Cite from Scripture where it teaches sola scriptura. Please don't try the 2 Timothy 3:16. I'm certain you've been told many times already that "useful" doesn't mean sufficient. Please cite an actual mention of Sola scriptura.
It's amazing how judgmental some non-judgmental "bible believing" Christians are.

I already posted what God said about it in His Word. Besides you are indicating you do not accept what God says in His Word so WHY would you be asking for scripture references after having acknowledging you do not believe scripture?

The devil sure enjoys it when gullible people ignore what the Lord says and instead does what the devil says.

This is how he deceived Adam and Eve and his tactics are obviously still working on gullible people in modern times.
Jesus said the Holy Ghost would lead us in to ALL Truth (John 16:13), and Jesus said God's Word IS Truth (John 17:17)

Sure is strange and odd that no catholics can answer these two simple questions:

Show me in scripture where Jesus or His Apostle taught anybody to pray to mary or anybody else that has passed from this life (necromancy)

Show me in scripture where Jesus or His Apostle taught anybody to pray the rosary which is mary worship

Obviously they are not interested in following the teachings of Jesus or the teachings Jesus provided by the Holy Spirit thru His Apostles which make up the entire New Testament.

It's even more amazing that people who claim to be Christians ignore the teachings of Jesus or the teachings Jesus provided by the Holy Spirit thru His Apostles which make up the entire New Testament.

John 16:23 - And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

Jesus must have been absent minded or something seeing He totally forgot to mention praying to mary. Must have slipped His mind eh?

Jesus was in His early 30s when He gave His followers these instructions so surely he didn't have alzheimers!

May I ask any faithful Roman Catholics a simple question ?

Had mother Mary not remained a virgin and followed through with the marriage and went on to conceive children through sexual procreation -

WOULD SHE STILL THEN BE ASSUMED UPWARDS INTO HEAVEN

WOULD SHE STILL THEN BE THE QUEEN OF HEAVEN ?

i think that answers all questions about the matter,

As for asking a fellow member of the Body of Christ to pray for me – that isn’t “necromancy”.

The only 2 who can "hear you"" in Heaven, are God and Jesus.

Now if the person praying is actually born again, then the Holy Spirit who in them, hears their prayer, also.

You dont realize this because your "church" teaches you not to understand this spiritual reality. @BreadOfLife

So, If you are asking Mary or St Joseph or St Bernadette, to help you, then you are praying to the ceiling in your house or in your church.
You are wasting your prayers.

Says who?

Says ............."no verse in a Bible says to pray to the dead Saint" other than the one who rose from The Dead, whose name is YESHUA.

See, one of the ways that you stay away from false teaching is to just realize".......>"well, if my Cult of Mary is based on Mary and praying to Saints who died, then why is there no bible verse in any bible that says to do this, or even mentions it".

Why would the word of God.....leave it out?

A.) It wouldn't.

See, when something is TRUE regarding Christianity, its written down in the New Testament, as this is God's eternal Handbook for Christians....its the roadmap, its the Heavenly instruction manual...
Catholics are taught to sort of not pay attention to the bible because.."we have our church father's and our Traditions ...and here is what they say we are to do and believe"...

So, when something is not in the NT, ....and is FALSELY taught as if it is, then you know that something is wrong with the teaching.

See, a thinking person, who wants to please God, is going to ask..

"why do no Apostles venerate Mary, or Pray to Mary, or to Moses or Isaiah?

"why did Paul say....>"Jesus sent me not to Water Baptize""""' .. = if water is required for salvation?

"why am i taught that Mary flew to heaven, in her dead body"? when this is not found in any bible?

"why am i taught that water washes away my sin".. when in fact Christianity is built on The shed BLOOD of Jesus, that washes away your sin.... not water.

The "Thinking" Catholic, is not the usual Catholic, as the usual Catholic is a sheep, who just says...>"well, they teach it, so it must be true"., and CULTs are always made up of this TYPE of person.

May I add, these guys sometimes make me want to join the Catholic denomination.

Instead of drawing Christians towards their Protestant denomination they are more likely to push Christians towards Catholicism.

At the end of the day aren't we all meant to be Christians?

At the end of the day, you should be a born again from above, by the Grace of God through His living Word of God, Jesus Christ. All others are doomed. Stop, drop, and roll doesn't work in Hell.

No verse in the bible says that the Word of God begins with Genesis and ends with Revelation. People have received and still do get private revelations from God. Just because *you* may not believe them doesn't mean they didn't (don't) happen.
See, one of the ways that you stay away from false teaching is to just realize".......>"well, if my Cult of Mary is based on Mary and praying to Saints who died, then why is there no bible verse in any bible that says to do this, or even mentions it".

Maybe because Mary hadn't died on earth when the NT was being written.
A.) It wouldn't.

Not true. The bible clearly says that the reason for writing the things down in the bible was so we may come to believe. It also clearly states that not everything that Jesus did/said was written down.
Catholics are taught to sort of not pay attention to the bible because.."we have our church father's and our Traditions ...and here is what they say we are to do and believe"...
Again, not true. Interesting you would say that since bible scriptures are read OUT LOUD, IN CHURCH, EVERY DAY.
See, a thinking person, who wants to please God, is going to ask..
"why do no Apostles venerate Mary, or Pray to Mary, or to Moses or Isaiah?
Also, why would the Apostles venerate Mary or even pray to Mary since she was still alive with them? Also, it's not as if the climate toward women in general was very favorable.
"why did Paul say....>"Jesus sent me not to Water Baptize""""' .. = if water is required for salvation?
Paul simply acknowledged that his mission was to preach the Gospel; not to baptize. However, Paul himself was Baptized.
Jesus was Baptized. A number of people in Acts were baptized. Why would they be Baptized unless Baptism was important?

