I am an avid fan of the original films, didn’t mind some of the ones that followed but Star Wars was well and truly part of my teenage years - now I watch the films with my children and grandchildren.

I prefer the original trilogy. The prequels were hit and miss. I pretty much despise everything Disney has done with it.

Those were really the days of making great movies. Great actors, plots and directing. Also, especially in the old Westerns, they did all of the stunts and action scenes on location. Redoing scenes if necessary.

I can remember seeing a lot of these movies when I was a child in the 1950s and 60s. My dad was a real movie buff.

Now I am rewatching some of the films on Grit TV and the old movie network.

The Duke in a western , comedy , romance movie . I think I have it memorized . Chill Wills is a funny guy .
