Met a robot last night!

I was walking under protective construction girders so it was more narrow. I looked up and saw a delivery robot about 12 feet away! Apparently it had sensed me coming so it had stopped. At first it tried to get outside the protective girders to let me by.

But it was having a little difficulty. So I stepped aside instead. Once the path was clear, it started up again and went past me.

It was kind of cute with the headlights. It was short and shaped like a box, but it had headlights since it was evening!

But just wait till , perhaps , one of those shows up at your front door
and as you go to reach to get your things from inside
it plays a message saying farewell to thee , oh farewell to thee .
And you hear this funny sound can be heard .........................
Tick , tick , tick .............
