If I were a betting man, I'd bet on Putin getting what he wants out of this war. He's winning on the battlefield, and so it's only natural that he's in no rush to concede to any of the western powers.

For Trump's part, I think he's doubt what he can with the poor hand he's been dealt. He's in no position to make demands of Russia, and he obviously becomes more frustrated the longer the war continues. I believe this is why he is trying to shift more of the burden onto the EU. "It's their continent, their responsibility."

Zelensky is in the worst position. He has no leverage whatsoever, and is relying entirely on the western powers to keep his country in a fight that he knows he can't win. Negotiations with the Russian Federation is the only path forward for him, and think he's being squeezed by the U.S. to accept this reality.

The European leaders. What do I even need to say? They're pathetic. They want to go to war with Russia over Ukraine. My question is, go to war with what? These European armies area in shambles and they haven't fought anyone since WW2. They'd be going up against battle hardened Russian soldiers.

Thankfully, even if they don't like it, these European leaders are unlikely to do anything that stupid. They won't commit to any offensive action unless they are certain the U.S. has their back. Which it most certainly does not.

European countries are already using mass migration to thin the white population in their countries so I would not be surprised at all for NATO to go all in against Russia.

All I see in these ridiculous situations that have been taking place as long as humans have dominated other humans, is the fact that none of them are really “the good guys” they paint themselves to be.....opposing sides are buoyed by propaganda as old as time itself, to feed the masses the same old lies that have always led to war.
Follow the money trail today and see who it is that benefits from these incessant conflicts. Greed drives them all....and the mass media is always ready to justify retaliation because of telling only one warped side of the story. Whipped up emotions are a dangerous weapon all by themselves.

Those on the opposing side are also told the opposite story, so that those who volunteer or are conscripted into the military, do so out of what they consider to be a sacred duty to their country......so these nations will always have the resources they need in the ‘oneupmanship’ of egos that drive these conflicts.

Those raised in countries where patriotism is taught from infancy will follow any command that supports their nation from an attack by a supposed enemy....and that enemy is also taught to see the opposer as the real villain. Who can win in that situation where truth is sacrificed to carry out a hidden agenda? Don’t believe anything you hear via mass media....it’s a propaganda machine.

When will people wake up and see what is really going on.....? There is an unseen enemy promoting this situation that keeps the military fully supported, and the war machine fully oiled, yet vast numbers of their own populations can be homeless, sick and starving.
So much money is channeled into killing, that no one seems to stop and count the people in their own countries, who are the real victims of this ridiculous mentality.
It’s called “Perception Management” and the powers that be know how to use it to manipulate their populations to support their wars.....giving them fat profits in the process.

What does this achieve?

If the money spent on war was spent on saving lives, rather than ever more heinous ways of taking lives, and just destroying property.....imagine a world where no one was homeless or starving on the streets of wealthy nations, because they supported, not only their own people, but cared enough about others in need and help them as well?

The only leverage against Russia is economic. President Trump’s deal typically involve carrots and sticks, but whether that will make a near-term difference is difficult to say. Europe may be content to buy weapons from us and give them to Ukraine.

I am maybe a national democrat, I am a bit of a socialist myself, but these governments are incompetent, delusional, violent, and ideologically bankrupt. And the 'opposition' is little more than a coopted variant of the same system.

I have Socialist mates who are much better balanced people then him.

I have a mate from grade 8 on who is worth near 100 million and all he is about is money nothing other tight as they come could never marry for fear of loosing half ! but lives like he does not have a cent. If anything cost him anything he freeks out, that he has been Stung ! oh the pain !

But in regards Socialist ? they come across as wanting to help everyone out and all will be good ! like Unions ?
