Tanslation:You're not well. I'll leave you to yourself. Thanks!
"I can't argue my way out of this!"
Welcome to Christian Forums, a Christian Forum that recognizes that all Christians are a work in progress.
You will need to register to be able to join in fellowship with Christians all over the world.
We hope to see you as a part of our community soon and God Bless!
Tanslation:You're not well. I'll leave you to yourself. Thanks!
Sounds good--let the readers decide! LOL!Tanslation:
"I can't argue my way out of this!"
Christians have "passed from death to life"........Jesus has been Judged for all our sin, on EARTH, on The CROSS, which is why God will never Judge a Christian, after they die.
Jesus has already been judged for the sin of the Born again.
God does not "double judge".......>He does not Accept the Blood and death of His Son, on behalf of all BELIEVERS, and then later judge them as if Jesus didnt die for them already.
Matthew 18 : full forgiveness of debt is granted (so the guy believed (Ro 4:6-8)), so the debt is wiped out, and, then, later, the forgiveness is rescinded, and the debt returns, and the man has to pay.
OOPS! Maybe you should learn some Bible! LOL!
So ignorant--same as all Christians are.
Anyway, you don't offer exhaustive answers, so I'm not going to, either--I'll just pick the tiny portion I feel like answering, and answer that.
Just answer the answer to your ignorance--quit beating around the bush.....
And thats unfortunate for them.
Not if there are verses by Paul, James and Jesus stating otherwise. What it means, is that being born again, is eternal.
Of course I caused it !You can't end it, because you didnt cause it.
Christianity is a religion Behold.Chrisitianity is not caused by the sinner........its received by the sinner, and its completed BEFORE they recieve it.
God knows who is obeying Him and who is not. This is Salvation 101, and God knows that most Christians will never understand it, because they are trying to DO IT..., and its already been FINISHED by Jesus on the Cross.
Do you look for verses? So, If a Chrisitan can't understand this, then they are going to try to find verses that dispute it.
I've caught you on other Forums.THey are always going to run from forum to forum trying to prove you can "Lose it", because they they dont understand "IT".
Here's what Paul said about self-deception:Salvation is not understood by anyone who believes it can be lost., and trying to explain it to them, just pushes them farther into their self righteousness, and self deception.
And thats unfortunate for them.
How DARE you believe in Scripture!?Not if there are verses by Paul, James and Jesus stating otherwise.
Sealed in the old days of early Christianity meant baptism.
We are sealed by the Holy Spirit in baptism.
The early church believed in having to be baptized.
Of course I caused it !
Did I not reply YES to God?
Would I have been saved had I NOT said Yes to God?
Romans 10:8-10
8 But what does it say? "THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, in your mouth and in your heart "-that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,
9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
If I believe in my heart, it results in righteousness.
(unless one is Calvinist, of course - they REALLY have no say in the matter).
IF I don't believe...no salvation.
It's a two-way street.
God offers,
Man accepts.
And I can end it.
If I deny God,,,
He will deny me:
2 Timothy 2:11-12
11 It is a trustworthy statement: For if we died with Him, we will also live with Him;
12 If we endure, we will also reign with Him; If we deny Him, He also will deny us;
Christianity is a religion Behold.
It was caused by Jesus who began a new church.
Ephesians 5:23
23For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.
God knows who is obeying Him and who is not.
Christians should understand this.
John 3:36
36 "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."
WHAT did Jesus finish on the cross??
Do you look for verses?
Post some that state that salvation cannot be lost...
in no uncertain terms....
Just like this is in no uncertain terms:
JESUS said.
Luke 8:13
13 "Those on the rocky soil are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no firm root; they believe for a while, and in time of temptation fall away.
JESUS said "they believe for a while and then fall away.
Seems really clear but some twist it to make it mean something different.
Believe for a while...
Fall away.
I've caught you on other Forums.
You running?
Trying to prove one is secure - no matter what - and giving them a false security.
Here's what Paul said about self-deception:
Galatians 6:4-9
4 But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another.
5 For each one will bear his own load.
6 The one who is taught the word is to share all good things with the one who teaches him.
7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever * a man sows, this he will also reap.
8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
9 Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.
Better to post on these forums that it's a good idea to obey God and work for His Kingdom.
James 1:22
22But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.
It's unfortunate that some might still be living in the flesh and think they are still saved due to posters that make it seem that this is what the NT teaches with the OSAS idea.
Well, that angry face on you got me a little worried !!How DARE you believe in Scripture!?
It's just weird, to me, how people can ignore something so glaringly obvious.Well, that angry face on you got me a little worried !!
A few verses about how BELIEVERS are eternally saved.....
always in the present tense...we must be BELIEVING at the time of our death.
We must ENDURE TILL THE END.
Jesus said this...not me.
But all the warnings are ignored.
Never understood why.
Not if there are verses by Paul, James and Jesus stating otherwise.
