I've heard this before. In times past it was called "The Holiness Movement" or "Keswick" theology. Today we call it "Star Wars" theology the idea that one must "use the force" (appropriate the Holy Spirit) to walk in holiness, without sin. It doesn't work and it never has.

I agree, we must be born again, IT IS THE ONLY WAY AND THE FIRST PART OF A RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD.

However some never seem to grow beyond a " born again" state but remain infantile in the faith, having to be coddled and carried about by other's beliefs & theologies.
Growth comes by submission to the Spirit in the walk of study & application of the word to our lives.
For someone to be in the faith for so many years as they claim, I count retarded, as bread in a proofer that fails to rise !
