I'll take a shot in the dark...

Because you fellas like westerns! :D

Thank you, thank you. Hold your applause.
I am a boomer and I believe @Matthias is too . We grew up watching Daniel Boone , Davey Crockett , The Lone Ranger , The Cisco Kid and Mr. Cowboy himself Roy Rogers and his horse Trigger .

I’m a conscientious objector and abhor violence, but I watch westerns.

I don’t watch them for the violence.

My grandparents grew up watching those shows and movies. It was all a bit before my time. I'm a millennial.

But I enjoy westerns very much. Tombstone is my favorite. Tomahawk was also very good. Unforgiven. 3:10 to Yuma. Basically all the Clint Eastwood films.

Neither do I. I watch them for the characters and the story. The violence is just part of the wild west. It would feel inauthentic without it.

This clip shows why the older movies were the best....plots, acting, well made. I recently saw Gaslight on the old movie network channel. It held my interest.

“As far as the apologist is concerned, ‘culture’ designates whatever his or her audience may enjoy reading, watching, or listening to … The words of a popular song; some lines from a much-read novel; a scene from a top-rated television movie; some lines from a major box-office hit - all have potential in the hands of the sensitive and intelligent apologist.”

(Alister E. McGrath, Intellectuals Don’t Need God & Other Modern Myths, p. 204)

The swamp of sadness, or whatever it was called. Poor Artax... :disrelieved:

The scenes in that movie actually have greater significance than one might think. The swamp was meant to portray depression. Artax becomes overwhelmed with sadness, thus, refuses to act, leading to his demise.

"The Nothing" represented nihilism, and how it's used to control people.

My wife and I just watched this last week, yes, very interesting! Very well done! The thing I didn't like about it was how on target it was. We've known people like that!

Much love!

I've never heard of Wolf Creek 2...is it an apocalyptic movie?
No not Apocalyptic.

Just the 2ed one, that is called Wolf Creek.
There is another series that I seen on TV. may be called W C 3.

It's mainly about a bloke based on a true story ? how true it is, is like any show based on a so called true story.

But Mick Taylor is The Name and shooting Pigs is the game.

I know the real person, his name is Mick but they got his sirname wrong, it sounds much like Taylor but is spelt with a V .
The bloke is a nut who once resided down the road.

The dude who lived nextdoor is Irish and totaly hates Mick ! but next door is totaly fearful of the movie and going way out into the sticks and coming across people like Mick.

People like Mick are very prejudice and do not like being offended at all ! and will lord it over anyone if they can ! one brand name of car is the best and all the rest are crap regardless and if you are not totaly of the same belief as him, then your seen as the enemy !
Very simple minded self driven idiot moronic fool, that's typical of the New age person thinks is their rights ! That
Someting can just set them off into a rage, if what they Idolise is dismissed. be it to do with football, Gay rights etc etc.

The Irish man is a Gay rights nazi ! if you do not totaly idolise Gays, he will demand to stand over you.
Mick is a sexualy retarded sick queer ?
