Some on man's extremely... FALSE doctrine of Full Preterism have made it here to this Forum. What is that doctrine?

Full Preterism wrongly believes Lord Jesus Christ's future 2nd coming is only meant 'spiritually'.

On top of that false idea, they also believe that the 2nd coming already happened back in the days of Christ's 12 Apostles, which is blatantly false.'

One of the easiest, and most simple ways to 'know'... that doctrine is false, is by simply looking at how the Apostles spoke of Christ's FUTURE COMING for sometime even in 'their' future. In other words, if the 2nd coming had already happened in their day, then we would not find them speaking of Christ's 2nd coming in the sense that it was still expecting in their day.

These below verses (and many more I did not post) declare Christ's 2nd coming is still expecting when these Scriptures were written.

Heb 9:28
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear
the second time without sin unto salvation.
KJV

Acts 1:10-11
10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
11 Which also said, "Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven?
this same Jesus, Which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven."
KJV

That Acts 1 event above when Lord Jesus ascended on a cloud to Heaven, in view of His disciples there upon the Mount of Olives, was after... He had appeared to them for 40 days after His resurrection. Those two angels stated Jesus will come in like manner as they saw Him ascend into Heaven. That puts Jesus' 2nd coming in the still expecting sense in their day, and is still expecting in our day.

If Jesus' 2nd coming had happened in the days of His Apostles, then the whole world would have known about it, and been convinced...

Rev 1:7
7 Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.
KJV

1 John 3:2
2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is.
KJV

Even Apostle John in his day understood Jesus' return, His 2nd coming, was still expecting. For right in John's day, he says it doesn't yet appear what we shall be, meaning how we shall look like, pointing to the change to the spiritual body Paul taught in 1 Cor.15. But we know, John says, when Jesus does appear, we will appear like Him (in our glorious body), for we shall see Him as He is.

Now does that sound like John believed Jesus' 2nd coming already happened in his day? No, of course not. Thus men's false doctrine of Full Preterism is EASY to debunk.

Another pointer about the false ideas of Full Preterism is, just why... would those on that false doctrine believe Christ's 2nd coming already was history? It is so... easy to prove false by keeping God's Word as written, so why would men promote such a blatantly false idea?

Do you know how the devil originally rebelled against God in the beginning, and fell from Heaven?

The devil's original sin was that he coveted God's Throne for himself. He wanted to be GOD. And per God's parable about the devil using the "king of Tyrus" in Ezek.28 as a type, God had created the devil originally perfect in his ways to guard His Throne.

Full Preterism promotes that same... sin the devil did in the beginning. That because to wrongly believe that Lord Jesus Christ's future 2nd coming already happened in His Apostle's day completely scraps... any idea of Jesus' future physical return back to this earth. It would also mean none of us are gathered to Christ in the future, and basically that His 2nd coming is really just a myth. Now who... would want us to believe that baloney?

If you know Bible prophecy that Jesus gave us about the events of the end of this world leading up to His future return, then you know the devil is going to setup a final beast kingdom over all nations on earth prior... to Christ's future return to end that. Do you see Full Preterism theory having a connection with that coming one-world beast kingdom goal? You should. That's why they want to push Christ's future 2nd coming back in history as if it already happened. Does that point to the devil having his hand in creating that Full Preterism doctrine? You betcha!

This person is passionately arguing against a theological view called Full Preterism, which they believe is a dangerous and false doctrine. Here's a breakdown of what they're saying:

What Is Full Preterism?
• Full Preterism teaches that all biblical prophecies, including Jesus Christ’s Second Coming, final judgment, and resurrection, were fulfilled in the first century, particularly around AD 70 during the destruction of Jerusalem.
• It interprets Christ’s return as spiritual or symbolic, not a future physical event.

❌ Why This Person Rejects It
• They claim Full Preterism denies a future, visible return of Christ, which contradicts how the Apostles spoke of Jesus’ Second Coming as something still expected in their time.
• They cite verses like Hebrews 9:28, Acts 1:10–11, Revelation 1:7, and 1 John 3:2 to show that early Christians anticipated a future, physical return of Jesus.
• They argue that if Christ had already returned, everyone would have known, and the Apostles wouldn’t have written as if it were still to come.

