So if your opinion is that the Bible doesn't mean what it says, what's to be done? I'm not going to try to talk you into it!

Much love!
It means what it means, not what it is often interpreted as meaning.
Our challenge is to discover its intent.....and who has the courage for that?

That shows itself in our posts. Only certain ones seem to be able to accept what the Bible says without resorting to their own imaginations to say, "this actually means that", and, "it says this, but it means that", and, "doncha know that's all symbols?"

Much love!

Symbols (metaphors) are embedded in every language even ordinary language. We cannot escape that fact.

When I say, 'it's raining cats and dogs', who of us goes out looking for pussies and puppies?
When Jesus says, 'eat my flesh and drink my blood' is he promoting cannibalism?

The culture in which scripture is written is no different. It is discerning when certain language is used to make certain points which unlocks its intent.

Are the Four Angels of Revelation 7 the same Four Angels as in Revelation 9?

Yes, obviously you did not see the part I highlighted in bold. Go back and read it again.
I did see it, you referring to Ezekiel 9 and the 'mark'.

Since the Great Tribulation began in 70AD and continues to this day, you are already in false teaching territory.

I already had a clue of the false doctrine that you were driving at, maybe from other of your posts elsewhere.

The "great tribulation" Jesus warned about for the END of this world per His Olivet discourse DID NOT HAPPEN IN 70 A.D.

By you claiming that, it means you are following men's seminary systems of either Historicism and Preterism, most likely the false doctrine of Preterism.
