I know what the dictonary defines words as. And they are changing the definitions daily to fit the culture of the times.
Depends on who has the power of the pen over definitions.
The word F*** used today, most oftenly has absolutely nothing to do with the act of fornication.
Why don't you get a F'ing job? Doesn't mean go out and prostitute yourself.
Today's definition is one of emphasis as stated in another post.
In today's society the F word and many other "vulgar" words are just part of the language, their meanings are meaningless.
You can take offence to them, a lot of people do. It's OFFENSIVE, it's supposed to be.
Yo'baby, you my bit**. Now we know the definition of Bitch is a female dog. In the sentence I gave, it's actually used as an adoration, even though we find it very offensive.
The language we have today is anything but pure. We say things we don't mean, and don't mean things we say.
It has nothing to do with the formation of the letters, it's the intention behind the word that matters.
And today's intentions look nothing like any dictionary that we are familiar with.
However, there are now new dictionaries being written everyday that has every "vulgar" word in them, and the way they are defined today.
Watch the transition happen before your very eyes:
Stay Woke
The new sense of 'woke' is gaining popularity
Update: This word was added in September 2017.
If you frequent social media, you may well have seen posts or tweets about current events that are tagged #staywoke.
Woke is a slang term that is easing into the mainstream from some varieties of a dialect called African American Vernacular English (sometimes called AAVE). In AAVE,
awake is often rendered as
woke, as in, “I was sleeping, but now I’m woke.”

We can play word salad all day. But the truth is the meanings of the words themselves have changed.
I understand nastalgia and wanting to live in a world that's gone by, but it's time to face reality, and here we are.
I can't understand half the things this generation talks about, because I don't understand the language.
The only way to communicate is to learn it. And put the nastalgia behind you.
The world is changing, the same way we don't say, Thee and Thou and Thy. I have to find interpretations for biblical words because we don't use them anymore. And I seek to learn them. You have to back and forth in order to be able to communicate and understand the world around you.
We all like our own little bubbles, I get it. But if you feel you need to approach someone and tell them something you feel is important, then you can't speak chinese to an italian. You can't speak Russian to an American, unless they understand the language.
And today's language is changing faster than you can blink an eye.
