But this is not what the verse is saying, right?Jesus is the firstborn of the New Creation, and he is also the Creator of the New Creation.
Do you think your explanations really make sense in the plain reading of the texts and regarding their cultural and textual context?I believe that Jesus is alluding to the anticipated glory mentioned in Psalm 8:3-6. Note the Genesis creation and the New Creation context, hence Jesus speaking of "before the world began".
My plain reading of my OT and NT foundation texts make perfect sense. I am not interested in turning this thread into a Trinitarian vs Unitarian discussion.Do you think your explanations really make sense in the plain reading of the texts and regarding their cultural and textual context?
Another word or worder was Jesus. Ουτος means other something doing the same thing.A plan was God?
No you're not. Post millennial doesn't teach that Jesus already returned.I am a post-Millenialist. I also disagree with Christadelphian advice.
But yet I am neither a preterist in the traditional definition or perhaps meaning. No you're not. Post millennial doesn't teach that Jesus already returned.
I'm getting the pic. It's all your very own.But yet I am neither a preterist in the traditional definition or perhaps meaning.
I would not call your explanations "plain reading", because you change the verses, obviously, in your explanations (for examples "all creation" -> "new creation"). But as you wish.Greetings again HealthyShape,

My question was about this:Another word or worder was Jesus. Ουτος means other something doing the same thing.
Perhaps one day we could discuss each of your favourite verses that you use to support the Trinity. Over the years I have developed some thorough responses to some of these verses, and if I saw a list like yours I would not answer all of your list, but select the ones that I am confident that I can give a worthwhile and accurate answer. One of my favourites is to discuss John 8:58 and I have discussed this thoroughly recently on another forum. To be honest I avoid some of the others. I consider that there are appropriate answers to these and I could possibly quote some of my reference material, but I do not consider that I am proficient to sufficiently convince someone who holds a different view of these.I would not call your explanations "plain reading", because you change the verses, obviously, in your explanations (for examples "all creation" -> "new creation"). I have one of these and it is what the New World Translation is based on. They even twist the original greek:"The New World Translation is unique in one thing – it is the first intentional, systematic effort at producing a complete version of the Bible that is edited and revised for the specific purpose of agreeing with a group’s doctrine. The Jehovah’s Witnesses and the Watchtower Society realized that their beliefs contradicted Scripture. So, rather than conforming their beliefs to Scripture, they altered Scripture to agree with their beliefs. The “New World Bible Translation Committee” went through the Bible and changed any Scripture that did not agree with Jehovah’s Witness theology"

IOW, JW's twist the Hell out of nearly every verse in the Bible to change the meaning.

They must have Bible twisting classes at Kingdom hall.I have one of these and it is what the New World Translation is based on. They even twist the original greek:

I sympathize with keeping the conversation focused on one thing or one verse. It is easier to follow.Greetings again HealthyShape,

Jesus was the second word or worder in the gospel of John. A worder can be something the informs, but a LOGOS is not a full statement in Greek. My question was about this:
"And the Word was God".
"kai theos én ho logos".
You said it is about a plan. So I asked - a plan was God? I do not understand what you mean by your answer.
Me too. I have 2 editions. It is clear as day what they do. It's awful- and it's all over the scriptures not just the ones that are widely known.I have one of these and it is what the New World Translation is based on. They even twist the original greek:

A plan has no memories of a prior existence. Jesus clearly did, and that is not disputable no matter how much twisting you try to do.Jesus was the second word or worder in the gospel of John. A worder can be something the informs, but a LOGOS is not a full statement in Greek.
Here's the thing. I was talking about his Father.A plan has no memories of a prior existence. Jesus clearly did, and that is not disputable no matter how much twisting you try to do.
The Word was the Father? Here's the thing. I was talking about his Father.
There are many LOGOI. There are 4 in the previous sentence. A LOGOS is something that informs in one unit. The Word was the Father?
