How many times should
@LoveYeshua quote John 6:63 to you ?
John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at all.
The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.
@GodsGrace ,
@ProDeo
I do not want to tell people what to do but we should move away from this "eat my fleas and drink my blood" topic and stop to entertain
@nedsk on this. We have all tried and proven several times that Jesus meaning is indeed spiritual and not literal but he will not listen. we should move forward instead. I propose we discuss another point essential to salvation that would also complement completing the opening post.
we could instead discuss Jesus's own words when he asks us that if we love him to keep his commandments, personally I know Jesus was talking of the Ten commandments as he explained to the rich young ruler;
Jesus Counsels the Rich Young Ruler (Mat 19:16-22)
16 Now behold, one came and said to Him, “
Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?”
17 So He said to him,
“Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments.”
18 He said to Him, “
Which ones?”
Jesus said, “‘
You shall not murder,’ ‘You shall not commit adultery,’ ‘You shall not steal,’ ‘You shall not bear false witness,’ 19 ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
20 The young man said to Him, “All these things I have kept [
d]from my youth. What do I still lack?”
21 Jesus said to him, “If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me."
22 But when the young man heard that saying, he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
Here it is clear that Jesus was speaking of the Ten commandments also defined as the Covenant By GOD.
I do believe this is one of the most important statements in the bible that leads the true believers to eternal life,
What do you all think?, lets discuss.
