That Satan is going to be dealt with doesn't deminish his influence now. His influence in this world will increase going forward into the last days. While many believe the devil is constantly influencing people, Scripture tells us that Satan will ultimately be dealt with. So the real question becomes: what are we actually wrestling against? More often than not, it's spiritual darkness—struggles within our own thoughts, mind, and soul.
That Satan is going to be dealt with doesn't deminish his influence now. His influence in this world will increase going forward into the last days.
Must spiritual darkness be an impersonal energy or vibe? I'm not convinced such things exist separately from a malevolent evil spirit.
This verse emphasizes God's sovereignty over all aspects of creation, including both light and darkness, peace and calamity. It’s often cited to show that nothing exists outside of His authority—even the things we might struggle to understand.“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.” — King James Version
I believe the absence of God himself is what is the darkness consist of.
Satan is the "god of this world".
He blinds minds, as otherwise, everyone would believe in Jesus.
Who is Paul writing to?
Paul is writing to any born again Christian.
Paul stated that "the devil" blinds the minds".
Paul stated that "the devil" hindered Him on a Mission Trip.
Paul stated that you put on the Armor of God to stand against the Traps, the Deceptions, that come from THE DEVIL.
"the DEVIL".
Satan was the religious Pharisees,
Who blinded people to the truth of Jesus Christ….
Your strange theology only clicks with you.Why doesn’t this click with anyone?
They were the “god of that world” that age…
When temple sacrifices and things where going on?
Nah. I’m good bro. I’m just thankful I got a job to go to tomorrow that’s all I care about.Listen.
The Pharisees were just religious leaders..........who hated Jesus, because they Envied His Power, and His following and His authority.
He denied them their authority, and that cut them to their carnal bones and they wanted Him to die.
Paul wrote that """""the Devil"""""" blinds their minds........as otherwise all would believe in Jesus.
Because its your strange theology.
It only "clicks" with you., and with those who taught you.
Satan is not an "age"....>Hes a created supernatural being, an "angel of light".....who "was a murderer from the Beginning" , who is the author of your current deception.

Stay on topic.
He was writing to the people of Ephesus specifically.,..
Are there spiritual applications people can gain from it today ? Yes… but the devil in revelation is defeated…
So people wrestle around with spiritual darkness and their own self…..
I ain’t into trying to make stuff up just to keep the devil around dude…
Jesus came and took care of them “Satan”
Those religious Pharisees who obscured the truth in that day in age…
And does it continue to happen that people can be “Adveristy to themselves?” Absolutely
Therefore put on the armor of God.
If there were a spirit that tempted Satan, that would actually be the real Satan. I can't conceive of a darkness that has no will of its own, yet it is still able to articulate a temptation.Lforrest, I've been thinking—perhaps it was darkness that first tempted Satan. That possibility has been on my mind.
I often reflect on my own capacity for wrongdoing. Can you look in the mirror and say, "I am capable of evil"? I can, and I know there are things within me that I have to wrestle with daily. It's similar to the way Scripture contrasts light and darkness, where people often choose the latter.
Whether one believes Satan has been done away with is up to personal interpretation. For me, I believe Scripture affirms that truth. Yet even so, I think the deeper issue isn’t Satan alone—it’s the spiritual darkness that still exists and influences hearts and minds today.
In Genesis, we get the sense that God was present even in the darkness. That detail stands out to me. It suggests that even in the absence of light, God is there, and His presence still reaches us.
Satan chose to do his own will, much like how the people of Israel once turned from God and became “gods of their world.” That same dynamic plays out today—we often contend with the inner spiritual battles that pull us away from truth.
Does this make sense? I know it's layered, but what I'm trying to say is: darkness is still here. And the greatest struggle isn’t always with outside forces—it’s the quiet, internal wrestling within our own hearts.
Nah. I’m good bro. I’m just thankful I got a job to go to tomorrow that’s all I care about.

This verse is part of a passage traditionally understood to describe the fall of Lucifer, who is believed to have been a high-ranking angel before his rebellion. The surrounding verses (Isaiah 14:12–15) detail his pride and ambition, including his intent to exalt his throne above the stars of God and sit on the mount of the congregation2.“I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.” (Isaiah 14:14, KJV)
Together, these verses paint a picture of Satan’s prideful ambition to elevate himself to divine status—a desire that led to his downfall.“Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness...” (Ezekiel 28:17, KJV)
