It will be.If he really did. I think he probably did but it should be proven in front of a judge and jury.
Why?In my opinion, involvement in a transgenderism relationship - if in fact he is, as he appears to be - makes him mentally ill.
A formality, as you said. Then the presumption of innocence would be “wink, wink, nudge, nudge” in these cases.
I can see the benefits of that. However, I don't think it's a possibility anymore, given the nature of how fast information shared now on social media.I think the public should get the information in the trial, as the case unfolds in front of judge and jury.

The prosecution will not offer a plea deal or negotiate with overwhelming evidence.
The law says to be tried by a jury of your peers. It does not matter the publicity beforehand.
This is the age of fast news, and it was a shot heard around the world.
That is a slippery slope the claim mental illness. That would translate to all transgendered people are mentally ill. I doubt the defense would go there. If they did, that would set off a firestorm.Probably. That’s where it should have become known to the public.
Transgenderism is mentally well?
It shouldn’t be.
It would be possible if too much information isn’t released.

He has sympathetic and unsympathetic peers.
It’s just a circus show now.
Not with the news stations around the world claiming transgendered people are now mentally ill. That’s right.
If I was in his shoes and they didn’t, I would ask the judge to replace them.

No. But that's not what you said. You implied that the killer was mentally ill because he had a trans boyfriend. I don't think that makes him mentally ill, I think that makes him gay or bisexual.Transgenderism is mentally well?
Charlie Kirk shouldn't be dead either. It shouldn’t be.
Good luck with that. Information is leaked all the time.It would be possible if too much information isn’t released.
As long as it takes to convict him. I'm not concerned about the length of the trial. However, I am concerned about this guy sitting on death row for two decades or more before justice is served. How long should this trial take @Riven? Would an hour be too long?
Don't trust the media. If he has the media behind him then his defense team should use it to their benefit.

Best case scenario, if the accused murderer is guilty he will plead guilty.
In what way? Do you think that being anything other thabk straight makes someone mentally ill? That’s where we disagree.
I don't think Erika Kirk should have to wait 30 years for justice for her slain husband.I don’t see any reason to be concerned about that. That’s the way the system works.

Fair enough. I disagree. If they act on it I do.
If that were true we wouldn't be damned as soon as we were born. Answerable for our behaviors as soon as we were of age to know right from wrong. Which is more now than Adam and Eve knew.God doesn’t want anyone to perish.
Yes we do. Because the sins of the father aren't suppose to pass to the child. No sinner deserves forgiveness.
If that were true ….
… we wouldn't be damned as soon as we were born.

God condemned the entire human race twice for the innocent first mistake of the first two humans he created.
We don't deserve to be damned.
