So to you a generation passes, dies off, at the time they have children? No, that is not what a generation means. A generation passes when most of the persons of that generation die. Look at verse 34.

Matthew 24:
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Jesus said the generation that sees all the events shall not pass. It is about the people/generation not a time length generation. The generation that sees all the events he listed will be of all ages. They only need to live for a little over 42 months to see everything. Not 40 or 60 or 100 years etc. That's the wrong type of "generation".

Using your irrational thinking - what is the latest year that Jesus will return by ?

I maintain by the end of 2037.

1967 budding of the fig tree, Jerusalem back in the hands of the Jews + 70 years for a generation = 2037.

That cannot be answered.

That's not what a generation means in the OD. It is a group of people that will not die before seeing all the events, not a certain length of time. You also have the starting time wrong because the events did not start in 67.

So according to you the parable of the fig tree was meaningless ?

In the parable of the fig tree, Jesus gave the generation that would see his return and the events leading up to it.

Genesis 15 is the clearest example of a generations length Being 100 years.

Genesis 15:13-16 (AMP) 13 God said to Abram, “Know for sure that your descendants will be strangers [living temporarily] in a land (Egypt) that is not theirs, where they will be enslaved and oppressed for four hundred years. 14 “But on that nation whom your descendants will serve I will bring judgment, and afterward they will come out [of that land] with great possessions. 15 “As for you, you shall [die and] go to your fathers in peace; you shall be buried at a good old age. 16 “Then in the fourth generation your descendants shall return here [to Canaan, the land of promise], for the wickedness and guilt of the Amorites is not yet complete (finished).”

a generation = 100 years, and dougggs using psalm 90‘s 70 isnt far off when using 1967 recapture of the Temple Mount as the baseline Instead of 1948 and Israel’s return as a nation. Either would work in this case as a general timetable for His second coming.

Gods calendar works using Ages, of which there are 3.5 ( no coincidences). Three of two thousand and one of one thousand, totaling seven Millenniums, a typology of seven days as in Genesis, Peter, Psalms and others. Seven thousand years.

An Onah is 500 years. A Jubilee is 50 years. (Hence why there is a last popes prophecy of the current pope being the last one before Jesus Christ returns.)

Age of Creation
The first four Onahs make up the first 2000-year Age, 1-2000 AM or 3925-1925 BC.

Age of Torah
Onahs five through eight make up the second 2000-year Age, 2001-4000 AM or 1926 BC - AD 75.

Age of Grace
Onahs nine through twelve make up the third 2000-year Age, 4001-6000 AM or AD 75-2075.

Age of the Kingdom
Onahs thirteen and fourteen make up this fourth Age which only lasts 1000 years. It is commonly called the Millennium, 6001-7000 AM or AD 2076-3075.

there are plenty of prophetical reasons why this is accurate And factual Truth. That being said do your own research and take it to the Lord.

His return is very much not 1000 years away.

Jesus Christs first advent was in the last Jubilee, 50 year period, of the Age of Torah. He was crucified April 6, 32 AD. if His ministry was 3.5 years that means He crossed the Jordan and was baptized by John in Elul/Tishrei 28AD. By the end of that jubilee (25 AD -75 AD), the temple was destroyed (70AD), and others things completed so that by 75 AD the age of Grace was in full swing and the closing of the age of Torah was complete.

Given the fact that His first advent was early in the final jubilee of the age of Torah (25-75 AD) I believe it’s safe to assume His second advent will be sooner in the final Jubilee (2025-2075 AD) of the Age of Grace as well. 2032 AD would be exactly 2000 years since His being cut off. Given the state of the world and prophecy taking place right now His is return very soon, not another 1000 years away which is completely wrong and wildly inaccurate.

we are absolutely pre-kingdom, there will be a physical return and physical reign of 1,000 years, as stated in the Bible in many places. Anyone teaching little season, symbolic fulfillment of prophecy, or there is no physical return with Jesus Christ ruling over earth in New Jerusalem is quite plainly wrong, easily disproved ( wether they argue or not) and is teaching a false doctrine. Do not be led astray.

time Is short, seek refuge in Jesus Christ if you haven’t already. Amen.

Please checks your facts

No (that type of negative question is never valid), it is just usually misinterpreted. Scripture also includes all trees, not just the fig tree.

Certain events are like trees when they blossom. When people see the beginning events, they will see all the events. Has nothing to do with Israel, 1948 nor 1967 and nothing about how many years a generation is. It is only about the type of generation which is a group of living people. Most of the events would be seen in a 42 month period by that generation including the second coming and rapture.

Can anyone please show me the verses where an / the antichrist figure will come forward? Outside of 1st and 2nd Peter where he mentions the "spirit of the antichrist," there is no other mention of that term in either Daniel, the NT and that includes Revelation.

And because so much of Daniel carries forward to Revelation, one must expect to see more than a gross misinterpretation of a pronoun in 9:27. To be candid, how anyone can think the 4 verses in 9:24-27 are not messianic is frightening. Who do you think the scriptures are all about ? And especially Daniel - it is all about His first coming and how He will save mankind.

The gross, intentional misinterpretations of 9:27 and the 7 year tribulation, etc., was indeed constructed by the Jesuits in the 16th century as a counter reform measure designed to remove the "accepted" belief that the papacy was the little horn of Daniel 7 and 8.

So, I will be looking forward to you pointing out the verses first and then how you interpret them to include an "antichrist" literal figure.

