Scriptures that Refute Calvinism

Thank you! I find it difficult to discuss when people clearly have false conceptions of what I and others who believe the doctrines of grace actually believe.

Yes, and when they keep trumpeting those false conceptions in the face of repeated, indisputable clarification(s), it becomes at some point impossible to really call it a false conception at all, but very intentional mischaracterization, which is a form of lying. But yes, amen to that, brother.

I have; it's a yearly practice of mine. My dare to you ~ to which your silence speaks volumes ~ still stands.

I have God's Word and THE Teacher Jesus sent (the Holy Spirit).

Right, right, right, I mean we would all say that, presumably... <smile> But as you probably know ~ because it is God's Word, after all ~ the utterance of wisdom and the utterance of knowledge are both gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:4-11, particularly verses 8 and 11), and like all His gifts, He empowers and apportions to each Christian individually as He wills, which obviously means, Big Boy, that not all of us are gifted to the same measure of those things.

I have no need for the wisdom of men...

Well, yes you do, if it is true wisdom from above, which is a gift of the Holy Spirit, as I said above. We all do, as all the gifts of the Holy Spirit are given to individuals for the common good (1 Corinthians 12:7), which is to say God gives individuals these gifts so that all us Christians can help each other in our Christian walk in various ways. Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another (Proverbs 27:17).

I run in to quite a few folks that don't accept what God says in His Word.

Men are what God uses to mature you and make you fit for His service. Stay away from them and you stay away from growing up in the faith.

And you think I don't? I have been studying His Word for fifty years and practice intense dispensational hermeneutics which teaches to take all verses concerning a doctrine in to consideration before deciding.

And isn't it funny that nearly all churches are 3-4-5 point believers in biblical calvinism. Armenian churches like the RCC, Methodists, and Episcopalians et. al hold to the five points of Jacob Armenius. I can defend the five points from Scripture with many many verses. That is how I went from an Armenian believer like you to a 5 point biblical calvinist. From an intense study of SCripture.

Yes and that's why nearly all churches are teaching false doctrine because they follow calvin instead of Jesus

That is how I went from an Armenian believer like you to a 5 point biblical calvinist. From an intense study of SCripture.

I follow the Lord Jesus who teaches in His Word man has free will. The only time I ever heard about this amadeus guy (and have still never read anything he wrote) is from calvinists who get mad when I tell them they are following an unrepentant murderer that twists scripture and is ignorant of the will of the Lord.

You'll learn eventually that being a follower of calvin is following the devil.
One must twist scripture and ignore portions of God's Word to be a calvinist.

But, at least you can hang out and be friends with other calvinists and you all can laugh about all the people going to hell because God decided they would burn in hell long before they were ever born rejoicing in the cult belief that only a few calvinists are saved.

Since your boy John Calvin had people whacked for not agreeing with his cult teachings, do you and your calvinist buddies have any plans to have any of the amadeus guys whacked? Ya'll been out doing target practice at the gun range?

The calvinists and the catholics both used to off people back in the day, so it'll probably be making a come back at some point since everybody seems to be getting more and more unhinged in the haze of the last days
