: "My soul weeps for you my friend . I desired and still desire only good for you . But progressivism has made you to hate that which is holy and to love and embrace falsehoods" You do not weep for me; your words say just the opposite. You judge and condemn that which you fail to understand: the truth taught by Jesus Christ. You love and embrace hatred and judgement of everyone, including other Christians who follow the command to love others as themselves.

The only righteous person in your eyes is yourself.

any sin can be forgiven except the sin you die in never accepting Jesus as savior

many people are 18 inches away from being saved . there is roughly 18 inches between the head and heart.

a young man i been talking to off and on. i asked him when he was coming to Church. eh said his life was all messed up since his G/F booted him out. no job no car . he told me he was trying get things right with God. but he couldn't feel him.

i told him it took Godly sorrow he asked what that was. my reply you will know it when its time. he was wanting God on his terms which will not work. repentance is all about turning from a Change with in. its a spiritual birth not a head birth

Why did Jesus go to the cross. Is someone doomed to hell, if they sin.
Like when King David sinned, the person must repent with godly sorrow to recaptured their Salvation. These are known as backsliders and can still come back to God if they are willing to serve God by forsaking their sins.

Proverbs 28
[13] He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

If someone did drugs or abused alcohol, and convert to christianity and repentance of sins to God, will they find forgiveness.
Yes, if it's true repentance to forsake their drugs and alcohol (all other sins too), and walk in God's holiness and righteousness.

Yes, Romans Chapter 6 is the receipt. Yield to God, and put the flesh down. Consistent prayer, fasting and living in the Word will keep one spiritually minded.

I'm not judging anyone. This forum is new converts. Faith is essential. Followed by obedience and repentance of sins to God.
Yes, judge not lest ye be judged. However, the new convert cannot fall into the trap of self pity by neglecting obedience and repentance of all sin.
Can a homosexuals find eternal life. I hope so.
Yes, if a homosexual forsakes his/her sins. Not just homosexuality, but all sin.
Someone who shop lifted, and stole much from stores. Did prison time. Is this person excluded from kingdom of God?
No, thieves can be forgiven too.

Ephesians 4
[28] Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Will the habitual sinners repent and conform to God's standard? If they refuse to repent, won't obey God, will the reprobates be in paradise?
No, reprobates will not inherit God's Kingdom. We all must repent and be converted that our sins may be blotted out.

Nonsense!

Any willful sin after conversion is unpardonable!

That’s called stomping on Christ, mocking God, and:

“…hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace…” (Hebrews 10:29)
Friend, I like your stance against sin, but you're wrong to assert that backsliders cannot return to God; they can just as King David did. His sins were adultery, murder and the cover up. While he did indeed suffer for his sins, God ultimately forgave him. Jesus even referred to Himself in the Book of Revelation as the root and offspring of David.

Revelation 22
[16] I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

David’s sins weren’t forgiven until Christ was crucified and he believed the gospel:

“…the gospel [was] preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.” (1 Peter 4:6)

You are in error to believe the “backsliding” ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED lie.

I do not believe in OSAS, but the Scriptures teach that a backslider can return to God if they repent with Godly sorrow. If the backslider refuses to forsake his/her sin(s), then that person will die in their iniquity and go to hell.

I absolutely agree with that Scripture. Moreover, those who walk in the flesh do not belong to Jesus.

Romans 8
[1] There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

[12] Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
[13] For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.

The Lord also hath put away thy sin; thou shalt not die

This was in regards to his flesh. Not spirit.

No one escapes spiritual consequences for sin without Christ’s blood atonement. NO ONE.

a backslider can return to God if they repent with Godly sorrow

That repentance will no longer be available to the backslider:

“For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.” (Hebrews 6:4-6)

Moreover, those who walk in the flesh do not belong to Jesus.

You most certainly can CHOOSE to return to the flesh’s will after getting born again.

Hence all the warnings against doing so!
