I never seem to see unless you're clicking like on Jane's posts or replying to her or for her.
as you know, Jane shuns me, for knowing what Jws teach and exposing it, it's good that this account doesn't. I do not see a reply to what I have repeatedly asked Jane. Why is that? JWs must always be the questioners. LOL

JWs claim they do not belong to Jesus, are not born of God, are not in the new covenant, are not spiritual sons of God, Jesus is not your mediator, Jesus' blood doesn't cover your sins, refuse partaking of Jesus' body and blood, ETC ETC ETC
Yet, JWs come here to teach others that we must be like you. How can we take that seriously? You want us to also reject the Lord's invitation like you do? You want us to disobey our Father in heaven? Three tasks are given to EVERY person.

Constantly recite scriptures (Meaning know them from memory)
Meditate on scriptures....think about the requirements of God. Understand what scriptures intend for us to understand.

Perform the requirements of God.
Just because we are under the New Covenant doesn't mean that we have nothing to do.

Then, when that serpent comes along to suggest something wrong to do...we can instantly recognize it as something wrong. No matter how excitedly happy those around us may be or believe it to be right and good. It's still wickedness being promoted.

The Apostle Paul tells us in Gal. 1:8 "But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed."

This verse advises us not to accept teachings from an elder just because they have been around for a long time. Anyone can make mistakes, so we must always be careful and test teachings against the Word of God (1 John 4:1). Even Paul, an apostle, warned about this! We shouldn't accept a doctrine just because of the person's position. While only Judas fell among the apostles, Paul still gave this warning. He praised the Bereans for checking the Scriptures daily (Acts 17:11). Therefore, it's okay to question someone's ideas. While it might feel uncomfortable, it's important to do so, especially if the questioner has bad intentions. Some people look to criticize, and the Bible says we don't need to respond to them. Generally, it's good for those who learn from the word to share with their teachers in positive ways (Gal. 6:6).

Paul mentioned that a supernatural being, like an angel from heaven, could come and share a different gospel. Verse 8 suggests that dramatic signs and wonders might happen at the end of times. We often talk about the invisible presence, leading some who don't fully understand the truth to believe that a visible supernatural event can't happen. If it does, they will be unprepared. We need to be aware of this possibility. We must not be influenced by the charm or looks of a supernatural being (a fallen angel). Everything we see or hear must align with the Word of God to be accepted.

"Let him be cursed." If we claim we can't judge others, we won't follow this Scripture. The Bible says we should evaluate teachings and actions. Isn't verse 8 telling us that if someone presents a different gospel, it's a serious mistake, and they should be cursed? (Claiming that Christians must follow the Law is serious because it suggests salvation through works, which undermines God's grace.) Paul was speaking to all believers, not just leaders. Therefore, we all have a duty to examine teachings and take a stand against those that contradict what we've learned. "Avoid those who create divisions and offenses against the doctrine you have learned" (Rom. 16:17). The Bible also states that divisions will happen, so it's not that they should never occur. Sometimes, divisions are necessary. The Bible encourages unity when possible, meaning we should strive for harmony in fellowship and spirit, but not when false teachings arise that conflict with God's Word.

You seem to be under the delusion that every denomination, is created by Christians, led of the Holy Spirit, to have different views of NT Doctrine.

I suggest you realize that "God is not the Author of Confusion" and when you have a "cult of Mary" and 45,000 "other" denominations in this world.....then its obvious that GOD is not causing this to occur.

Its the DEVIL who is the "author of confusion, and every evil work".

There are many things that God has done that weren't "necessary", and yet He did them.

Firstly, for clarity, when John wrote "I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this book", he was referring to his book Revelation, but that can be understood for all the Revelation.

Secondly, what do you understand "add" to mean in this case?

Thirdly, I think people need to understand the purpose of The Bible, which is to lead people to belief and salvation, and it's sufficient for doing this, but it's an incomplete knowledge of Jesus, for John also states that if all the miracles worked by Jesus were to be narrated, the earth would not suffice to hold the books (Jn. 21:25), and obviously it's an incomplete knowledge of other characters as well. Even Jesus's discourses and parables are summarized by the Evangelists, and there is information that isn't mentioned in the scenes of the Gospels, and scenes that aren't mentioned at all. Additionally, one won't find all there is to know surrounding the creation of the angels, the creation of the universe, the creation and life of Adam And Eve, their descendants, the rebellion of Lucifer and other angels, the soul, Grace, the Holy Trinity, the four Kingdoms: Limbo, Purgatory, Heaven, and Hell...

The list goes on...

God’s Word, the Bible, is the only truth that true Christians follow, and nothing needs to be added to it, period. The Bible says, “Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar” (Proverbs 30:5-6). True believers trust what is written, not so-called new revelations from men or women. God finished His revelation through Jesus Christ and His apostles, and the Bible alone is the complete record of that. Anyone claiming extra truth outside of Scripture is deceiving themselves and others. As Galatians 1:8 warns, even if an angel from heaven preaches another gospel, let them be accursed. God's truth is final, complete, and sufficient. No visions, no private messages, no writings like the mystic Maria Valtorta’s or anyone else's are needed or accepted by those who truly follow Christ.

Can Someone Sound Biblical and Still Be a False Teacher?

2 Corinthians 11:14 warns us that “Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” That means not everything that looks good, sounds spiritual, or uses Bible verses is truly from God. Some of the most dangerous deceptions come from people who seem sincere, quote Scripture, and even talk about Jesus—yet lead people away from the truth.

So here’s the question I want to open up for discussion:

If Satan disguises himself as an angel of light, how can we be sure we're not following someone who appears “biblical” but is actually a false teacher?

What do you personally look for when testing a teacher? How do you compare their words to Scripture? Are there red flags that immediately make you cautious?

Let’s use the Bible and discernment to sharpen each other on this important topic.

Absolutely, even scriptures warn us to watch for wolves..... in sheep's clothing. That Bible quote carries many details of our assignment as a Christian to be ..."watchful". Believe me it was never more truthful than in the modern era.

Scriptures also tells us that in the end times Satan will have and display powers all designed to...."be like the most High"...(referencing God...of course). Any serious student of the Bible can see those works even now in a lower level of application by Satan, who is currently being restricted by ...THE Comforter...The Holy Spirit...until He, The Holy Spirit be taken away. An illustration could be that of ...The New Age religion sect. defined by changing God's word here and there and is drawing many away from the written word of God...by believing and teaching the such of ...baptism not required....once saved always saved here on earth.....etc.

My conclusion is...Satan will never be able to totally miss lead a convicted Christian. (I am not including an occasional sin in that summary...because he accomplishes that, almost daily).

Again, if God did not say it in the Bible, it is adding to it. It does not matter what label you try to put on it. Proverbs 30:6 commands, "Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar." God gave His full and final Word in the Scriptures (Hebrews 1:1-2, Jude 1:3). There is no extra revelation, no clarifications, no updates. If it is not written in the Bible, it is not from God, and adding to it brings judgment.
