You can mock Jesus all you like. I believe Jesus when he speaks. He says eat my flesh and drink my blood. You aren't mockng me friend.
I would Never mock Jesus the som of God whom I Adore.
He did not say just one phrase did he? when he explained it to his disciples he was clear;

Jhn 6:63 The Spirit gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life.

You have to read the whole texts - John 6:22-71 - of this matter and not focus on one phrase only.

He hid the meaning just like he did with some parables, mow there is a reason for this;

Jhn 6:65 Then Jesus said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to Me unless the Father has granted it to him.”

Jhn 6:66 From that time on many of His disciples turned back and no longer walked with Him.

Now remember Jesus had not ascended and the Holy Spirit had not been given at that time, it is why so many did not understand;

John 16:13 (NKJV)
"However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come."

Blessings.

Brother listen

John 6:53 says: “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.”

Jesus often spoke in pictures that pointed to deeper truths. He called Himself the bread of life (John 6:35), the living water(John 4:14; 7:37), and the true vine (John 15:1). Each of these is food or drink for the soul, showing that only through Him can we have eternal life. When He spoke of His flesh and blood, He was not calling people to eat His body in a physical way but was using the strongest imagery to show that His life and His sacrifice must be taken into our hearts just like food and drink are taken into our bodies.

The Old Testament is full of this kind of imagery. God gave Israel manna in the wilderness, called bread from heaven(Exodus 16:4). This pointed forward to Jesus, the true bread that gives eternal life. The rock Moses struck poured out water for the thirsty people (Exodus 17:6), and Paul later reminded that this rock symbolized Christ, who gives living water (though we will not use Paul’s words here, the image is already shown by God’s act itself). The blood of the lamb in the first Passover saved the Israelites from death (Exodus 12:7,13), pointing to the blood of Jesus which covers us from judgment. Isaiah spoke of a feast prepared by God for His people (Isaiah 25:6–8), where He will swallow up death forever, showing that life with God is pictured as eating and drinking at His table.

So when Jesus said we must eat His flesh and drink His blood, He was gathering all these pictures into one. He is the true manna, the living water, the Passover lamb, and the feast of God. To “eat” and “drink” Him means to believe, trust, and take His sacrifice into our very being, so that His life becomes our life. The Old Testament imagery shows this was always God’s way of teaching: life comes only from what He gives, and what He gives must be taken in fully.

Now for the deeper meaning;

When Jesus said “unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you” (John 6:53), He was not asking for shallow listening. He used very strong words to shake His listeners out of half-hearted faith. Eating and drinking is not something you do from a distance—it is the most personal act, where food and drink enter your very body and become part of you. In the same way, Jesus was showing that we cannot treat His words and His sacrifice lightly or from the outside. He calls us to take Him in fully, to let His teaching, His spirit, and His sacrifice become part of us as bread and water become part of the flesh. This is why in verse 56 He said, “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.” To “abide” means to live in, dwell in, remain joined without separation. That is the depth He desires—not just to hear Him, not just to admire Him, but to be filled with Him so that His life flows through us.

This is perfect imagery of the Passover and the Last Supper. In the first Passover, the Israelites had to eat the lamb whose blood covered their doors (Exodus 12:7–11). They were not told just to kill it, but to eat it, showing that the sacrifice must be taken into themselves. That lamb’s blood saved them from death, and its flesh gave them strength for the journey out of Egypt. Jesus, on the night of the Last Supper, fulfilled this picture. He took bread, gave thanks, broke it, and said, “Take, eat; this is My body” (Matthew 26:26). Then He took the cup and said, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins” (Matthew 26:28). The disciples were keeping the Passover meal when He said this, and He showed them that He Himself is the true Passover Lamb.

So when He told us in John 6 to eat His flesh and drink His blood, He was already pointing ahead to that Last Supper, the new covenant meal. The depth of His words is that He wants us to be joined to Him as closely as food and drink join to our body, to trust in His sacrifice as fully as Israel trusted in the blood of the lamb, and to remain in Him so that we draw our life only from Him.*1*. Just as the Israelites could not be saved without both the blood on the door and eating the lamb inside, so we cannot have eternal life without both believing in His sacrifice and taking Him into ourselves by faith.

*1*( read the most beautiful passages of the bible as confirmation that He wants us to be one like he is one with his father. John, chapter 17 in full)

If these texts that I wrote for you are not convincing then unfortunately there is nothing more I can add, this is the best I can do.

Blessings.

I'm not debating the Eucharist.

I'm saying that you cannot condemn a person because they cannot bring themselves to understand something the same way you do.

CCC no. 1271

VII. THE GRACE OF BAPTISM
The sacramental bond of the unity of Christians

1271

Baptism constitutes the foundation of communion among all Christians, including those who are not yet in full communion with the Catholic Church: "For men who believe in Christ and have been properly baptized are put in some, though imperfect, communion with the Catholic Church. Justified by faith in Baptism, [they] are incorporated into Christ; they therefore have a right to be called Christians, and with good reason are accepted as brothers by the children of the Catholic Church."81 "Baptism therefore constitutes the sacramental bond of unity existing among all who through it are reborn."82
Its what Jesus said not what I understand. Do I need to show you the quote again?

No he mentioned his body and blood 4 times not once.

Then if THE flesh profits nothing then Jesus death on the cross is meaningless. HIS flesh is not the same as THE flesh

The last supper where they ate bread and drank wine which Jesus had already said was his flesh and his blood. Your texts dont have greater impact than scripture, how pompous. The last supper was celebrating the passover where the jews were required to eat the flesh of the unblemished lamb. Jesus the unblemished lamb of God. When people feel compelled to tell me what a text means that usually indicates they dont like what the text actually says.

Understand what I'm saying....
If someone does not accept that the host is the actual body and blood of Jesus it does NOT make them become unable to be saved.

If the bread is the actual body of Jesus,,,,then that is what they're accepting EVEN WHEN it is being done as a symbol.
It is either real or not...
if it's real then it will be real for all Christians because they all do this remembrance of Him, just as Jesus wishes.

I'm saying that doctrine does not save...
Jesus saves.

Exactly.

John 1:11 - He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him.

John 6 is one of those hard chapters to understand what the main point is. The apostle John is special, he starts with the conclusion 1:11 and then provides the evidence in many chapters, chapter 6 being a hard confrontation with the unbelieving Jews, even for the 12, they probably were flabbergasted as well, but they stayed. Key verses :

John 6:44 - No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.
John 6:65 - And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.”
John 6:70 - Jesus answered them, “Did I not choose you, the Twelve?

scripture is closed to you you cannot see;

Mat 13:13 This is why I speak to them in parables: ‘Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.’

Mat 13:14 In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled: ‘You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.

Mat 13:15 For this people’s heart has grown callous; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn, and I would heal them.’

Theses are the words of Jesus,, do you believe what he said?

John 6 is actually easy if you put the whole conversation together.

the people were fed the day before.. They also heard Jesus teach.

They followed Jesus. But Jesus knew their heart. they did not come to partake in the spiritual food (his words) but wanted physically fed,

the whole context falls into Jesus words.

John 6: 26 Jesus answered them and said, “Most assuredly, I say to you, you seek Me, not because you saw the signs, but because you ate of the loaves and were filled. 27 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”

all anyone has to do to determine what the context is. is figure out what this food is that endures forever.

Really?

The Jews could have eaten crackers at the first passover right? The cracker is a.symbol of the unblemished lamb right?

Thats asinine.

1 Corinthians 11:27-29. The persons that eats and drinks without discerning the body (flesh and blood) of the Lord is eating and drinking judgement on himself. We don't get to decide that a "symbol" of his body and blood is okey dokey especially since it contradicts what Jesus literally said and is restated by Paul

It's not just doctrine gg it's what God said just like the first passover. Stop this foolishness

Yes

I believe Jesus when he said whoever eats will never perish, live forever. never hunger or thirst. Will be raised on the last day. and will never be lost.

why do you not believe any of this?

Eats what?
John 6: 7 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”

32 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread from heaven, but My Father gives you the true bread from heaven.

35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me shall never hunger, and he who believes in Me shall never thirst

48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die. 51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.

58 This is the bread which came down from heaven—not as your fathers ate the manna, and are dead. He who eats this bread will live forever.”

63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.

The food is bolded in back. what people who eat it receive are bolded in red.

Not what Jesus said.

So if the flesh profit nothing then Jesus death was meaningless. THE flesh is not the same as HIS flesh. Jesus himself says the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world then three times says eat my flesh, drink my blood and even described his flesh and blood as REAL food and REAL drink. I could listen to you but that would be ridiculous to do.

lol.. I quoted jesus very words.. and your telling me it is not what jesus said?

What bible are you using. you need to throw it out.

Nope.. He died so you and I could live.

so when will you accept his death as payment for your sin

Good God. that's all you got out of everything that Jesus said?

I just posted what Jesus said, and here you are assuming I thought the flesh meant his flesh..

The flesh represented physical food. for which they came to eat.. which would die.. it profits no one anything. "don't work for food which perishes, Whoever eats this will die etc etc...)

this is what happens when your spoon fed scripture and told what to believe. you see things that are not there

Now please do yourself a favor. and go back and read EVERYTHING Jesus said.. And tell me WHY you do not believe everyone who does what he says will receive what he promised?

What do I need to get out of what Jesus said? "Amen amen I say to you unless you eat the flesh of man and drink his blood you do not have life within you."

Whoever feeds upon my flesh
and drinks my blood
has eternal life,
and I will raise him up on the last day.

will live forever.”

I believe what jesus said, everythign he said in this whole passage.

Your the one picking one small portion, and not even agreeing with what Jesus said in this portion yourself.. then mocking me?

lets try this again.

The food is bolded in back. what people who eat it receive what is bolded in red.

Why do you believe you may not receive what is bolded in red? if you eat the true flesh?

then why do you continually eat this flesh and why are you not assured you will be risen if you do?

Why do you not believe they will live forever? Why do you believe as your church teaches you can eat this flesh weekly all your life and still go to hell?

I believe what jesus said, everythign he said in this whole passage.

Your the one picking one small portion, and not even agreeing with what Jesus said in this portion yourself.. then mocking me?

Dude you are funny

lets try this again.

John 6: 7 Do not labor for the food which perishes, but for the food which endures to everlasting life, which the Son of Man will give you, because God the Father has set His seal on Him.”

Because Jesus says to do it. You can rant in but it's meaningless. His flesh is the bread of life. You don't eat his flesh you ignore Jesus. You aren't funny you're sad.
