What Is Sola Scriptura? Sola Scriptura, translated as "Scripture alone," is one of several Latin phrases that came to prominence during the Protestant Reformation. This idea asserts that the Bible alone should be treated as the ultimate and most trustworthy authority in all matters of faith, doctrine, and Christian living.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.
You people don't give up. Profitable doesn't mean only. When will you people wake up?

Tell me, what are priests useful other than giving nuns children without marrying?
Have the decency to answer the question that was posed to you first. You're an ill mannered neanderthal and you will be treated as such.

I noticed you didn't post anything from Scripture.
[1Ti 3:1-2 NKJV] 1 This [is] a faithful saying: If a man desires the position of a bishop, he desires a good work. 2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, temperate, sober-minded, of good behavior, hospitable, able to teach;
[Tit 1:7 NKJV] 7 For a bishop must be blameless, as a steward of God, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not given to wine, not violent, not greedy for money,
[1Pe 5:1 NKJV] 1 The elders who are among you I exhort, I who am a fellow elder and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that will be revealed:

Doesn't prove sola scriptura

Then, it shouldn't be hard for you to show me.
In fact - it's your DUTY to show me, acording to Scripture . . .

1 Pet. 3:15

But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

If you can't prove your doctres from Scripture - then your entire Sola Scriptura defense goes right down the drain . . .
No the biblical truth does not go down the drain! but I will answer you AGAIN!

The church gets its authority from Jesus and what He taught the original apostles. That is found in John and in Matt. 28 in what is known as the great commission.

then Paul added :

2 Timothy 3:15-17

King James Version

15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

Notice what is glaringly absent in this passage by a foundation layer of the church? He did not include, tradition, and church councils are inspired by god and profitable. You make an argument to include thise without biblical evidence.

2 Timothy 2:15
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

We study to be approved by rightly understanding Scripture, not some legion of tomes on Canon Law!

It is scripture that gives the foundation and power for any decisions people or sects make. anything not found in the basics of Scripture is to be rejected.

That includes all doctrine made by allegorical interpretations of Scriptue including but not limited to:

1. Mary Queen of Heaven
2. Mary is co-mediatrix
3. Mary is co-redemptrix.
4. The perpetual virginity of Mary
5. Mary never sinned
6. Mary was assumed bodily into heaven.
7. Mary as intercessor for us to Jesus and the Father.
8. Purgatory.
9. erecting graven images of God and Jesus in a church
10. celibacy
11. making eating meat a mortal sin.

these are all extra-biblical doctrines or doctrines established by reinterpreting the clear plain teaching of Scripture and must be rejected with all ones might!

The Scriptures teach church leaders how to act in situations by laying down principles by which they form their decisions. So it is sola scriutura.

I didn't say that. It doesn't exist long without writing.
Well writing in coherent sentence will result in people not understanding you. It existed long before writing. How do you think tradtions were passed on from generation to generation within societies before writing?

So when Ignatius of Antioch a disciple of the apostle John wrote that Jesus is present in the Eucharist that came from Jesus who taught the "original" apostles. Excellent.

They didn't. But since you seem to believe in Evolutionary hypotheses of mankind's development, and believed it was possible.

Wrong! Even the Romanists did not emphatically declare transubstantiation to be their official position until the 4th Latern council in 1215.

Paul said if one ate unworhtily they were guilty of sin against the body and blood, not against Jesus.

And if one studies a Passover Seder carefully, one will understand what Jesus was referring to when He said "my body" and "my blood" He wasn't teaching transubstantiation, but defining parts of the seder and what they symbolized for over a millennia.
