Mark 16:16 - He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Feel free to continue to pick and choose only the happy verses ignoring the rest of what the Lord says to continue in false doctrine.

Did you cut the "happy" verses out of your Bible?

No, the happy verses must be read in the light of the rest of God's Word.

Those that don't accept all of what God says are deceived and are servants of the evil one who then try to deceive others in to rejecting all the Lord says and become servants of the evil one.

Did you meet your quota this week?

No, the happy verses must be read in the light of the rest of God's Word.
But aren't you claiming the happy verses are nullified by your ugly verses?
Are the happy verses NOT God's word to you? Why dismiss them?

Again, what do you do with the contradictions?

My, my...

Judge not, lest ye be judged.

Better get that plank out of your own eye before you remove a speck from mine.

I find that though you and I differ, we debate our differences. Don't feed the trolls...

A Dialectic Debate is a form of argumentative dialogue where individuals, holding different perspectives, engage in a reasoned discussion to arrive at the truth or a deeper understanding of a subject. Unlike a debate that focuses on winning, a Dialectic Debate emphasizes collaboration and the pursuit of knowledge through questioning, contradiction, and synthesis of opposing viewpoints. The goal is to move beyond initial assumptions and arrive at a more comprehensive and accurate understanding of the topic at hand.

Feed the Mind. Challenge him to a Dialectic Debate. Forums are void of this...

That would make a good topic. Thanks.

It would. Someone on CARM Forums came up with it (Civic), so I started a Thread there about Dialectic Debate. I found that I kept on winning discussions there; it's kind of the way I Debate anyway. I call my method of Debate using "Shared Beliefs" to build upon and make my larger Point...

But there is so much Trolling on Forums. Others only want to make Proclamations and Condemnations...

You could migrate the OP to this forum as a topic.

But there is so much Trolling on Forums. Others only want to make Proclamations and Condemnations...
A failed spiritual economy.
Everyone is selling and no one is buying.

Perhaps...

For now, here's my Gospel Tract about it...

Samson’s pillars ~ by ReverendRV * September 9

Judges 16:29 KJV
; And Samson took hold of the two middle pillars upon which the house stood, and on which it was borne up, of the one with his right hand, and of the other with his left.

Most people know the story of Samson; the world’s strongest man. He wasn’t a very good man, but as a Judge he defended his people Israel. One day, his enemies used a woman to bring him down; many a man’s weakness. The Philistines blinded his eyes and kept him around; to bring him out from time to time, and mock him. During a great party they displayed him in their midst, but he had reconciled with God, and sacrificed himself by pulling the house down; killing more than he ever had. ~ When someone has a bad Doctrine, I use Samson and the Pillars as a way to show them they’re wrong. I get someone who disagrees with me to take turns giving Verses we use to make our points, and I even let them go first. I have to agree with their Verse and put one hand on it, while keeping my other hand on the Verses for my side; like holding to both sides of the argument. The first one to take their hand off the other persons pillar is the Loser. The person I'm debating with always takes their hand of my column before I take my hand off their column. The other person can't see how both columns can be true at the same time! ~ Keeping our hands on all columns results in a Systematic Theology; believing All Scripture…

Samson was a Scoundrel; are you better than him? ~ Samson Lied to Delilah all the time; what do you think she called him for Lying to her? Have you ever told a Lie?? Hmm; I think she would call you a Liar too. Have you ever had an Affair? This is called Adultery; but you deny it. Jesus said that whoever looks upon a woman to Lust for her has committed Adultery with her in his Heart! Saint James said “Each one is tempted when his own evil desires lure him away and he’s enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to Sin; and when Sin is full-grown, it gives birth to death.” In case you didn’t notice, this is a picture of Adultery in the Heart. ~ These were only two of God’s Ten Commandments, if he judged you by his standard would you be innocent or guilty? When you die, would you go to Heaven or to Hell?

Hell is a place of eternal torment and your hand is on its pillar; what you need to do is put your other hand on the pillar of Heaven; a place of eternal Glory! ~ For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on him shall not perish but have everlasting Life! Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God that takes away the Sin of the world. He gave up his life like Samson did, and Saved all who put their trust in him. He shed his blood and died on the Cross, was buried three days but rose from the grave; the Hope of eternal Life. We’re Saved by Grace through Faith in the Resurrected Savior Jesus Christ, without Works lest we boast; this is when you can take your hand off Hell’s pillar! Repent of your Sins, Confess Jesus Christ as your Lord God and join a Bible believing Church. ~ Do you believe the whole Bible but think others don’t? Ask yourself; “Is his Verse good or bad for my Doctrine?” When his Verse is Fundamentally true but bad for your doctrine, maybe you’re the one who doesn’t believe all the Bible?