And if you have an interest, perhaps you might be willing to comment on just who is the little horn, when he came to power, why has God given us so much ink to this lieral individual .... and why you are not focusing on him.... he has been here for 1500 years!
The typical reformed claim on the word "Antichrist" a weak defense

Daniel's (Little Horn) Paul's (Man Of Sin) John's (The Beast) is the very same future evil human man, and the short word used to explain this future evil man is "The Antichrist" its that simple, your reformed argument is cast aside

 Pretty close, Truth7t7. The Antichrist though is one stage of the person, not an overall designation (although most people use the term in an overall manner). Just refine a little bit.

little horn > prince that shall come > the Antichrist > the revealed man of sin > the beast king

Stage 1, Stage 2, Stage 3, Stage 4, Stage 5. Being the Antichrist will be Stage 3.

The Reformers, whom God raised up to liberate His True Church from the spiritual oppression of the apostate papacy, used the wisdom and discernment that God gave them to correctly identify antichrist.

They were smarter than you.

The persecuted church existed before the reformers and outside of Roman Catholicism

The Anabaptist lineage would be a prime example of the church before the reformation, and they were and are the true church who opposed the grips of Roman Catholicism, infant baptism being just one of many

I disagree with you private interpretation of stages

The evil future man "The Antichrist" will be given 42 future months in power and then the second coming of Jesus takes place (The End)

The antichrist of the apostate papacy began to manifest itself centuries before the Reformation.

Then God raised up the Reformers to recognize, confront, and overcome it.

The Protestant REFORMATION of the 15th and 16th centuries IS OVER, HISTORY.

Martin Luther's thesis he nailed to the Church door started it all, because he was a Bible scholar and disagreed with some of the Catholic practices that were going on that were claimed to be from God, like indulgences which meant you could pay money to the Catholic Church to get your deceased loved ones out of Purgatory. The Catholic system fell away with denying Bible Scripture only as the Authority, and instead started planting men's doctrines just like the Pharisee and scribe "tares" did during Judah's Babylon captivity.

Thus became the idea of the Protestant Church, with the word Protestant meaning 'to protest' what the Catholic system was guilty of. This caused the Catholic Church then to war against the Protestants and treat them like rebels to be destroyed. And that is how many Protestant Christian families migrated to other countries, with many of them settling in America. My French ancestors of the 16th century, French Hugeunots, was one of those families that migrated to America because of Catholic persecution. And in the early American colonies, they were all Protestants. And later migrations of Catholics were looked at suspiciously, and took quite a while to establish their churches in North America. But in South America, the Catholic Church flourished through exploration by Catholic Spain, Italy, and Portugal, etc.

Who then, keeps bringing this stuff up about a pope and the Catholic Church as if the Protestant Reformation is still going on today? The Protestant Church and the Catholic Church still disagree quite a bit with each other, but we are not at literal war like it was in the 15th and 16th centuries. Who keeps trying to bring up that old Reformation doctrine? It is obvious that those want us to believe their personal theories outside The Bible that a Catholic pope will be the coming Antichrist at the end of this world, which of course is an impossible idea per Bible Scripture.

I see what those do with trying to keep the idea of Reformation going as only using it for their own personal gain of power seeking. The Orthodox Jews are probably involved in pushing those old Reformation ideas too because anything to help divide and conquer the Christian Church they would be interested in. And the Catholic Church and old Rome the Orthodox Jews especially hate, because of the history of Jewish persecutions they endured in Europe by the Romans, and the later Catholic Church.

Therefore, don't believe their false theories that a pope will be the coming Antichrist. God's Word declares that JERUSALEM will be the center of world deception by the coming Antichrist, and there he will be proclaimed to be a Jew from the tribe of Judah, of the house of David, for he will be proclaimed as The Christ of The Old Testament prophecies.

Poor Duped Deceived Davy (again) and his strawified hallucinations. No Reformer has ever believed what he alleges. Rather, the Reformers recognized and proclaimed that the apostate papacy of their time was the prevailing antichrist of their time. This proclamation rocked the apostate papacy to its foundations, leading it to attempt to distract the true Church from Reformation truth by fabricating the claim that antichrist would instead appear in the future. This distraction was the mission of the apostate papacy's counter-Reformation, led by one Francisco Ribera, a Jesuit priest, recognized as the Father of Futurism. His futurized prophetic fabrications are found in his In sacram beati Ioannis Apostoli and Evangelistae Apocalypsin Commentarii. They are the fabrications for which Davy and his fellow "deceptees" have fallen.

Another of Davy's strawifications up in smoke.

Don't add fuel to his fire, unless it's the fuel of fallacy.

The SDA view that the papacy/popes is the little horn/Antichrist/beast-king does not fit the identification of the person according to scripture.

In Daniel 11:36 is the beast-king. In Daniel 11:37 , that the beast-king will have no regard for the God of his forefathers is an indication that he is

Dan 11.37 is showing the ACs relation to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob from where Judah came from. Ishmael and Esau were the older serving the younger, so relatives but not neccessarily "Jews". But the AC will not regard the gods of his father's, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. More likely Allah, Mohammed, and Islam. Its a family affair. Rome not so much.

Oh, Dougggggggggggie, you have no understanding of the Entity type that is the Beast of revelation 17, 12 and 13. It certainly is not the Roman Empire as you are suggesting.
Love to know your likely candidate!
