That's one of the reasons why I liked Charlie even if he was Catholic. He didn't promote the Catholic Church, he promoted basic truth and basic Christian principles.
Charlie Kirk wasn't Catholic. His wife is Catholic.

Pastor McCoy (I think that's his name)... Charlie considered him his pastor. Pastor McCoy pastors a Calvary Chapel church.

I had to stop watching to charge my tablet. Heard the service was over five hours?
Will try to watch more at intervals.

I watched quite a bit of the service, shame it did get political at times and it’s a shame Trump turned it back onto himself as he started off on the right track and remembered it was about Charlie Kirk.
Thought it was lovely that they are going to give him Honour degree and I am pleased that Erica used the word ‘ forgiveness ‘ as that lay at the heart of our faith, and can be used greatly. Most people prefer to hate the young lad now in custody, and applaud that he will be facing the death penalty. Pretty sure Charlie , and Jesus , would want to come alongside that young lad and witness to him. His parents will also lose a son.
Years ago a father in Northern Ireland forgave the IRA for murdering his daughter at a memorial service bombing, she died in his arms. It led to peace ………God can use the darkest of moments in a persons life to have a rippling effect when we choose to handle it His way.
