2 Thes 1 says that the *hardened,* who reject the Gospel *permanently,* are cast into the fire, ie burned up, destroyed from our plane of existence, or removed to Outer Darkness. It does not address the future of national Israel at all!
There is in fact information on Israel getting Saved at or after Christ Returns. It is a matter of how you interpret it.
For example, it seems apparent that Zech 12-14 conttains information on a future and final salvation of national Israel at the end of the ages. And Rev 1 picks up on this by declaring that when Christ returns, many will weep. That is, they will repent, such as is indicated for national Israel in Zech 12-14.
Zech 12.10 “And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.
Rev 1.7 “Look, he is coming with the clouds,”
and “every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him”;
and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”
Romans 2

tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the [c]Greek;
Well, the unbelieving Jews are hardened against Christ.
2 Thess 1 is very clear about what will happen to anyone who does not believe in Christ when He returns from verse 7 onwards.

3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, 4 so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and [
a]tribulations that you endure, 5
which is manifest[
b] evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer; 6 since
it is a righteous thing with God to repay with [
c]tribulation those who trouble you, 7 and to
give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels, 8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. 9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power, 10 when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who [
d]believe, because our testimony among you was believed.

God’s Righteous Judgment
1 Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. 2 But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things. 3 And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God? 4 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? 5 But in accordance with your hardness and your [
a]impenitent heart you are [
b]treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who “will render to each one according to his deeds”: 7 eternal life to those who by patient continuance in doing good seek for glory, honor, and immortality; 8
but to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness—indignation and wrath, 9 tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the [c]Greek; 10 but glory, honor, and peace to everyone who works what is good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. 11 For there is no partiality with God.

That Romans 2 judgment occurs at the return of Christ. Any Jews who are going to be saved, have to do that before Christ returns.
