a lot of folks no longer can discern something so simple .
How can bringing the pagan into any celebration HONOR GOD or the very CHRIST they claim to be honoring .
GOD rooted out of the land even the jews who did such a thing .
we can honor his birth without bringing the pagan into it

There is no denying that they did……Every celebration in Christendom is borrowed from paganism.
Why do you suppose that there isn’t a single one that Christians were commanded to observe?

And if you look closely for those who celebrate with a spiritual purpose:
