WRONG - Jesus never said that.Sorry but once you have eternal life it is eternal. And as Jesus said , not even you can pluck yourself out of His hand!
What He said was that "Nobody" can pluck YOU out of HIS hand. Correct. NOBODY can pluck you out of His hand.
But YOU can jump out of His hand . . .
(Matt. 7:19-23, Matt. 10:22, Matt. 24:13, Matt. 25:31–46, John 15:1-6, Rom. 11:22, 1 Cor. 4:4, 1 Cor. 9:27, 1 Cor. 10:12, 1 Tim. 4:1, 1 Tim. 4:16, 2 Tim. 2:12, Heb. 3:6, Heb. 3:12-14, Heb. 6:4-6, Heb. 10:26-27, 2 Pet. 2:20-21, 2 Pet. 3:17, 1 John 2:24, 1 John 5:13, Rev. 3:5, Rev. 22:19).
Me too . . .John 10:28
And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.
I will take the Word of God over mens philosophy!
(Matt. 7:19-23, Matt. 10:22, Matt. 24:13, Matt. 25:31–46, John 15:1-6, Rom. 11:22, 1 Cor. 4:4, 1 Cor. 9:27, 1 Cor. 10:12, 1 Tim. 4:1, 1 Tim. 4:16, 2 Tim. 2:12, Heb. 3:6, Heb. 3:12-14, Heb. 6:4-6, Heb. 10:26-27, 2 Pet. 2:20-21, 2 Pet. 3:17, 1 John 2:24, 1 John 5:13, Rev. 3:5, Rev. 22:19)
And we are ALSO told that we will have eternal life IF we “…stand firm”, “…endure to the end”, “…hold fast”, “…continue in my Word”, etc. (Matt. 24:13, John 8:31, Eph. 6:11, Heb. 10:23)Correct! and as Jesus said:
Philippians 1:6
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
What God starts--He finishes and not even the great and powerful Bread of Life is going to cause God to cease His work in you! Enjoy the ride and praise God for His incomprehensible love for you!
That’s NOT what I said.So once again you say there is a sin in your life Jesus did not shed His blood for. So Sorry and sad for you. Come to the Jesus of the bible and know freedom.
I said that we are forgiven for ALL of our past sins.
Every future Sini still needs to be repented of when it happens.
Are YOU trying to say that these verses are NOT talking about eternal damnation??and you should learn exegesis, hermeneutics and how to apply the original languages. Then you would know these are not speaking of salvation.
- “You will be thrown out”
- “… there no longer remains sacrifice for sins but a fearful prospect of judgment and a flaming fire that is going to consume the adversaries.”
You REALLY need to take a Beginner’s Bible course . . .
Jesus dies and paid for ALL of the sins of the world.Hey if you want to believe jesus did not die for all your sins that is your business, but it is a lie. And you are buying a lie if you believe that if you die with uncofessed sin- you go to hell.
However – that doesn’t mean that ALL sins are forgiven.
Forgiveness requires our repentance. And if YOU think you’re without sin – you have deceived yourself and are a LIAR – according to the Word of God . . .
1 John 1:8
"If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us".
Scripture ALSO says that salvation is conditional on out cooperation with God’s grace . . .But I will follow the truth of Scripture that says I will never perish, I am already dead and my life is hid with Christ in God.
- John 15:5-6 “I am the vine; you are the branches. IF you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. IF you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.
- Matt 16:24 “Let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me ”.
- John 6:27 “Labor for eternal life ”.
- John 15:14 “You are My friends, IF you do whatsoever I command you”.
- 1 Cor. 15:2 “… by which also you are saved, IF you hold fast that word which I preached to you—unless you believed in vain.”
He absolutely atones for ALL sins – 100% of themJesus atoned for my sin- and that means they are all erased! Not 99 44/100% as you theorize butr all of them.
Ummm, can you show me where the Bible says that ALL sins are forgiven without repenting of them??
Chapter and Verse, please . . .
