Why don't you believe Him?
You can stop asking me "why I don't believe Him", because I do believe Him. What I
don't believe is your doctrines taught by your religious cult that are based on twisting The Word of God. It's your
substituting of the Word of God with
lies that I don't believe.
Jesus I do believe:
John 10
27 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.
5
And they will not follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.
You are the stranger in the above parable. You are not Christ, and
you are not a shepherd of Christ's flock while you propagate the lies based on twisting the Word of God that the religious cult you adhere to propagates.
Jesus did not take the flesh of the Passover lamb and give that to His disciples. He took the unleavened bread, broke it, and gave it to His disciples saying "Take, eat, this is my body, given for you". Why?
It's because bread is a metaphor for the Word of God - one of the metaphors for the life of God imparted by Christ, the living Word:
John 1
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 He was in the beginning with God.
3 All things came into being through Him, and without Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being.
4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.
John 6
63 It is the Spirit that makes alive, the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and are life.
John 15
7 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you shall ask what you will, and it shall be done to you.
8 In this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit, so you shall be My disciples.
John 5
24 Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes on Him who sent Me has everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation, but has passed from death to life.
John 12
48 He who rejects Me and does not receive My words has one who judges him; the Word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
49 For I have not spoken of Myself, but the Father who sent Me gave Me a command, what I should say, and what I should speak.
50 And I know that His command is life everlasting. Therefore whatever I speak, even as the Father said to Me, so I speak.
John 6
33 For the bread of God is He who comes down from Heaven and gives life to the world.
34 Then they said to him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.
35 And Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes on Me shall never thirst.
Jesus is the Word of God and is called the water of life, the bread of life, the light of the world (metaphors).
He gave His life, His body for us, bearing our sin in His own body on the cross, shedding His blood, and dying. And He gave the unleavened bread to symbolize this fact.
He said, "unless you eat my flesh.." Then He said, "It is the Spirit that makes alive, the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit and are life."
Afterward He took unleavened bread, broke it, and gave it to His disciples saying, "This is my body.."
The unleavened bread represents His body. Jesus did not cut a piece of His flesh out of his thigh and give it to them to eat. Nor did He take the flesh of the Passover lamb and give it to them to represent His flesh.
You say He was talking about actually eating His actual flesh, though He Himself made it 100% abundantly clear long before that, and immediately after that as to what He meant - and He was not talking about actually eating His flesh.
But it was a test. And those who turned aside and followed Him no more that day failed. You fail too, because you follow the man-made religious cult based on men twisting His words.
You believe in the things you have substituted for the light, the truth, the Word of God.
So you can stop asking me "why I don't believe Him", because I do believe Him.
And before you accuse me of getting personal or making a personal attack, consider both the personal attack you repeatedly made now against me by falsely accusing me of not believing Jesus, and implying that I'm not part of the bride of Christ merely because I don't believe your twisting of the Word of God, and consider the spirit behind your false accusations who I am replying to, because your words when you falsely accuse me of not believing Jesus are not prompted by the Spirit of Christ, but by the spirit behind your false doctrine.
You can continue to defend your substitution for the Word of God all you like. You can continue to convince yourself that you believe Jesus. But the rest of us who do not follow the religious cult you follow know His voice, the voice of the Good Shepherd. We do not hear your voice. You may think that with your voice you can shout louder than the still, small voice of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, but you bluff yourself. His voice will always remain infinitely more powerful than yours.
All the signs of your substitution for the Word of God (the truth and the light) are there in your cult:
Your substitution of Mary for the one and only Mediator between God and man - the man Christ Jesus; your substitution of the vile doctrine of the bread wafer turning into the actual flesh of Christ for the pure symbol of the unleavened bread; your substitution of the worship and veneration of Christ and God the Father alone for all the idolatrous images and statues of Mary, patron saints and other deceased people that you teach people to pray to.
The signs of the harlotry of Rome's pride are all there and scream out loud.
