Do we still need a "church"?

Reaching out/fellowship with my groups,

For me this addresses that need. Church doesn't have to be big, or formal, I just think we need to get together in groups. Sharing a meal, just "hanging out", corporate prayers, corporate worship, teaching and other ministries, what some would call "one another-ing".

The closer I get to Christ Jesus, the more of an enemy I have become at "churches."

I read the Bible, I pray and hear from God all day long everyday, I having been teaching two Bible Study classes (1 for high school girls and 1 for adult woman) for over 5 years, and I used to lead youth Bible study at a baptist church 3 times a week for 10 years.

I don't ever tell someone not to go to church or be involved. what I want is churches to teach the Bible, call out sin, make disciples, and point everyone to Christ Jesus. The problem I see is that most churches are teaching how to live (application) but obedience without true believe/trust/faith/love of God is leading to them to hell. This is why people are falling away, church attendance is not ever going to save you. Yes being in a church can be good but that is not what a relationship with God is supposed to me. Why do you think God allowed the temple to be destroyed, Jesus says in John 4:23 "but the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship The Father in spirit and truth, for The Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth"

I listen to sermons/Bible teachings and only listen to worship music. I give, serve, teach and preach and I continue to mentor and counsel people and I don't take a penny from anyone. I don't owe you any explanation but stop assuming that I don't have a relationship with God. My whole life is centered on Him. I miss the mark but my works don't and won't save me, only His work saves.

If you are talking about the Apostles and Jewish-Christians, they went to the Temple to worship and sacrifice animals. You could not go to the Temple and refuse to sacrifice animals….they would kick you out or kill you.

If you are talking about the Apostle Paul and his disciples the Gentile-Christians they did to, to some degree but their ministry was to the Gentiles.

Is this one thousand and two reasons for not going to church? As far as the church saving you. The church does not save you nor does your Lazy Boy. But churches have lead millions and millions to salvation and did you get Baptized in your tub?

To hear you guys talk about it I would have to say you have some weird churches in your areas….but I do not believe it, I have been to several churches from here to the east coast and five countries and I have only ran into a few weird churches.

And if you read the Bible at home, it would tell you to go to church and if you knew Christian history you know that going to church is the right thing to do. This is my problem with the church of ones, there is no telling what they believe.

And if you read the Bible you would know that going to church is not works….and if you read the Bible you would know what “works” are. Wrong thinking….do you think Baptism is works?

My whole life is centered on Him. How can that be and not do what the Bible tells you to do? Can you come up with a percentage of the Bible you obey….A percentage of a Christian that you are?

What do you call your belief...“Do what you want Christianiy” When you are Baptized you should be filled with the Holy Spirit….Do you think the Holy Spirit told you not to go to church?

So, if you are trying to get more members, and yet the "2nd" reason you gave for leaving 2 Churches is because they were also trying to get more members.......... then how is it that they are wrong and you are not just like them?

the focus was more members without true discipleship. They want number of attendance to go up which then they can boost about.

In that case, you can't see them the same.

Its also true that most mainline denominations...... have a policy of "membership Growth".. and this is a heavy crown on the Pastor, as those running the denominations are esteeming it this way........>"if God is using you, then there will be yearly church Growth".
So, in that case, and that is most mainline denominations..........that is a lot of pressure on the Local Church Leadership, and sometimes this becomes obsessive, as they want to prove they are the real deal.

But the fact is ...the more sound doctrine you know and you preach.. the smaller is your group, as most can't handle it.
They want "feel good" religion... so, that will preach to about 20,000 every Sunday.

God understands that we need money.......we need prosperity.....we need more then enough for our family and ourselves, so that our overflow can be given to those who are needy.

"Poverty is the destruction of the Poor".... Proverbs 10:15...so being very poor is not a blessing, its a curse.
Now can it be that a person takes a vow of poverty...?
Sure, but that is like Paul teaching that its better to never marry......

Consider that God wants us to Tithe and give to the poor......so, God understand we need money to give it away.
How can you give money to your church, or to your neighbor or to the poor, if you are broke?, and God says to GIVE.

Now the issue with the idea of Prosperity...as a Sermon, or prosperity teaching..........is that its often found in the mouth of a greedy carnal preacher, or a fake Christian teacher.
Some of them who are saved... are actually crazy.......they believe that if they lead people to believe that by giving into their ministry.........with the promise of prosperity returned.......then these poor people, these needy and desparate people.....will give and so the minister gets rich, and thinks....>>"This is God" "God is blessisng me".
So, that is their greedy insanity, that is their theological issue, that is driven by their greedy black heart.
And also, if the minister is mostly going to preach the money message..... then this creates greed, and lust for money, in their listeners.
Thats a terrible situaiton.

So, we see that all of that is not of God......whereas, Prosperity is of God.

A real Pastor or Minister, will never have an imbalance of "mostly money messages"......as they will only have this as one of their teachings.......but not just the main one.
Keep your eye on that, Reader.

But we better know and understand so is that progressive liberal led realm
and its social justice
We just gonna have to bible up for ourselves and exhort one another daily WITH THE PURE TRUTH .

This sheep shall stick to the BIBLE and TRUST IN GOD for learning . I seen what loads of them do .

Oh I sure was led out of the bad churches . But dont you worry about me .
THE GOOD LORD knew i needed others . HE has some of us together already .
With daily bible reads and prayers and etc . And man is it lovely .
I dont have to watch men twist scrips and twist things and preach a love that IS NOT OF GOD .
I do pray for them though . I dont desire their death . But to me their doctrine and their version of love
IS DEATH and boy do it stink to these nostrils , AS IT IS AN AFFRONT TO THE HOLY GOD that their love
and their so called unity and etc HAS blasphemed to HIS FACE . I WONT SIT WITH THAT . I Expose it
but i dont sit under it or with it . Hope that encourages you greatly .

IF we KNOW anything is false we must expose it
and that darn sure includes wolves in wool .
Always remember it is not the one who warns one to repent
that is condmening
ITS THE ONE WHO wont repent that condmens him or herself .
IF we know SOMETHING is sin , is error , is false
IF we know folks who teach such things , ITS ALL got to be exposed as we desire not the death of any

Beware of covetousness
for a mans LIFE consists not in the ABUDANCE of what HE possess . JESUS , a long time ago .
GOD has come to give thee the abundant life , GET that money , the false prosperity preachers
WHO I KNOW FULL WELL are COVETOUS and that those who sit under them
desire TO BE AS they are and get that money .
I seen some of them go so far as to say

HIS church would have emptied out and NOT CHEERED .
