Members of congregations are preachers, though the number of congregants who think that way about themselves is probably low.

A pastor is more than just a preacher. All preachers, be they pastors or congregants, are responsible for what they preach and must think carefully about it before they do.

What exactly is a good, solid biblical hymn? Does it change over time? If it does, what are the reasons for it?

It has been my experience that this subject is discussed robustly by those who attend churches where the pastor engages in dialogue preaching. I had thought that the focus on the congregation preaching via singing might draw interest from those - the vast majority - who listen to monologue preaching. That appears not to be the case. The lack of interest does seem to confirm my observation that the number of congregants who think of themselves as preachers is probably low.

Whenever I went to church, I always loved the old traditional hymns. They are rich in meaning and I like the melodies.

I always thought that people could learn about the Christian faith from the old hymns.

that is part of it too . yes the hyms are good . A man ought to heavily teach from the bible
and have good hyms too . Let all things be done for the good of the church .

A friendly but necessary reminder as i just realized what area of the site we are now in my friend .
Visualize this scenario , fOR IT has and is occuring .
And what about THIS JESUS in the bible .......
AWAY with HIM and give unto us the king of interfaith , its god , its jesus .
And what about his saints ...................
CRUCIFY THEM will be the call . Most have Zero idea of whom and what this interfaith is leading them right too .
A god who uses the name of jesus in order to decieve christendom
and this same one has infiltrated even the false religoins too . To guide them , to cause them all
to believe they are serving the same God . Oh they serving the same god all right , but it aint GOD .

So why are so many walking in sin ,
why are so many going out to clubs , telling homosexuals , HEY we aint like our grandpas church , WE ACCEPT
you , its not sin at all , its love .
WHY are so many witnesses SO MUCH LIKE THE WORLD .
JESUS did not do such a thing . The apotels did no such thing .
SO WHY DO WE . WHY have we bought the lie that it is wrong , sinful , hateful
to correct those in sin . JESUS DID . the apostels did .
WHY does this church age rather PANDER TO SIN to try and win . CAUSE
that aint winning squat to CHRIST . ONLY to a version of jesus that accepts their sin . AND THAT AINT JESUS AT ALL .

There is a big difference between good fruit congregation preaching and bad fruit congregation preaching. You will know them by their fruit (Matthew 7:16).

THAT we shall indeed KNOW them by their fruit
allow me to remind us of the fruit of the wicked
verses the fruit of THE SPIRIT .
What is the fruit of the wicked . The fruit of the wicked IS TO SIN .
What is the fruit of the SPIRIT . The fruit of the SPIRIT
is in all righteous , holiness and TRUTH
PROVING what is acceptable to .......................drum roll , TO GOD . and no sin is acceptable IN HIS SIGHT .
SO again why do men pander to sin . WHY do they overlook and turn a blind eye to sin
specially amongst even the brethren . WHY do
they not rather USE the CHRIST GIVEN pattern to Correct sin and error .
And as a result of them not doing so , THAT IS WHY LEAVEN became accepted , sin became accepted
and EVEN TOOK over a lot of churches .

Hate not your neighbor in your heart , you shall in any way correct him and not allow sin upon him .
They say judge not correct not your neighbor . SOMETHING has went dead wrong .
IN fact this judge not correct not led to ,
THE JUDGMENT and CORRECTION of those who speak GODS OWN WORDS . OH THEY CORRECT those all right
THEY cALL them haters . and RUN THEM RIGHT OUT of churches .
EVER get the feeling satan does know how to use phrases , use scrips , BUT BABY HE PLANTS HIS LIES right into it .