Their Strong Accusations
• They equate Full Preterism with spiritual deception, even suggesting it aligns with the devil’s original rebellion—wanting to replace God’s truth with a counterfeit.
• They believe this doctrine undermines Christian hope, erases future resurrection, and feeds into end-times deception, possibly linked to a coming “beast kingdom.”

Tone and Intent
• The speaker is adamant, emotionally charged, and sees this as a spiritual battle.
• They’re not just disagreeing—they’re warning others that Full Preterism is heretical, misleading, and possibly satanic in origin.

My comment concerning the whole:
All I can add is not everyone is the same when it comes to what they believe or do not believe as every individual should be able to choose for themselves. I know for one thing I do believe that Jesus and his coming did happen and it was seen by those whom were waiting, watch, and anticipating his return and they saw him and were saved as promised from the Wrath that had fallen upon the nation of Israel, but I digress.

Especially based on what you said in your latter paragraph, I definitely do not interpret God's Word like you. And I am firm that your interpretation is false, and is only following false doctrines that originate from men, and not from God and His Word. I hope you repent before it's too late.

Hey, I’m at peace with what I believe. If I were off track, I trust God—through His Spirit—would let me know. At least… I think so. I mean, I can’t exactly prove God exists, can I?
Anyway, that’s just me. You’ve got the freedom to make your own choices too. Just remember—none of us gets to force someone else to follow our lead. Let the Spirit guide people to what the truth is, in faith, hope and love.

This was created for people to consider too, and I always try to make sure people know not to believe me or trust me either.

Though for people who don't believe that Jesus had come back their only other view is he is coming back again today, which is really drastically different than Jesus said concerning a time that would never be so great again...

But again, I digress, maybe someone out there will see it for what it is.

It's definitely not a salvational issue.

That sounds all well and nice, but it is still suggesting the desire to go one's own way instead of how The LORD and His Son wants us to go. Apostle Paul said we should all be speaking the same thing, as one body, not a bunch of separate groups doing their own thing, like how it is today.

Brother, I hear your heart—and you're right to long for unity in the body of Christ. Paul did urge us to speak the same thing, to be of one mind and one Spirit. That’s not about uniformity of opinion, but about shared surrender to the Lordship of Jesus and the truth of His Word.
Still, we must be careful not to fall into the trap of finger-pointing or condemnation. Jesus Himself was rejected by those who thought they were defending righteousness—some even tried to throw Him off a cliff. But He didn’t retaliate. He walked away, knowing His mission was rooted in love, not accusation.
We’re called to speak truth, yes—but always in love. To correct, yes—but with humility. Let’s be the kind of people who restore gently, who listen deeply, and who remember that mercy triumphs over judgment.
Let’s walk together, not apart. Grace and peace to you.

Your one to talk!
Funny then how you do not believe Paul's teaching on the second coming then, preferring to believe Zechariah 14's ungodly survivors interpretation at the return of Christ, even saying they are raised in the resurrection of condemnation and survive on the earth with Christ ruling over them with a rod of iron, when Paul, Christ, Peter all say the ungodly are destroyed with an evelasting perdition and sent to hell-lake of fire at His returning.

A clear example of the teaching, which is the truth, but it strongly disagrees with you as you cannot reconcile it with your 1000 year long earthly ruling of Christ on this, the First Earth at His second coming.
Shame on you.
As you are deceiving everyone who reads what you write.
Some of what you say is scriptural, but so also were the false teachers, partly correct, but they did not have the Spirit of God.

2 Thess 1

3 We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other, 4 so that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and [a]tribulations that you endure, 5 which is manifest[b] evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you also suffer; 6 since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with [c]tribulation those who trouble you,

7 and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels,

8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

9 These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power,

10 when He comes, in that Day, to be glorified in His saints and to be admired among all those who [d]believe, because our testimony among you was believed.

And many other such scriptures you do not believe.