"Romans 6 says, “Don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?"
This idea that we are made one with Christ through baptism is reiterated by Paul in Colossians 2:12, and in Galatians 3:27 he likens baptism to “being clothed with Christ.”
"why am i taught that Mary flew to heaven, in her dead body"? when this is not found in any bible?
"why am i taught that water washes away my sin".. when in fact Christianity is built on The shed BLOOD of Jesus, that washes away your sin.... not water.

What's with the veiled insults? While there are some Catholics who practice their religion by rote, others actually DO their homework.

Hmmm . . . can you show me where the BIBLE says this?
You see – MY Bible says that the saints in Heaven CAN see and hear us.

Heb. 121 says that we are “surrounded by so great a cloud of WITNESSES, so we should live accordingly. A “witness” is someone who sees and hears what is happening.

Rev. 5:8 tells us that those in Heaven are taking our prayers to God on our behalf. This is a textbook definition of intercession.

Rev. 8:4 talks about the Angels in Heaven bringing our prayers to God on our behalf.

Rev. 6:11 and Rev. 7:13–14 escribe how the people in Heaven are totally aware of what is happening on earth and are pleading with God on our behalf.

Ummm, what does YOUR Bible say??

She did NOT remain a virgin.

Joseph and Mary had kids after Jesus was born and they did it the old fashioned way, they had sex
Well, my Sola Scripturist friend - can you show me where the BIBLE says this?
She was a virgin before Jesus was born, but after that her and Joseph did the wild thang as the kids call it these days.
Soooo, when Jesus judges you - do you thinbk that He will appreciate you talking about His mother in this disgusting and disrespectful manner?

Would YOU let someone talk about YUR mother this way?

And NO verse in the Bible says that -
- Scripture is our SOLE Authority . . .
- We must say the "Sinner's Prayer" to be saved . . .
--There will be a A pre-Trib “Rapture” . . .
- We must accept Jesus as “Personal Lord and Savior” . . .

Neither
does it teach things like:
- "Limited Atonement"
- "Imputed righteousness"
- "Altar Calls"

- "Eternal Security"

ALL
of these things were invented by Protestants in the 16th century and after.
Gee - WHY would the Word of God leave these things out?

Scripture speaks of Jesus having siblings which is done thru having sex so the burden of proof is upon catholics since they are the ones falsely claiming mary was always a virgin and that mary is co-redeemer with Jesus being equal to Jesus

You'll need to whip out one of your religious fairy tale books to make these claims because it's not in God's Word.

Of course all catholics have to do is cite on of their many popes who worshiped mary which is what catholics believe anyway is what all their popes said and then get upset when someone points out many their popes contradicted each other as they taught things not from God's Word.

Soooo, when Jesus judges you - do you thinbk that He will appreciate you talking about His mother in this disgusting and disrespectful manner?

Jesus "disrespected" mary Himself:

Matthew 12:47-50
Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Looks like catholics are NOT Jesus's family after all.

So do you advocate violence against those that you claim are speaking disrespectfully about mary?

That's what catholics used to do is murder those who reject their religion.

Are you and your catholic buddies stockpiling weapons getting ready to off some infidels like your calvinist and moslem brethren?

You kllnow, like in the old days?

WRONG - the Bible NEVER says that Mary had other children.
Time for a Bible Lesson . . .

The normal Greek word for “brothe” is “adelphos”. In Scripture, this word is applied to brother of same parents, half-brother (same father), cousins, uncles, nephews, relative, kinship, same tribe, and even a fellow countryman.

In Gen. 14:14, Lot is called Abraham’s "brother", even though he was his nephew – the the son of Haran, his brother (Gen. 11:26–28).

In Gen. 29:15, Jacob is referred to as the "brother" of his uncle Laban.

Brothers Kish and Eleazar were the sons of Mahli. Kish had sons of his own, but Eleazar’s daughters married their "brethren”, the sons of Kish - who were actually their cousins (1 Chr. 23:21–22).

In Matt. 13:55, we read about the “brothers” of Jesus (James, Joses, Simon, and Judas).

HOWEVER – at the foot of the cross, we also read about their mother:
Matt. 27:56
says, "…among whom were Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee".

Mark 15:40 states, "There were also women looking on from afar, among whom were Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joses, and Salome").

Finally, John 19:25 states, "But standing by the cross of Jesus were his mother, and his mother’s sister, Mary the wife of Clopas, and Mary Magdalene".

This “Mary” is the wife of Clopas and adelphe of Mary, Mother of Jesus.

NONHWERE does the Bible make the claim that ANY of these people are the children of Mary, Mother of Jesus.

You actually believe that Jesus violated the Commandment about honoring His mother or Father?? You really think He dishonored her? You are accusing him of SINNIING.

He said: “… whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.”

His Mother DID the will of God when she said:
Luke 1:38

“Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.”

Don’t just READ the Bible.

Don’t just READ the Bible.

I posted what Jesus actually said from God's Word.

He put more value on those that do God's will than He did His own mother and brothers that mary gave birth to after she and Joseph had sex.

You can keep your extra biblical teachings as they disagree with God's Word.

The Bible identifies the names of Mary and Joseph’s other children in Mark 6:3 as well as Matt. 13:55. In both passages, James is listed first, which tells us James is the oldest of the children Mary and Joseph had together. Jesus of course is the actual oldest but God was His Father not Joseph.
