Jiggyfly,
Again you have no idea of which law is being spoken of, as you do not understand the Old testament nor the laws contained there in, The law here is the Sacrifical Law which was given because of the Children of Israel's apostacy from being in Egypt for 430 years. The first 30 were under the influence of Joseph as sub-ruler of Egypt. The last 400 were under the influence of the pagan beliefs of Egypt and God instituted the Sacrifical Laws so Israel would have a way of being recognsiled back to God. Without it they would not have any way to return to God's ways. Please read the whole Old Testament from end to end many times until you understand which laws were for what. The Moral Law was instituted from the beginning and will be still in effect after this world is gone as will the Ceremonial Laws. Many scriptures say this very thing over and over again. humble servant of the Lord God Most High

You can make up all the stories you want but it doesn't change what the scriptures state. I have read and studied the scriptures but it doesn't take a scholar to see that you ignore much of the old testament and most of the new testament. The things you propagate are opposed to what Christ did at the cross and against the new covenant gospel. By your statements here on this forum you seem to be the kind of people that stumble on the rock and try to cause others to stumble as well. You preach the law without mention of the cross. Please read the whole new testament, maybe then you will understand the cross of Christ and stop preaching against it!

Oh and one more thing God Bless America!!!!!

Jiggyfly,
You are just the kind of Christian who has caused the Church to fall from Grace. Please find the source for your pagan doctrine and back it up with scripture stating exactly your doctrine word for word and for good measure show where it is stated exactly the same in other scriptures, if you are able to do that I will listen to your argument, but until you can prove your doctrine in scripture in context with all other scripture I will keep telling all here your doctrine is false.

14 For Christ himself has brought peace to us. He united Jews and Gentiles into one people when, in his own body on the cross, he broke down the wall of hostility that separated us.15 He did this by ending the system of law with its commandments and regulations. He made peace between Jews and Gentiles by creating in himself one new people from the two groups.16 Together as one body, Christ reconciled both groups to God by means of his death on the cross, and our hostility toward each other was put to death.

juggyfly,
Yes, you did it again, you found where He fulfilled the Sacrifical Law, now where is your support for your false doctrine. I do not see any of it here, so where is it stated clearly and in context with all other scripture?

Where does it say that He only fulfilled the sacrificial law, where in scripture do you se it clearly separates the law into segments as you say?

The scripture posted states that Christ ended the system of the law.

Jiggyfly,
Exodus is probably the first time that the laws of God were written down as before then they were verbal laws. The Moral Law was the first law given to the Children of Israel as it is the most important and the word Remember signifies that it was not the first time that the Moral Law was given to us. In it the worship of God was given and the honoring of others as your self was also given. Christ summed them up in His two references, one for worship of the Father and the other for your treatment of your fellow man. The Ceremonial Law started as the sacrifice of two animals by God to provide coverings for Adam and Eve. It was carried on by the sacrifices by Able and Cain, when the sacrifice of an animal by Able was accepted and that of the fruit of the land was not accepted from Cain. Yes this is not spelled out exactly for you,but Genesis covers over 3,000 years and in a small book as compared to all of the rest of scripture, which covers less than 3,000 years.
Since we are on the subject of the law, please tell me why none of you have tried to collect the reward for any proof that first day worship is of God and not man? It has to be definative and repeated several times in the same language as we are hard of heart and dull of hearing, thus God repeates Himself many times so that we might get His message and follow it. Money has been shown to be the best motivator and since the reward is $1,000,000.00 I would expect that if there were any proof you would have tried to collect it. If this much money is not enough, then how much will it take for you to research the subject and finally resolve it for your self? If you find there is no evidence to support your claim, then it is a false claim and you need to admit that you were wrong to God and repent, plus find a new Church that does keep the Sabbath's of God and not the tradition's of man, as given to you by the Catholic Church.
Jesus in Matthew plainly states that He did not change even one tittle, nor jot, which are the smallest of punctuation in the Hebrew language, but that He fulfilled the law. The tearing of the veil signifies which of the laws He fulfilled as it was the separation between the holy and most holy of the apartments in the sacrifical system. Since He is called the sacrifical Lamb and has accepted your sins upon Himself, how can any have any doubt as to what His part in the plan of salvation is? He became sin for all of us, even though he never did sin, thus He fulfilled your part in the Sacrifical Law. There is no evidence to back up any of the other laws being fulfilled in scripture and no proof that any of the other laws being done away with, because He would then be a liar and we all know that he is not a liar, as that would be sin. The end of the sacrifical laws was prophisied severa times in scripture long before it came into effect. In the book of Daniel in the 70 weeks of years it was the middle of the week when the Savior died and the veil was torn and the end of that week of years was when Stephen was stoned.

