There is no point to rapture because it doesn’t exist. This is what happened to Gods people during the great tribulation.
Isa 26:20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
the GT has not occurred
We are very close now to it!
Isaiah 26:20 is for His Second Coming
WOW
Back to Bible Basics for you my Brother in Christ!
as are these with NO PROOF:
pre-trib rapture
worship/praying to Mary
Mary's ascention to heaven
Sanctified Saints "left behing" at His Coming
That's right, it's called faith.
Only 'faith' in God's Word is validated before the LORD.
Faith in any other voice that is contrary to the words of God and the LORD Jesus Christ is cast out.
No. It’s faith in the death burial and resurrection which is the gospel. This also can include his ascension and return.Only 'faith' in God's Word is validated before the LORD.
Faith in any other voice that is contrary to the words of God and the LORD Jesus Christ is cast out.
I don’t think you would be able to have any authority for the ability to correct me, though right? We do not judge 'people' but we do examine their words against the words of God/Truth.
P.S. = God is not "fine" with "whatever a person believes" = SEE Genesis chapter 3
Matthew, Have a blessed weekend in the Word of God
I’ve heard this before. It must be a commonly taught concept in church. I would totally be in the disagreement area about it. You see because Jesus only spoke of one time, of a time that would never be again. That’s fine though, thank you for sharing me what you do believe concerning it.TWO-FOLD Prophecy my friend.
Shalom
The problem with that is it was a one time even never to be so great ever again.I dont think it's a faith problem. I think it's a belief problem.
You dont believe that Jesus loves you enough to take you out of the worst tribulation the world has ever seen!
Lord, help our Unbelief.
The problem with that is it was a one time even never to be so great ever again. View attachment 49693 So I don’t know what to say. Other than ask the question…
Were the living breathing people in that day lied too?
Some will say double prophecy that’s fine too, it must be a concept taught in some denominations I do not accept it personally, but that is my decision.
I’ve spoken to a life breathing person face to face at a restaurant about this. We disagreed with each other, but he believed in a double prophecy…
I’m someone who believer all prophecy have been fulfilled. He was not. We still believed in the risen Christ Jesus by Yahavahs Holy Spirit.
Do you think this future great tribulation will be worse than the tribulation that happened around the crucifixtion?Exactly. Because they were Raptured out before the GT.
There is no point to rapture because it doesn’t exist.
Do you think this future great tribulation will be worse than the tribulation that happened around the crucifixtion?
Yes you can call it “caught up”, “snatched away”, “harpazoed” or “raptured” all of those terms are talking about taking believers out of this world and into heaven. I do not say that this doesn’t happen in fact I know it happens. If that is true, can you help me unpack this verse because it sees to create a contradiction at that point. If no rapture exists...what was Paul talking about here?
1 Thessalonians 4:17
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord..../KJV
If you go to Blueletterbible.org, and online concordance, the phrase "caught up" means to snatch away and seize, or in the Latin Vulgate it is translated as...Rapture.
How can this be brother? I cant see where scripture says Rapture doesnt exist, and it seems to say there is in this passage.
Help a Brother out here! What's that mean?
Okay.I'm not really sure what you're asking me there? We dont see eye to eye on this so its hard for me to follow your train of thought.
Yes. Because Jesus said it will be worse than anything the earth has ever seen before nor will again in the future...
I looked up "ever seen before" in Greek, and in Greek, it means "ever seen before". :)
Are you aware that dead people come up from their graves and lay on the ground for three days and then stood to their feet and walked the streets of Jerusalem when Jesus rose from the dead?Yes. Because Jesus said it will be worse than anything the earth has ever seen before nor will again in the future...

Yes, "coming to Earth" and "coming forth from the grave" are close - but close is for hand grenades and horseshoes. What's identical is "coming to Earth" and "coming to Earth again".The first coming was Jesus coming in human flesh.
The second coming was Jesus coming back from the grave in all power and glory and in his glorified body.
When Jesus died on the cross the place was prepared. No?Yes, "coming to Earth" and "coming forth from the grave" are close - but close is for hand grenades and horseshoes. What's identical is "coming to Earth" and "coming to Earth again".
But, here's why we know the Second Coming refers to the resurrection:
Jesus promised to "come again" after He'd prepared a "place" for us - which "place" hadn't even yet gotten under construction resurrection morning, nor for at least another 40 days.
Amen, which means the resurrection isn't the Second Coming. There ABSOLUTELY Was and Is and Is to Come....................
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
“Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen
Amen, which means the resurrection isn't the Second Coming.
