I think this might be Indonesia. I visited Java and Bali in 1988...also fed monkeys a few peanuts. One grabbed my finger until I gave him another peanut.

One of my cats used to get on the bed in the morning and gently put her paw on my eyelid! She's the only one that did that. She also followed me around all of the time.

I rescued her when some kids played with her and then dumped her in the hallway. My neighbor let me know and I took care of her since she was very young.

This one is funny. Quite a pretty parrot.

I got bit on the ear posing with the largest species of parrot...those big blue ones. Wonder if I got parrot fever...I was sick afterwards. Had to spend a day in bed at the hotel.
