I think all public school classes and private meetings between students and staffs should be on video UNEDITED and all parents should have full access.

Very good idea! There's no reason they couldn't unless they have things to hide from parents. Why not also have all classes videoed, with Internet access, so parents could watch what goes on in their child's classroom at any time?
I certainly did not mean in restrooms. lolAn interesting idea. Im unsure about cameras being everywhere in schools because thats so invasive.
I think it's enough to be a good parent and be a presence in your child's life and their school life and let teachers know that they are being held accountable...
That is if you're not like me and intend to avoid public school for your kids altogether. Then, no need for cameras anyway.
Utterly disgraceful! Preying on children's minds! It would be interesting to see and hear the real life conversations of your own children in class in public schools that have questionnaires like the one below... Had been confirmed that this particular one was presented to year 12 health class students at Takapuna Grammar School, Auckland NZ.

Lol. I just know that most people don't like being filmed while working and prefer a basic level of trust from their bosses.I certainly did not mean in restrooms. lol
do we take the cameras into the toilets next?Very good idea! There's no reason they couldn't unless they have things to hide from parents.
If you had read post #6 you would have read:do we take the cameras into the toilets next?
Seem to me that the biggest creeps we have around our children at school are teaching the classes!Creeps with no vested interest in the school curriculum would watch videos of the school if they were publicly available. I think it only reasonable that parents or legal guardians be given access to recordings of classrooms where their children attend.
And if we entrust the recordings in the hands of the school administration, they would cover for the woke teachers, deleting the evidence.
Nether could you trust the teachers to record their lectures. They may "forget" to turn on their recording or microphone.
I think the only way is to have the wiretap laws amended in each state, if not already done, to clarify the legality of serepticous recording in the classroom.
To the extent that their child is present at the time. So that parents wouldn't be watching student/teacher meetings with other people's children.I think all public school classes and private meetings between students and staffs should be on video UNEDITED and all parents should have full access.

Livestream your child's classroom, yes, parents should be able to do that. Also staff meetings. Total transparency! Why not also have all classes videoed, with Internet access, so parents could watch what goes on in their child's classroom at any time?
For me this is because we already know what is being taught, but they try to hide it, and the hope that they wouldn't feel hidden any longer would prevent them from teaching what they are.Lol. I just know that most people don't like being filmed while working and prefer a basic level of trust from their bosses.
At the same time though, I really get why parents would want cameras installed. Maybe Im on the fence about this one.
Maybe a good middle ground is having cameras that randomly record at different intervals throughout the day for about 30 minutes?
I just know I don't trust public school teachers at large to not do insanely odd politicized stuff to educate my kids. Cameras would be just a half measure.
Well, in some schools, that's kinda what we're talking about!do we take the cameras into the toilets next?
Perfect!!Seem to me that the biggest creeps we have around our children at school are teaching the classes!
But, yes, you have a point. Here's a possible solution:
1. The access could be granted to parents via a login. (UserID & Password)
2. The cameras and microphones would not be accessable to teachers. They would be controlled by school admin (principal, etc.).
3. This wouldn't be a wiretap. It would be legal recording with everyone informed and signs up all over the place, letting everyone know
that their behavior is being recorded and they will be held responsible for any problems. Public schools are a public institution, paid
for by the tax payers. We believe in taxation with representation!