The Ceremonial law originated in Genesis 1:14 when God gave us the sun and moon to allow us to know when to celebrate His Festivals and Sabbath's. The first Sabbath was celebrated by God on the seventh day when He rested from His work, Genesis 2:2. The first sacrifice of an animal was by God to furnish coverings for Adam and Eve, Genesis 3:21. Cain and Able made sacrifices per the Ceremonial Law in Genesis 4:3-6. I am still not at my computer so you will need to look up these scriptures. God decided to destroy the world in genesis 6:5-7 because of their wickedness, but why did God make this decision if there were no rules to live by? God would not have done this without a chance for those being destroyed having a chance for redemption, but how could they repent from their acts if there were no rules that they had broken? There had to be some law that they had ignored, the Moral Law and the Ceremonial Law were given to them and they ignored them, so God in His wisdom decided to start again with one family who had kept His Commandments. Noah offered peace offerings to God upon his departing the ark, Genesis 8:20-22. This offering is of the Ceremonial Law. I have given you examples of the Ceremonial Law and if there were no Moral Law God would not have punished people for not keeping it by causing the flood. No law no guilt, no sin! So, now where are the proofs that will stand up in a court of law proving the first day is the day of worship, so you can collect on the reward?
Matthew 5:17-18 Christ tells all that He did not do away with any of the laws afore mentioned. Matthew 27:45-46 Christ gives up the Holy Spirit and says" My God, My God, why has thou forsaken me." He felt the virtue depart from Him when He cried these words. 45 is the prelude to the death of the Sacrifical Lamb, for the sins of the world. 50 is the event of His giving up of the Spirit. 27:51-53 are the after effects of the death of the Sacrifical Lamb, the tearing of the veil, no light matter in its self as this veil was very thick and to tear it would have taken supernatural strength. This was the fulfilling of the Sacrifical Law by the Sacrifical Lamb, once for all, the perfect sacrifice. No proof exists for the termination of any of the laws of God.

Get back to your computer and post the scriptures that clearly state your opinion(s). I would like to see clear scriptural support without without all the conjecture if possible.

jiggyfly, I hope that you have your own Bible and can look up the scriptures listed in my post, I use the King James Bible, but also use a concordance and interlinary, when in doubt of the scripture being in context. I do not feel like making the trip into town as it takes up time and fuel, which I do not need to waste. I have work to do here and wasting time is not on the agenda today.
Your faith can not save you and your works will not save you eithor as all of our works have no saving Grace in them. Salvation comes from the Lord and is given by Him as a reward for doing His will and keeping His Commandments. Your Faith is the reason for your works and without both of them working in concert neithor of them has any usefulness.
What are His Commandments that He will reward you for keeping, you ask? First day worship is not one of His commandments as there is no place in scripture where He deviated from the Sabbaths given in Exodus. Christmas is not one of them as there is no place in scripture where He commanded you to keep a holiday, but you are commanded to keep His Holy Days and by the way He was not born in December. Easter is not one of His commandments, but is a pagan substitute for Passover, which is Commanded by Him. Making God a trinity is not part of His Cammandments, eithor as His words prove this to be true, in Genesis 1:2 the Spirit of God, in this case the Spirit of the Creator Yeshshua or Jesus is said to move over the face of the waters. Not the holy ghost, but the Spirit of God and in John Christ tells us in 14:10 He tells us He is in the Father and the Father is in Him, plus the words are of the Father as well as the works done by Him. The Father is Spirit. In 14:16 Christ will pray to the Father to send a Comforter and in 14:18 He tells us He will not leave us comfortless, but will come to us. So who is the Comforter, in this scripture? It can be no less than the Ceator of the world, Christs Spirit. How much clearer can it be to us, that the Holy Spirit is not a separate entity, but Christ Himself, in fact. The problem with a negative is there is no evidence to prove it, thus no proof for Christian paganized Doctrine, however there is evidence for The Sabbath's of God and the the Laws of God. Thus far jiggyfly has produced no proof for any of the supposed Christian Doctrine, but if you read the scriptures listed you will see proof for the Doctrine of God. humble servant of the Lord God Most High