Jesus on His coming

Matthew 24
36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of [f]heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be

Luke 17

22 Then He said to the disciples, “The days will come when you will desire to see one of the days of the Son of Man, and you will not see it. 23 And they will say to you, [h]‘Look here!’ or ‘Look there!’ Do not go after them or follow them. 24 For as the lightning that flashes out of one part under heaven shines to the other part under heaven, so also the Son of Man will be in His day. 25 But first He must suffer many things and be rejected by this generation. 26 And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: 27 They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.

28 Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; 29 but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. 30 Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The above also prove the Lord has not yet returned as the wicked and unbelieving are still walking, living, building, eating and drinking, marrying, planting, buying, selling, on the earth.
The Day of the Lord
1 But concerning the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I should write to you.
2 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night.
3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.
4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief.
5 You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be [a]sober. 7 For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night. 8 But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. 9 For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him.
!!!!
So yes, brethren beware how you hear! And from whom.
Fifth Bowl: Darkness and Pain
10 Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. 11 They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.
Sixth Bowl: Euphrates Dried Up
12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings [g]of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.
16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, [h]Armageddon.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jesus and His apostles always describe His coming as a thief, For He comes at a time when you do not expect, and then a sudden destruction.
2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up.
Matthew 24
No One Knows the Day or Hour
36 “But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of [f]heaven, but My Father only. 37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.
42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what [g]hour your Lord is coming.
43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what [h]hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.
44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
this same Jesus, Which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen Him go into heaven."
BINGO!
How people can believe the notion that Jesus already came and that his second coming will be spiritual is amazing.
One must ignore the plain writings of scripture and descend onto the web of smooth talking men to get corrupted from so simple of a doctrine.
Only few people saw Jesus ascending to heaven, right? It was basically a private event.
So, what "bingo!" do you think you won with this verse?
Revelation 1:7
Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.
Even if Christ came in 70AD , every eye saw Him, including the dead as 70 AD was many decades after the crucifixion, and the average lifespan in Roman times was 22 to 33 years old.
It never says in the New Testament that Christ walks again on this first earth.
Christ only dwells on the New earth in the New heavenly Jerusalem that comes down out of heaven onto the new earth.
And there is no wickedness, rebels, or evil on the new earth, all of that passed away and went into the Lake of Fire.
Many people make up stories about all this.
The Comfort of Christ’s Coming
13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen [b]asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who [c]sleep in Jesus.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are [d]asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.
Revelation uses a prophetic language. I would not take "every eye" literally meaning every eye of evrey creature on the planet in all the history, fish in deep oceans, dinosarus and similar.
I would take it as "the coming will be clearly visible", which it was, as Josephus and Tacitus recorded.
BTW, the average lifespan is irrelevant. Averages count also child deaths, wars etc. It does not mean that a person could not live to 80's, 90's, when he survived childhood, famines and wars. There were quite a lot of old people in those times.
Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
ALL will see Him coming. Jesus also says it.
His return is visible to every tribe of people on the earth.
It is a time of mourning for them as it means their certain destruction.
Cause He takes His people up into the air, then He burns the earth with fire, and they who are left behind will all die.
Isaiah 24, the earth will be violently destroyed, then the Lord will restore the earth and it will be New again and He will reign on the New Earth in the restoration-regeneration in the age of the resurrection with His people, and there will be no more evil things left. They all go into the Lake of Fire.
1 Behold, the Lord makes the earth empty and makes it waste,
Distorts its surface
And scatters abroad its inhabitants.
2 And it shall be:
As with the people, so with the priest;
