If someone is drowning in the ocean and the lifeguard saves them,can they then in that moment drown?

And why on earth do so many seem to love this all inclusive jesus who darn sure
has made the road to GOD very sin accepting , unbeleif accepting
and hollers non stop love love love , yet KNOWS NEITHER GOD OR THE LOVE OF GOD .
because THAT there jesus , IT DARN sure cannot save . but why do so many love that jesus .

The apostles of Jesus didn't believe they were responsible for continuing their salvific state.

They knew they did not work to stay saved in Christ. They walked with Jesus and heard his sermons. They knew they were eternally secure in him and that nothing would change that.

No one would take them from the hands of ZJesus. God gave them to Jesus. And they knew Jesus would lose not one. Just as he said.

I pray no one ever thinks they have to labor to remain in Jesus. That they have to worry they can do something that will cause them to lose their salvation because God snatched it away.

OSAS means that a person could sin all he wants to after having become a believer because he somehow thinks that once a person is saved they could never lose that salvation.

If this were true,,,
no warnings in the NT would have been necessary.

You teach Faith + Works = Salvation, and the Bible teaches Saving Faith has Works.

ETERNAL SECURITY teaches that a person is secure in Christ for as long as he REMAINS in Christ.

If your works are required, you are NOT secure.

What does it mean to you to "remain in Christ"? How do you do that?
