When the church has its home is in Heaven, and man remains on the new earth?

Anyone Still Worshiping Under the Old Covenant Is Not of God

If someone rejects Jesus, they are not worshiping the same God — no matter what else they claim.

That includes:

Rabbinic synagogues
Any system built on rejecting Christ and clinging to the Old Covenant

It is no longer Yahweh worship, it is anti-Christ rebellion.

The Apostles said it.
The early Church taught it.
And Jesus Himself warned of it.

So Yes — There Should Be No Synagogue or Temple Worship Today

The priesthood was dissolved
The sacrifices are invalid
The covenant is gone

So yes, every synagogue that operates today under the old covenant system is a dead religious shell.

For me, if a church is "failing" (not sure what you mean exactly), it means, as the pastor, that I've not loved my flock as I ought, and I need to come back to love. Or it means I've not been trusting Jesus. Or both.

Trust in Jesus with real trust, and love others with real love. Do those things, and God will grow fruit through you.