As with the servant, so with his master;
As with the maid, so with her mistress;
As with the buyer, so with the seller;
As with the lender, so with the borrower;
As with the creditor, so with the debtor.
3 The land shall be entirely emptied and utterly plundered,
For the Lord has spoken this word.
4 The earth mourns and fades away,
The world languishes and fades away;
The haughty[a] people of the earth languish.
5 The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants,
Because they have transgressed the laws,
Changed the ordinance,
Broken the everlasting covenant.
6 Therefore the curse has devoured the earth,
And those who dwell in it are [b]desolate.
Therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned,
And few men are left.
7 The new wine fails, the vine languishes,
All the merry-hearted sigh.
8 The mirth of the tambourine ceases,
The noise of the jubilant ends,
The joy of the harp ceases.
9 They shall not drink wine with a song;
Strong drink is bitter to those who drink it.
10 The city of confusion is broken down;
Every house is shut up, so that none may go in.
11 There is a cry for wine in the streets,
All joy is darkened,
The mirth of the land is gone.
12 In the city desolation is left,
And the gate is stricken with destruction.
13 When it shall be thus in the midst of the land among the people,
It shall be like the shaking of an olive tree,
Like the gleaning of grapes when the vintage is done.
14 They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing;
For the majesty of the Lord
They shall cry aloud from the sea.
15 Therefore glorify the Lord in the dawning light,
The name of the Lord God of Israel in the coastlands of the sea.
16 From the ends of the earth we have heard songs:
“Glory to the righteous!”
But I said, [c]“I am ruined, ruined!
Woe to me!
The treacherous dealers have dealt treacherously,
Indeed, the treacherous dealers have dealt very treacherously.”
17 Fear and the pit and the snare
Are upon you, O inhabitant of the earth.
18 And it shall be
That he who flees from the noise of the fear
Shall fall into the pit,
And he who comes up from the midst of the pit
Shall be [d]caught in the snare;
For the windows from on high are open,
And the foundations of the earth are shaken.
19 The earth is violently broken,
The earth is split open,
The earth is shaken exceedingly.
20 The earth shall reel[e] to and fro like a drunkard,
And shall totter like a hut;
Its transgression shall be heavy upon it,
And it will fall, and not rise again.
21 It shall come to pass in that day
That the Lord will punish on high the host of exalted ones,
And on the earth the kings of the earth.
22 They will be gathered together,
As prisoners are gathered in the [f]pit,
And will be shut up in the prison;
After many days they will be punished.
23 Then the moon will be disgraced
And the sun ashamed;
For the Lord of hosts will reign
On Mount Zion and in Jerusalem
And before His elders, gloriously.
Nowhere... did I disagree with Apostle Paul.
Your problem is you are heeding a false interpretation of men with wrongly thinking 1 Thessalonians 4 by Paul is the end all of events about Christ's future return! You only reveal your BIBLICAL ILLITERACY!
Zechariah 14:4-5 is a CONTINUATION of the events of 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 with Jesus on His DESCENT to earth. But you apparently have been listening to Biblically ignorant men who don't know that, and instead treat the Old Testament Books of God's prophets as all past history when there is still much prophecy written in those prophets not yet fulfilled. The Zechariah 14 Chapter about Christ's future return is one of them. So when you MOCK Zechariah 14, you only dig your hole deeper for future rebuke from Jesus when He returns. I'm giving you a chance now, today, to repent, before you have to face Jesus for your error, because your deception about this could very well lead you to bow in worship to the fake one that comes first prior to Lord Jesus' actual coming.
You though deny at the return of Christ the destruction of the ungodly who will go to perdition at that Day of Christ's returning.
Right now this Mount Zion is in heaven where God dwells with His people in heaven.
But will descend out of heaven onto the New Earth, and not onto the First earth. The Holy City stays in heaven for now.
Hebrews 12
The Glorious Company
18 For you have not come [g]to the mountain that may be touched and that burned with fire, and to blackness and [h]darkness and tempest, 19 and the sound of a trumpet and the voice of words, so that those who heard it begged that the word should not be spoken to them anymore. 20 (For they could not endure what was commanded: “And if so much as a beast touches the mountain, it shall be stoned [i]or shot with an arrow.” 21 And so terrifying was the sight that Moses said, “I am exceedingly afraid and trembling.”)
22 But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of angels, 23 to the [j]general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered in heaven, to God the Judge of all, to the spirits of just men made perfect, 24 to Jesus the Mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel.
Hear the Heavenly Voice
25 See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, 26 whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I [k]shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” 27 Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain.
28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we [l]may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. 29 For our God is a consuming fire.