2nd Timothy 3:16 KJV-a; All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine,

Interesting take on Samson….but not exactly on point, IMO.

Most people know the story of Samson; the world’s strongest man. He wasn’t a very good man, but as a Judge he defended his people Israel.
What do we know about Samson? It’s a convoluted and grizzly story at times, but in context of the era, such violence was common….and at the times of the Judges, Israel was not exactly in good spiritual condition.

Judges 2::12, 14, 16-19, explains where Israel was spiritually speaking….
“They abandoned Jehovah the God of their fathers who had brought them out of the land of Egypt and went following other gods from among the gods of the peoples who were all around them and they began bowing down to them, so that they offended Jehovah. . . . .
At this Jehovah’s anger blazed against Israel and he gave them into the hands of the pillagers and they began to pillage them, and he proceeded to sell them into the hand of their enemies round about and they were no longer able to stand before their enemies. . . . .
So Jehovah would raise up judges and they would save them out of the hand of their pillagers. And even to their judges they did not listen, but they had unfaithful intercourse with other gods and went bowing down to them. . . . And when Jehovah did raise up judges for them, Jehovah proved to be with the judge and he saved them out of the hand of their enemies all the days of the judge, for Jehovah would feel sorry for their groaning because of their oppressors and those who were shoving them around. And it occurred that when the judge died they would turn around and act more ruinously than their fathers by walking after other gods to serve them and bow down to them.”

Samson was one of only a few who were predestined by God to save his people. (Judges 13:1-5)
His story fits in well with the times.

Samson was not a scoundrel at all but he was used in the times to do the will of God.
Hell is a place of eternal torment and your hand is on its pillar; what you need to do is put your other hand on the pillar of Heaven; a place of eternal Glory!
Who said that is true? Hell is a place where all the dead “sleep”…according to Solomon, the dead are not in a conscious state in “Sheol”, which the Jewish Tanakh translates as “the grave”. (Eccl 9:5, 10) We go to the same place that the animals do….back to the dust as God told Adam. (Gen 3:19; Eccl 3:19-20)

There is no ECT.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on him shall not perish but have everlasting Life! Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God that takes away the Sin of the world. He gave up his life like Samson did, and Saved all who put their trust in him.
Yep, read it again….what is the opposite to believing in God’s “only begotten son”? Those who fail to believe will “perish”….that is not torment. Look it up.

There are no pillars to take your hands off…you invented that scenario…it is not what is said in the Bible since there is no “pillars of heaven or hell”….God only offered humans life or death….obey me and live….as opposed to disobey me, and die. Where did God change that? Where did Christ change that?

What “Bible believing church” would you recommend since there are literally thousands of them today, all claiming to be saved, and to teach the truth.
How many truths are there?

Scripture Alone ~ by ReverendRV * September 17

Genesis 1:1 KJV
; In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Through Faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness”. So God created Man in his own image, in the image of God created him; male and female created he them. And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the Garden thou may freely eat; but of the Tree of the knowledge of Good and Evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eat thereof thou shalt surely die. When the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, a tree to be desired to make them wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also to her husband with her; and he ate it. At once they saw what they had done, and they realized they were naked. Then they sewed fig leaves together to cover themselves. ~ For the wages of Sin is Death…

All that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world. ~ Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him and he began to teach them. He said: "You’ve heard the Commandment that says, 'You must not commit adultery.' but I say, anyone who even looks at a woman with lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart. You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not murder; and whoever murders will be liable to judgment.’ But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, 'Raca,' is answerable to the court. Anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.” ~ For whoever keeps the whole Law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it…

The wages of Sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal Life! ~ For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting Life. The Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory; Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. For by Grace you are Saved through Faith, and this not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not by Works so that no one can boast. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. ~ I’ve passed on to you what is most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our Sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said. The Lord will rescue us from every evil deed and will bring us safely to his Heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen…

Revelation 22:20-21 KJV; He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
