The trolls have been active in the live chat on NBC. Pitiful to troll a funeral. But lots of Christians chatting too.

300,000 people showed up for the memorial including Washington DC leadership (ex Democrat Party) Even Elon and Trump buried the hatchet for the memorial.
Over 3 million are watching it through all the various livestreams.
This is more than what showed up for JFK's memorial or MLK's service...
However, I am concerned about some of the rhetoric coming from the Republicans at the moment. Some of the surveillance going on of social media.
Nothing I can point a specific finger at....but at least there isn't any rioting and looting.
But it doesn't mean that I'm not troubled at the same time.
Charlie Kirk was a Christian man...however he mixed politics and religion and of course the second you involve politicians with religion....it gets slimey in a minute.
So I'm just concerned is all.

Jesus said render under Caesar that which is Caesar's and render unto God what is God's.
Meaning to Him there is a difference between politics and Religion on Earth.
Also Barrabbas was a politician that was sentenced to be crucified....but the crowd wanted him freed instead of Jesus whom they knew was A-Political. (They just didn't care...they wanted Jesus dead to claim and spin Rome killed their prophets)
Because I know what I believe and why I believe it in depth. Regardless of tradition or denomination.
And if I don't trust my Pastor with my eternal salvation how much less a person on the internet. I expect everything I say to be checked and rechecked. Do you?

You've just said talking to you on a forum is a huge waste of time. You imagine you're never wrong because you commit to confirmation bias.
When you don't know Jesus was a revolutionary,you're right. You can't discuss Jesus.
I believe you.
Jesus was not leading an armed rebellion and revolution to overthrow the Roman occupation or a violent forceful campaign against the Jews either.
It's not ego....
I've dedicated a LOT of time studying God's Word for myself. I'm not easily swayed but that doesn't mean that it's impossible either. But usually it's on a subject I haven't studied before. This one is not it. I simply do not follow every wind of doctrine that comes my way.
Don't feel special as if I'm discriminating against you specifically...I don't believe anyone without a LOT of proof based heavily in scriptures.
That's the way it should be. Vetting resources for credibility, checking what they say and why they say it.
That's one of the reasons why I liked Charlie even if he was Catholic. He didn't promote the Catholic Church, he promoted basic truth and basic Christian principles. He did it in such a fashion that it was obvious he was telling the truth. He had been fact checked repeatedly and if there was a means to "get him" with facts they would have. That's why they resorted to violence. He never wavered from the truth and there were no ambiguous facts they could prove the opposite of. They did try though.
The USA is a nation built by Christians for Christians. And I understand that it's confusing but it never was created for a disbelieving population. Yes there's tolerance for a disbelieving population but never was supposed to be acceptance of them as we have today. Which is a major reason we have this "Constitutional Crisis" that keeps getting repeated. (We dont....it's just that the disbelieving population wants one)

Dunno what that is....he was in a dark suit....nicely tailored and likely more than I could ever afford to spend on a suit. I got a suit....I just seldom wear it. It fits okayish for off the rack. Elon Musk suit? It is a custom made suit. Never any puckers, bunching or wrinkles. But when you are the wealthiest man on the planet you can afford such things.
