Amen sister.How can any of us hear God, via his Spirit.......without being regenerated first?
Even God himself says, without the Spirit we are none of his?
How can we hear him without him bringing our spirit Alive ?

Listen to the worm calling the snail calling slimy.It's like don't know what the scripture actually says, and don't want to know if it doesn't live up with a personal preconceived message.
Not so fast sir, not so fast! Another subject for another day. God is not the author of confusion in giving so many different versions of his word. I'll stop with that statement keep from hijacking the thread.Yeah, most versions are saying the same thing, except for the MSG version, which I find bizarre.
Please give book and scripture~Would you like to start with Romans 3:10-18My bible tells me that anyone who desires to come to the Lord can do so. No hell bound robots.
I don't know you or anything about you. If you are any part of an organizational decision, I want no part of the organization.Nope not at all. That board has a statement of faith maybe similar to a church. nuff said.
Remember the bible tells us that in the latter days many false teachers will arise. I think we need to be on guard against that. Now whether you think that should be a personal decision or an organizational decuision is up to you.
Now why wouldn't I be surprised to find that you think the KJV is the Authoritative Bible. It isn't of course because it contains errors just as all the others do.For the English people speaking of this world~KJV
Red, you know I love you as a brother in Christ, but now you are just being funny. John the Baptist taught that water baptism was for the forgiveness of sins. And so did Peter, Paul and all the rest of the apostles who spoke of it. You deny that and probably will to you last dying breath.Jim, I'm neither a Calvinist in the true sense of Calvinism, and certainly not of the Reformed community. Truth has never been Reformed, or needed to be so. I'm an old line Baptist from John the Baptist in that we teach water baptism in the same sense that John, Paul and other apostles taught. They also were Calvinist in the sense in which you fight Calvinism,~that is.... the doctrine of unconditional salvation through the faith and obedience of Jesus Christ ~ the surety of God's elect.
Yes, the first time for everyone who has ever been born when God formed the spirit in him. The second time [born again] for those who believed in God.Spirit gives birth to spirit?
In a nutshell....” NO”..we must be “ Born ..............” Again “ ...........of the Spirit.” Spiritual Birth”.Yes, the first time for everyone who has ever been born when God formed the spirit in him. The second time [born again] for those who believed in God.
John the Baptist taught that water baptism was for the forgiveness of sins
We aren’t in the flesh were in the Spirit..In Christ you cannot sin, but when you slip into the flesh, you can do nothing but sin. And as long as you are a human being, there will be times you fall short!
But fear not! Jesus paid for all your sins and God the Father is free to love you, even if you are disobedient from time to time. Just like a parent when their chiold disobeys, the disobedient one is still their beloved child!
In a nutshell....” NO”..we must be “ Born ..............” Again “ ...........of the Spirit.” Spiritual Birth”.
A Born Again doesn’t need to study that they are “ Born Again “ ...that is a spiritual act of God, who like the wind can turn up at any time.You should do a study and see what the New Testament says about being water baptized.
Jesus said "He that believeth and are baptized shall be saved" Mark 16:16
Being disobedient to the Lord ends badly...
The wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience. Colossians 3:6
Take note then.2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
So called once saved always saved... is false doctrine.
If it were not possible to fall away, the Word of the Lord would not be saying some would depart from the faith...
1 Timothy 4:1,2
Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron
("depart from the faith" is not referring to sinners in the world who never came to faith in the first place)
2 Timothy 4:3,4
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine (teaching); but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
Good morning Jim, trust all is going well with you~Jim, you are getting old ( well, we both are, but you are getting close to ninety ) and your memory, while still in tact, is fading...... ;)You have yet in all these years given me even one example where it claims that Jesus had or needed faith. As I have said so many times, the very idea that Jesus had or needed faith in God is ludicrous to the point of being an oxymoron.
1st Timothy 6:14-16~"That thou keep this commandment without spot, unrebukeable, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ: Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen."
Big Boy~I prefer once loved, always loved ~ is truly scriptural teaching.So called once saved always saved... is false doctrine.
